Hi,
Is there a way to connect to WPA2 Enterprise Wifi?
What about the method the manually edit wpa_supplicant.conf?
Try this app from the marketplace
WiFi Advanced Config Editor
It worked beautifully for me - I couldn't connect to my work's WPA enterprise with LEAP protocol until I used this software.
Now I get great WIFI connection at work!
Good luck.

Did you ever get an answer. I am trying to get a LEAP connection too! any info would be great.
Goto Junpier.net and search for Odyssey Client. You can register for a free 10 day trial. It's the same client that came on the Dell Axim. My company uses the same thing, and I've had sucess with it under WM5. A couple of small tips when installing. I've noticed if you deactivate the phone first, you have better luck with the program. Also, it seems that under WM6, I haven't been as lucky with the problem.
Hi,
I have just upgraded mi N1 to froyo with the official update.
I tried the tethering function and it works just fine except for the fact that i am not able to use the cisco VPN client from my laptop when connecting to the internet via tethering.
The VPN session works up to when it is already connected without any error but then it doesn't transfer any data.
Is the traffic filtered somehow? Did anyone find a workaround for this problem?
Thanks in advance

I was using CiscoVPN and now Juniper through N1's tethering, never a problem.
Check the connection - check that you have DNS servers and you can access public servers using ping, etc. From the laptop, I mean.
I finally got it to work.
The strange part is that it works when using WIFI tethering but fails when using USB tehtering.

Same here.
I plug in my phone and turn on tethering. I can surf the web. I logon to VPN and then it wont let me connect to anything on the VPN. I decided to try turning the phone in to a hotspot, this works, i get connected. I VPN in and poof! i can hit all the servers. ... anyone else run in to something like this.
USB Tether + VPN and I cant hit anything on VPN
Wifi Hotspot + VPN and everything works as it should

Cisco VPN software
Thanks
I had the same problem using USB tethering.
I found a solution:
- change at the Cisco client software the transport to "IPSec over TCP"
This worked for me fine.
I had the same problem with Hotspot and Cicso VPN, and the change in transport protocol to "IPSec over TCP" fixed it. Thanks.
I tried every thing but I am not able to reverse tether my wifi using ubuntu to my phone. I am using Nightly CM9 A99 with CK 0.4d kernel.
I have checked with old wpa_supplicant still not working
Please help
even I had a problem connecting to Wi-Fi,tried in both WPA & WEP security modes
but connects easily when Wi-Fi network is open.
I did reverse tether via windows vista home basic.
Hi! I'm trying to connect my friend's Razr i to our university wifi network. The configuration is: 802.11 EAP TLS, using a client certificate and a username, no password. The issue is that when I set up the connection and choose TLS as the security protocol, the settings are not saved correctly. In fact, after the connection fails, when I choose modify network, the security protocol has "magically" changed to AKA. I'm going crazy, I have already tried the Leap wifi app suggested in the Razr forum, but it only allows me to connect to networks with a password.
After rebooting, the network seems to be correctly saved but it just won't connect, it stays "Connecting..." for a few seconds then suddenly stops. That's it.
Thank you in advance.
Finally got it to work after messing around with all the settings. It's still buggy but it connects at least. I just can't figure out what could I have changed to make it work.

For some reason, the HTC One mobile hotspot is not providing DNS information to any connected device.
I get internet ONLY if I use ROM Toolbox Lite to manually set the DNS on the other Android device I'm connected too. Connecting a Windows PC to the mobile hotspot has the same issue, where a DNS server cannot be found. Manually changing the DNS server allows me to connect.
It's super annoying, and I don't really have a fix other than software on the connected device to modify the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8.
Is this an APN issue, ROM issue or device issue?

I think its fair that I bump this. I haven't found a solution yet.
