*Wildfire 2.2 Froyo Official Update out now!*

As the title says the official update of Froyo 2.2 for Wildfire is out!

Phone is up to date ??
Its debranded and im using a 3 sim card.

im using 2.1 and it ont OTA update to 2.2

I can see that some people have problems with updating...The only thing you have to do is to:
1)restore to your stock ROM,if you have flashed your phone in another custom ROM.
2)update via software update in your phone in 1.25.xxx version..
3)do the same thing for the update 1.37.xxx. version
4)and finally update it to froyo

you could try to restore it if you've done a nandroid backup before installing a rom.

yes i done a backup buts i thinks my backup is 1.37 so will i be able to install this ?

Yes, i think you can. The only downside is that you'll loose root privileges.

i dont care about root and it dosnt work

Please can anyone tell how to upgrade htc wildfire from 2.1 to 2.2 with official build in simple steps .I am from India Bangalore. I have WiFi connection at home and when i go to settings ->about->software update -> check now .
It says no updates found .

There is no update for 1.14 released till date, no one knows why. If you want, you can get 2.25 official from here:

But you will still have to root your current firmware and then install that. That guide is here:

If you do not wish to do these, theres no way. Contact HTC, and, Wait till they release.

I have Incredible S (s710e)and using RUU_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.30.405.1_Radio_20 .2808.30.085AU_3805.06.03.03_M_release_199308_sign ed firmware. I upgraded in May and there is no update since May.
Could anyone tell me this is latest ROM for my device? or which rom latest released would be useful for me
Note : I bought from England. Device has no any brand and simfree.
Rom Build Number : 2.30.405.1 CL88716 release-keys

That is the latest WWE build for the S710e IncS. This has been reports of a Gingerbread 2.3.5 version with Sense 3.0 interface that will be available in the near future. The Desire S has already begun to receive this update, so it is only a matter of time before we see it on the IncS.

i already root my device and using custom rom on this site..
now i need to revert back n want to received any OTA update like before..please guide and advice me ...
i need ICS official update for my device...
i'm from malaysia,
please provide me the suit RUU or stock Rom for my country to download..
Really need complete guide to revert back and want to received any official update back....

There is no official ICS OTA for the IncredibleS yet!!!!!
As for the noob question, you should SEARCH this forum first because there is plenty of information about reverting back to a stock ROM.

As soon as an ota update for ics is released there will be a stock rooted version of it available to download in the dev section. I promise you.

You are just going to have to wait for an official HTC ICS ROM for the IncS just like the rest of us!!!
If you are tired of custom ROMs with bugs, then you just need to go back to a ROM based on the HTC Sense 3.0/Gingerbread 2.3.5.

Hi, the version of ROM here has support for Arabic language, and it is also the one of the most stable ROM's out here, and it is also based on the latest Official ROM (ICS 4.0.3).
In order to install it i recommend using my tool from the signature and the mini mini tutorial found here.
(Note that this tutorial was explicitly written for devices with ICS already installed and hboot 1.28, but you can easily change hboot and all those things following the tutorial down, and using the tool provided by me)
