I have a problem , my red light started to appear a week ago , so I started doing some research , after that I thought ... let's swap the battery with one from an X10 , so I did , the X10 powered up with my battery but my X1 didn't .
Could it be from a hardware failure ?
Should try do to a ROM re-patching ?
Any advice ?
Anyone ?

i have g1 and recently bought 2 new battery's but g1 is not charging them
it gets very hot this problem occur even with my old battery
this problem has occurred many times before but itself starts working after sometime but this time.......
it only once showed light on key pad then dead nothing happend

If the new batteries arent being charged, then something is wrong with your phone....which is beyond me. Open her up and have a look.

I got a problem with my x10
My phone was charching at night
The next morning it wouldnt start
Now it still wont start or boot or even connect to my pc or something so i bought a new battery in case of problem with the battery but no results.
Does somebody know a solution or maybe a program to boot it by pc
I thinks its the software because my led will blink red a few times
My battery is fully charched

You had entered to wrong forum my friend. This is X1 forum, not X10.
I am still using the 4.3 update from Sony on my XPERIA SP
lately i've encountered a problem with my Phone when the battery reaches around 40% it bugs down .. resetting and doesnt work while the SIM is in the unit, when you remove the SIM the phone is usable again
while using my mobile data a couple of days ago my phone automatically restarted ( with a battery of 50% )
it keeps restarting when my charger isnt plugged in...
i depleted the battery to see if it would fix the issue
here's the situation of my phone :/ ....

my SIM and Micro SD are not in the phone when i recorded that video
i charged it for 2 hours and instead of what happened on the video i now get a green light from the LED and the "Sony" logo appearing...
fades out .. backlight still on with a black screen... then restarts :| ...
i tried fixing it through SUS as well... no luck
btw... my phone isnt rooted

May be you need to download flashtool for Sony Xperia devices, correct ftf files of both 4.1.2 and 4.3 for your device region and flash older first then flash new version.
If problem continues, its got to be hardware.
Hi ! My friend's Xperia T has a strange problem. When holding the power button to power on a red light is blinking . After hours in the charger still the same.Before that happened , he would notice random rebotts ONLY when the SIM card was inserted . I have tried to repair via PC Companion , when the software is ready the phone isn't detected .I tried holding the power button when connecting , the phone vibrated once and a green led turned on. The update started and after a minute it suddenly failed . I think it is the battery
