Hi!
I have a S.E. Xperia X2.
I had it in sonstitution to a not well working Xperia X1 from S.e. Assistance.
I thought X2 had same hardware as X1.
Yesterday i tried X1 Android ports on my X2 but it doesn't work.
It doesn't event start.
Haret writes "starting linux" and then, after some seconds, restarts my phone,
without showing anything of the boot sequence.
I saw X2 forum is pratically empty.
So i'm here to ask help.
I think the problem is in HARET configuration.
Can you help me to modify it to have at least kernel boot display on my X2?
I would try to make a personalization of your X1 ports...

The problem is that no one has hack the X2 yet (I have one too and Im saddened by this) I personally would like to try to hack it, but I dont know where to start.

Hi Guys,
My apologies if this has been posted already, but I couldn’t seem to find anything on it.....I have had my Diamond for about 2 weeks and the camera hardly ever works. 90% of the time when i start it all i get is the Photo logo and then a blank screen. If i push the capture button, a few seconds later I get the error "Unable to capture photo. Unable to get frame data from camera device". I have done the latest HTC official update to ROM 1.93, I have soft reset and hard reset and no luck Sometimes if I do a soft reset it will work for a little bit and then just stop working again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

you may need to install one of x-dev custom ROMs, or try hard reseting your diamond. if the problem still exist after Hard Reset, probably it is hardware trouble.
read read and read before you install Cooked roms from xda-developers. you need to do HardSPL before instaling any other ROMs

I have hard reset the device a few times, and no luck. I dont reallt want to install a cooked ROM, I dont think I can handle it to be honest. I will take it that it is a Hardware fault and I will be sending it back tmrw. Thanks again!
Hi Grim! I have the same problem. I've installed 1.93 official ROM and even SwiftBl 7.5, I've upgraded my Radio From .05 to .08 , but my camera is still like yours.
Have you find a solution? Did HTC service Center change your device?

This issue realy bugs me now. Every time I've change the OS it work for a bit then it dies. realy anoying. Anyones suggestion may be usefull.
If it is the hardware - is it the camera? Could it be just gone loose?
There´s few steps to take.
If camera works sometimes, I think, it´s not a camera problem on itself.
(IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO PARTS AND YOU KNOW WHAT U`RE DOING)
Try this:
Exchange flex and flash (use official RUU htc).
Or:
Put phone inbootloader, disconnect flex from board (while working and booloader on) and flash.
If everything else fails, I´m affraid the PCB has internal flash IC problems.
Dont have parts but will open it and check flex. If flash is gone how come mtty does not flag some segments as bad. Checking around the web looks like I am not the only one with this problem.

I've found out if you take the battery out for 10 secs and put it back the camera works again untill you run another app. It feels like as soon as you run something else with camera it is screwed!

i have a problem on my diamond. the g-sensor worked fine for a while, but now, it doesn't. dont know why! i installed the last ROM available on htc web site, but the problem still. i tried to calibrate it with all calibrating methods.. no working..
i think it's a driver problem. can anyone help me ??? please.

- teeter dont work, the ball still at the bottom left of the screen
- other games also (GSEN, GSEN CFG,...)
- It dont detect how i'm holding my phone, when i watch photos for example

i would suggest trying an older rom from htc, maybe there issues with the newer rom, or try a cooked rom from here, if either of them dont work then perhaps your diamond is damaged
Would it be possible to fool SEUS into thinking that an X1 is actually an X2 with old software, therefore installing the latest X2 ROM onto our device? I ask because with my old SE phone, I changed some sort of file, and it fooled SEUS into thinking it was a different phone, thereby installing a different phone's ROM onto my phone.
If we don't know how to do this, then a good starting point could be to figure out how SEUS determines if an X1 or an X2 is plugged in, maybe the device name...
No, if you managed to install the X2 ROM on your X1 that would efectively stop your X1 from working.
would you care to explain? (besides the camera, video out, accelerometer, and some minor keyboard diffs)
The X2 is manufactured by a different OEM (Mobinova) than the X1 (HTC) so there is no way to guarantee the lower level architecture is the same. Stuff like, touch screen controller, sensors, etc. could possibly be made by other companies vs. the components on the X1 heck, HTC even put the LCD into the X1 in upside down. Furthermore, the flashing method may differ. This is all speculation, the only way to be sure is to try. But I would estimate you would brick your device.
It's the same reason people had to crack a new Hard-spl for the X2, the two have different architecture. And that's just for the ROM.

If you try Android on your Xperia you will know what he is talking about. It is turned 180 degrees with some software modifications, so it seems to show right.

my touch hd screen froze and phone just hanged..i tried hard reset on my touch hd and it got stuck on align screen..(as i kept tapping screen to align an nothing hapnd).. moreover win mo 6.1 was a bad experience.. now i wan2 upgrade to win mo 6.5..i read a lot win mo 6.5 available here..as i am a new member of this site pls suggest a link to get new win mo6.5 for my phone and also way to install it( as i am a beginner)..pls help as my phone is standing dead right now..pls bring it back to life..
This is heppaning when no one read here in the Blackstone thread all is writen step by step guide and again the new members don`t read and prefer to kill the HD lol...

help..stuck on align screen even after rom upgrade..
after hard reset my htc got stuck on align screen stage..i upgraded my htc touch hd to a new rom..topix wm6.5 sense 2.5...it ws successful..but again after reboot the phone hangs on screen alignment step..i just keep tapping screen again and it never aligns..i cant get my phone started even now with new rom..pls advise what to do next...my touch hd is still dead..help me revive it...
If your HD is not responding when you try to align it, it may be that your touch screen isnt working, not that it has crashed. flash a stock ROM and try to be sure.
i think, your touch screen has broken, you can't do anything except replace the screen & touch screen with the new one.

Hi everybody. I have skipped screen alignment and my home screen opens with new topix rom wm6.5 sense 2.5. But again some of the touch feature works on the screen and some not(even at the same screen location!). Also on the home screen touch scroll, if i press any icon phone keeps goin to the last icon of settings and doesnt scroll back to home. Also the four feather keys below screen doesnt work. Hence I cant still use the phone..Wat could be the problem? Some say touch guard causes problem or the cables inside phone gets loose..Changing Touch screen of HD is very xpensive & nt readily availabl too..So i want2 try evrythin b4..pls answer..

Your post was 2 days before, i am not sure whether your problem got fixed.
If it is not.
1. Switch off your Device.
2. Remove your SD card
3. Press and Hold the Volume up and Down button, while pressing the volume up and down button, press the power button.
4. Now your screen will show whether to perform restore function, now press the volume up button.
5. After completion of the restore function your device will start normally.
6. Once your screen alignment done.
7. Switch off the device, install the SD card and just switch on the device.
if the problem is not found with out your SD card, then that might be some application issue or the SD Card issue.

Read about Task29 and read the dummies guide.
As suggested, try a hard-reset (or better use Task29).
If you still have the problem after that there is probably something wrong with your screen.

Hi guys..I am still stuck with my touch hd..even with new rom phone is just a showpiece..cant figure out wats the problem?? is the screen alignment gone or is it a software problem..touch hd touchscreen is v xpensive and my phone is out of warranty...so wan2 try anything n evrything if possible..pls help..for detailed explanation pls read my earlier posts!!! nd help help help....
Dude try to pay attention, download a stock 6.1 rom from htc web site, remove your memory card and sim card, hard reset your device and load the stock winmo 6.1 you downloaded. even after that if problem remains .. there is definitely a hardware problem then.
And first before everything else... what version of SPL you have on your device????

hello to all guys! excuse my English! The site is wonderful and I follow a long, but now on my WM 6.5 xperia x1 else is a big problem ... seems to be a hardware problem ... almost every time I turn it on (every 5 minutes) is just off the pool, as if there was a contact in a bad way .. and then every time I close the qwerty keyboard is turned off, but if I close slowly shuts down. Has it ever happened to anyone here?

sounds like a flex cable problem, which has been discussed SO many times already. You most likely need to replace it, the flex cable, at this point its just something to be expecting if you own the X1
