ThemeR Studio is a series of scripts built to make the lives of Android themers using Linux easier. As a themer myself I know the kind of work that goes into putting together a quality theme. I also know the troubles it can be to set up a workspace and all the tools we use to get our work done. It bothered me how much time and effort could be wasted setting up a place to theme, when that time could have very well been spent bettering our themes.
Now, you don't need to waste that time! ThemeR Studio scripts should be easy enough for those new to Linux to use with ease. Even an auto setup option that takes care of almost everything for you.
Features include
-Auto Setup
-Downloads & Installs latest Android SDK
-Installs ApkManager
-Installs ApkOpt
-Modified ApkManager with customizable compression & optimization levels
-Modified ApkOpt with customizable compression & optimization levels
-Universal tool set
-Installation of programs needed
-Build Workspace
-Backup & Restore workspaceExport & Import of backups to DropBox
-No need to add path variables for apkopt or apkmanager!
-More to come!
Has been tested and is known to work on the following distros:
Linux Mint 10
Ubuntu 10.10
NOTE: If you use KDE you will need to download gnome terminal for these to properly work. Firefox is the browser used for some links so they won't work if you don't have it.
If you have used these on another distro please let me know if they work or not so I can add to the list
Please make sure you don't have the directory "/home/your_user_name/Android" because this is where these scripts will write to.
Disclaimer: These scripts are provided as is with no guarantees, if you choose to use them you do so at your own risk! I will not be held responsible for any damages or losses that might occur when using these scripts.
TO USE
Open the zip with your archive manager, and drag the folder "ThemeRStudio" to your desktop. Open it, double click "setup.sh" and choose "run in terminal"
Download ThemeR Studio
I put a lot of hard work and long hours into these scripts, I hope you enjoy!
Enjoy!

Please be aware this is BETA software and is by no means finished. I am very limited with free time right now I just wanted to get something out for you too use and I am aware of whats missing and whats not themed but i am open to change so if you feel something could be better please give me your feedback. WHEN I feel I have themed enough and its ready it will be posted on the android market for ease of updates.

Download Optional Metamorph zip for blue progress bars and one image for the ROTARY lockscreen
Please be aware that morphing puts the files/images on the phone and into your ROM and the only way to remove them is to reflash CM7 or restoring a previous NANDROID BACKUP. Without this morph your progress bars will be ugly yellow there is nothing i can do about this since the theme engine doesn't cover everything right now so this is the way it has to be done and i suggest doing a NANDROID BACKUP before you apply it just to be safe and to easily go back to your original setup should you stop using the theme.

Also i do this for fun in my spare time i just like to share and i have no graphics experience whatsoever i'm still learning everday so if you feel its not up to your standards it its simple don't use it.

SENSE Bootscreen Changer v1.0

Hi everyone!
This is my first post here at the great XDA forums! Please bear with me if i made a mistake!

Features
-> Ability To Change Bootscreen Of Sense Based Roms(only SENSE ROMs)
-> Checks Whether The Selected File Is A Valid Bootscreen File Before Replacing
-> Backs up Current Bootscreen File To The Folder /sdcard/SenseBsChanger/Backup
** More Coming Soon! **
What is Sense BootScreen Changer actually?
Well, as the name suggests, its a Bootscreen changer for HTC Sense based roms.
There are many apps for this purpose! Why did you made one?
There maybe many other similar apps! But none of them seems to work on Sense based roms since the location where the bootanimation file is stored in these roms are different. I've installed a Sense based rom on my HD2, everything was perfect except the bootscreen! I tried some bootscreen changer apps but they didn't do the trick! I had to manually replace the file using root explorer. Since i was a n00b on these kinda things, it seemed kinda hard  but somehow i managed to get it done. It gave me an inspiration for making a simple app for this purpose because there could be others like me who wanted the same but failed!
Why SU Permissions are asked?
Because the bootanimation file is stored in the system directory, SU permissions are needed to replace the file.
Why Internet Permissions Are asked??
The program sends anonymous usage statistics about each released version to my server. The information sent does NOT contain any user specific data/personal data that can be used to trace back you! It just increments execution times on my server!
Backup Can Be Created But Can't Restore!??
Sorry! that functionality will be added soon! This was actually a learning exercise for me, this is my first android app! I'm a windows developer & i didnt had any idea about linux systems or android! I've started to catch up & further updates will be made soon as i learn more!
Feature Requests/Bug Reports
Feel free to report bugs or errors! Since this is my first app, there could be a ton of bugs! But, i've tried my best to release a stable version on to the public! Please suggest for new features also!
Tested on Android 2.3.5, should work on all greater versions!
Download APK File
-Thanks!

Good program... bout where I can take different Bootscreens?
Thanks Zlatomip! BTW, you can find bootscreens all over the forum! The best thing is that, you can use bootscreens for other phones also, just make sure that they're of the same resolution as HD2! Here is a link.
And this is my first "thanks"

[GTK Theme] ElementaryOS(LUNA) / Ubuntu Theme.

Info:
Ok so.... I got my laptop set back up on ElementaryOS. Typically I love the way this distro looks but for some reason I felt a little tired of the light UI. While trying to find themes I couldn't quite find anything that fit what I was looking for. So.... I decided to make my own! It is based off of the stock ElementaryOS Luna theme but has been reworked for the inverted look. ITS DARK!!! This is literally my first attempt at doing a theme for any full linux distro so I'd expect issues but I haven't found anything I can't live with. Just thought I'd share. Feel free to give it a try and let me know what you think!
Install:
This was built for ElementaryOS but should work on any linux distro that supports GTK themes. Most of you probably know how to use this if you're on linux but if not its quite simple. First make a directory in your home folder named .themes ( /home/yourname/.themes ). Once you've done that simple download and unpack the theme into that directory. Now if you do not have it installed do a Google Search for "Ubuntu Tweak". After Ubuntu tweak is installed open it and select the theme from the > tweaks tab > themes > GTK Themes. Good to go!!!
Download: Download theme from here!
Release Notes:
3/3/2013 - Initial release (may or may not update).
Instruction weren't straight forward. Computer now making waffles, bad ones.
Lol... Nice!.. Honestly using themes on Ubuntu are pretty straight forward as it is. A simple Google search would get someone the information they need on how to apply the theme once downloaded. If anyone actually wants me to print it all out I will update the OP when I've got a few free minutes.
Hey buddy good job on the theme. However, all computer related posts go in the link below.

[Theme][P6810XXLPP/XXLPS] Less Touchwiz, More Holo

Why?
Because in my opinion Touchwiz is really ugly and outdated looking. Replaced many icons/colors with stock Holo ones, replaced all the cheesy rounded borders and gradients with hard edges and flat surfaces, made many things grayscale. Colors should be used for emphasis, not cluttering the whole interface for no good reason.
Why XXLPP/XXLPS/4.0.4?
Because for my needs Jellybean 4.1.x is a step back in functionality. They added lots of stuff that is useless for me (eg. multiuser), and made stuff I really need way more difficult (eg. mounting CIFS on /sdcard).
What is themed?
Settings.apk, SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk. Everything is treated with OptiPNG/DeflOpt/JPEGOptim and zipaligned.
How to install?
Do a Nandroid. Flash the .zip in TWRP or CWM. Wipe Cache/Dalvik. Reboot.
The XXLPP version was made for SkyHigh ROM P6810XXLPP ICS v4.2 - I don't know if it works on stock XXLPP. If it breaks something, just reinstall the backup you made earlier. Maybe it works on P6800 too, but then you have to remove the assert(getprop) line in the updater script.
The XXLPS version was made for the stock ROM.
Optional: The Dummy Files pack contains dud replacements for all the annoying audio and animation crap Samsung packed in their ROM. This is not a flashable ZIP (because I was too lazy to create the updater script ). Unpack the archive, mount /system in recovery, push the folders manually, and chmod the files to 644. Then you're rid of all the pings, clicks, wooshes, and plops that Samsung found cool to have in their interface, without any option to turn that junk off.

Nice work. Thanks for sharing
Think I'll give it a go, but real busy right now. Downloading for later
BTW, I see from your screenshot that you're using an older kernel. kernel is updated today to v2.8.0
Sent from my GT-P6810 using xda premium
Cheers, UpInTheAir - thanks for the heads up.
Sure is a nice kernel you built - upgrading to the newest as we speak. Too bad you discontinued your ROM, but it's nice as it is... (I, for one, don't care about synthetic benchmarks at all - I only care that games and movies aren't laggy and choppy. )
Oh, and v0.2 of my theme is up for grabs in the first post as well.
Added a theme version for XXLPS and audio/animation dummy files in the first post.
