Titanium Backup Problem. - Captivate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just installed my first ROM, serendipity, and after it was done I went to the market and downloaded Titanium Backup again. I went to the restore section and chose in batch ""restore missing apps with data" and it then ran the batch operation. But then the app that it is restoring pops up and has the options install or cancel. I installed the first one and it did it again for the second app. Do I have to manually install each app? What am I doing wrong?

pay for the full version....it will make life a lot simpler. with the full version, you dont have to confirm each restore

Seriously... thats only in the free version. Having to manually install 100+ apps? plus its like 6 bucks for the paid.

100+ Apps? Hell yeah the $6 is worth it!

Buy it. If you flash half as much as most people around here, it's a life saver.

Thanks. I tried that, put the appbrain app on my tablet and tried to install, but I keep getting requested item not found. It's not showing up in my market, even though I did the market fix.
I had to download it to my phone and then transfer the apk file. Works fine though once its installed. I am running on tnt lite 3.1.4
Click @the bottom where it says download apk. http://www.netshet.org/2011/01/03/tank-hero-android-game-download-out-of-beta-now/
It is in my Market and works- VEGAn 5.1 beta
EDIT: and now that I have done the "Full Market Fix" and have most other Apps, it is gone!! LOL. Oh Well.
Same here

Yeah, me too.
I purchased some apps, did the market fix, and lost them in "My Apps".
Then, when I flashed to Vegan5.1, the apps listed under "My Apps" changed again.
Good thing I backed them up, but the missing ones don't update.
Anyway, Tank Hero is fun!
Thanks guys!

For the hell of it I decided to try the market fix again (after already getting 99% of the market back) to see if it made a difference. I deleted the cache and data in the app manager, and rebooted. Opened the market and voila - Tank Hero and all the other apps I was missing showed up.
start the Market and then do the market fix with the market running... restart and you should have Tank Hero

[Q] convert to system app using TB - is it safe?

I have 76MB+ free internal storage, and 61MB free in System ROM storage. I've been thinking to move my widgets(Fancy Widgets, Android Pro Widgets) and launcher to System ROM storage. Is it safe to move 'em there? Or it will makes my phone slow(due to low space on system ROM)?
Try it out, I don´t think that it´ll be slower.

hold the desired app, then choose convert to system app
But this will only work with the Pro version, otherwise it´ll ask you to buy the Pro version.
Yeah, the options is available in PRO version.
btt: I've tried to move several apps to system partition, guess what. I faced several FC(LP Sense UI), and unresponsive Handcent SMS. looks like it lags the phone. Even lockscreen is lag, gotta wait for few seconds to view the lockscreen(from screen off).
Push the app u want to system/app with root explorer

[Q] App Install Problem

Hi! This is my first post!
I have some problem with app install.
First of all, not on purpose, I have moved market app to sd. Then that app, in app > all, is showed in gray:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After that I installed the app market from apk and it works again but I have another problem: I'm not able to install any app from market, not from website not from app. After download, when the install started, phone reboot.
I use this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475504
Thanks to all.
PS: sorry for my poor english
Try to reinstall Google apps. Sounds like something is corrupted there and best place to start is reinstalling gapps.zip then go from there! Good luck =)

[Q] Battery monitoring app?

I've obviously updated an app that's gone a bit rogue as my One is dropping to 30% by mid afternoon (last week it wouldn't hit that until 10pm!)
According to the system app monitor, my biggest user is "Android System" which contains a whole bunch of packages, but I doubt that's suddenly gone crazy... is there a simple free app that'll tell me which underlying process is buggering it up?

"BetterBatteryStats" app is good and worth for what you are looking for...
Hmm, so I tried two...
BetterBatteryStats suggests it's Instagram
BatteryStatsPlus suggests it's the Google Backup Transport?
