[Q] Benchmarks, Captivate vs Nexus One processor? - Captivate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Captivate with Cog 4.1.1, Firebird 2 kernel, and JK4 modem.
I just ran a Quadrant Advanced benchmark on it, and was really surprised by the CPU score of the Nexus One.

Why is its CPU score so much higher than every other score? Am I missing something?

Quad doesnt mean alot to our device as it was built for the snap dragon and not the hummingbird that we have. The N1 has a snapdragon built in.
Please dont worry about Quad scores as they can be inflated and not mean anything at all. Use real world feel to judge.

But the mirror is the best part
Well i havent OC'ed it too extreme yet, so far at 3.55Ghz (stock is 2.66Ghz) and running Prime95 Stress test the cores only peak at 45C and usually remain around 33-40C
So far so good!
Shiny. How's your heatsink surface?

I have a kernel that goes up to 1.152MHz ..someone.. can't remember who released, but was later changed to 1.113Mhz again.. I believe it is because of stability issues, blah blah.. it's dangerous.. blah..

That is what I used to have^
And then there is that kernel for 1.2GHz in the development sectiion..

These are kernels that allows overclocking. As far as I know, for N1, no one has the guts to OC a $500 phone higher than 1.1.
IMO, OC'ing Droid higher then 1.1 (which doubles the clock) is a completely crazy idea.
There's just no way you can double stock speed without any side effects.

Quadrant Pro

Anyone bothered getting the pro version of quadrant so they could test individual areas, and get a broken down score rather than the overall score the standard version gives?
It would be nice to have a break down of the different tests and how the Nexus compares to other devices in them.
Nobody?...
i find it interesting elaborate more are you saying its not giving accurate on standard btw who makes quadrant is there a website from where i can get in touch with them i had a question about these results
I have Quadrant Pro on both my N1 and NS. If I get home at a reasonable time today I will run it on both (with latest CM7 nightly) and will post the results.
N1 running CM7 nightly #7. Keep in mind the kernel that comes with the N1 version of CM7 is more optimized than the NS version and is over clocked to 1113mHz. N1 also has no SIM card so non-wifi services.
NS running CM7 nightly #5.
Each phone benchmarked several times. Highest scores below.
Quadrant Pro:
N1: 1527
NS: 2448
Check out the bottom of each image to see the score breakdown.

Same phone setup as listed above but with Smartbench:
N1:
Productivity Index: 1197
Game Index: 1288
NS:
Productivity Index: 1238
Game Index: 3196
