I have 76MB+ free internal storage, and 61MB free in System ROM storage. I've been thinking to move my widgets(Fancy Widgets, Android Pro Widgets) and launcher to System ROM storage. Is it safe to move 'em there? Or it will makes my phone slow(due to low space on system ROM)?
Try it out, I don´t think that it´ll be slower.

hold the desired app, then choose convert to system app
But this will only work with the Pro version, otherwise it´ll ask you to buy the Pro version.
Yeah, the options is available in PRO version.
btt: I've tried to move several apps to system partition, guess what. I faced several FC(LP Sense UI), and unresponsive Handcent SMS. looks like it lags the phone. Even lockscreen is lag, gotta wait for few seconds to view the lockscreen(from screen off).
Push the app u want to system/app with root explorer

i've flashed the recent gen y rom (win 6.1 + sense 2.5). but i've disabled sense and i'm not using any programs in background, like s2u2... i use standard wm dialer + wm today plugin from resco contact manager. nothing else is running in background. (i have 35-39% of used RAM in normal use)..
i ve tried cleartemp but it didnt help either.
please help.
What apps are you using? Maybe there is a lot of files cached to the main memory. Do you have a lot of files in your My Documents folder?
You installed Resco Explorer: look through the folders and watch there properties. Maybe you will find a folder that contains a lot of data?!
At the risk of filling even more phone memory, can you try installing this app to check it out?

You might have to uninstall something first before installing that app.

Hi is there a way to recover the stock cog 4.1.1 wallpaper without flashing again? (The blue diagonal wave) I'm not sure where the directory is located to assign it again. Its the nicest version so far imo. Help please.
Not positive but Titanium backup might have this available if you backup all user apps + system data. Obviously do not restore all user apps + system data. Instead uncheck everything and look for the wallpaper option.

I don't remember what Cog runs, but I'll throw in my two cents
Normally, wallpapers are found in Launcher.apk, but like I said, I'm not sure if Cog comes with Launcher.apk or if it uses TouchWiz. If it uses TouchWiz, I would assume it's in one of its APKs, though I can't tell you which one as I've always hated TouchWiz and now I don't have my phone to mess around with it (replaced by HTC Inspire all the way ~).
Try framework-res.apk in the the res/drawable-hdpi folder. Its called default_wallpaper. From the Atrix, I believe.

Cappysw10 thanks very much, this is exactly what I was looking for!
Hi! This is my first post!
I have some problem with app install.
First of all, not on purpose, I have moved market app to sd. Then that app, in app > all, is showed in gray:

}
After that I installed the app market from apk and it works again but I have another problem: I'm not able to install any app from market, not from website not from app. After download, when the install started, phone reboot.
I use this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475504
Thanks to all.
PS: sorry for my poor english
Try to reinstall Google apps. Sounds like something is corrupted there and best place to start is reinstalling gapps.zip then go from there! Good luck =)

I know now... but it's not my purpose... it was a mistake.
Hi,
I was using the task manager that installs with Go Launcher EX to have a look around and noticed that the torch widget/app that came with the stock GB install was running in the background. When I killed it, it restarted automatically and when I checked its permissions it had pretty much free run of everything (see pic - and that doesn't show the lot).
Now, I may be being paranoid, but this setup looks very suspicious for a simple torch app - anyone with more experience of such things care to comment.

Block those with Droidwall.
I don't understand why stock music player on ICS (and may be on GB too) can read email attachment, sms/mms ?
Yes, weird. I've actually frozen it with Titanium Backup and installed a free widget from the Play Store.
Earlier I was using moto G2 that had a stock android and I was able to disable all the google bloatware that I didn't use. Now I bought a new phone (Lenovo Z2 Plus) which has a slightly customized ROM (Almost looks and fells like Stock) and I am not able to disable apps. What could be the reason?

See the disabled option White'd out ??
The reason is the manufacturer and Google do not want you to disable them, also Lenovo says the ROM is specially made keeping in mind the preferences of Indian population, and I think we do use the stock Google apps (lot of people I know do). And is there any reason you want to disable them?

Are there any means to disable any app without rooting?
To disable there apps, you´ll need root.
There are at least two different app-directorys in the android system. apps in one directory can be disabled. apps in the other are "protected" and can´t be disabled/removed without root.
Some of these apps in the protected folder are requierd by the system to work. Still there are also many unnecessary apps protected and i can´t understand why.
