I have installed SiMi Clock from market, but i cant find it in widget menu..
Any one got same problem, or solution?
Thanks
Make sure it is installed to the phone and not the SD card. Widgets don't work if they are in external storage (unless you are using Apps2SD).

Hey my htc weather app wont find the city I'm in. The htc clock widget just says my location(or current location, i forget) for the weather. When I open the weather app, it seems as though most of the cities are in asia. I can not get it to find my location. The weather app version is 7 and the size is 176KB according to the application manager.
I have back ups of the stock system that worked but I dont know how to open them and pull the apk out.
Any advice on why this isnt updating and I can set my location?
Well this htc weather app is 7 and the stock 2.1 is v.3. I tried pushing the v.3 to the phone but I don't know how to make it work. When I pushed the v.7 back to the phone it reappeared

I have a Motorola Droid, and I have rooted and installed CM 6 on the phone, I have some widgets, including the Power widget, and whenever I restart my phone, all of the widgets have the semi-transparent box with the words "problem loading widget". Is there anything I am supposed to do to make sure this doesn't happen, or is it a problem anybody else is having?
Do you have power widget on sd card, if so will have to move to internal storage or that will happen everytime restart phone

Thanks for the quick reply, my power widget was on the phone memory, but I use launcherpro, which was on the ad card, and switching that to the phone memory fixed my problem. Thanks in you for your help

Hi I recently had to factory reset my desire hd. Today I opened the car panel and the navigation button is greyed out, and I cannot find the application in the app draw. Does anyone know a way to get hold of the .apk or can anyone post it up. I still have the map files on my SD card.
Thanks.

Try adding the Footprints widget to see if it gives you the option to redownload locations, I had a similar problem and that did it for me,

I don't have a footprint widget in my list of widgets...

Well I put the locations widget on the home screen and got into the navigation, and activated my free trial (something I didn't do before, or have to do) and the icon is no longer blanked out. However I'm sure there was a direct link to the map application without having to go through the car panel.
Thanks for the help, looks like footprints has been combined with locations etc.

Sweet so the app is there, are you still missing the locations app in your app list?
try going to: settings -> location -> reinstall (under location service)
this reinstalls the htc locations app
I reinstalled it for a second time and it is now functioning and the icon has been restored, thanks for all the help guys.

I noticed this too and came to the forums for an answer, however I found my own answer.
I believe it's related to the apps with data stored on your SD card. When your phone boots up it takes awhile to check the SD card, by that time it's already checked for the icons for the programs in your games folder.
A quick solution is to hit the personalise button, then the first option marked Scene, change the scene, change it back and you get your icons back without having to drag them back out
Had the same problem, for me closing the folder and reopening it solved the problem, but it is a pain!

You can also reload your launcher as well. If your HTC Incredible S is stock, just kill HTC Sense. It will restart automatically.
