Hi guys
Couple of days ago i have flashed darky's v9.3 which came with voice recorder.
On the first flash when i was talking on the phone, voice recorder could only be activated when i would press on it.
But now...when i answer the call or i make one...voice recorder automaticly starts recording, which is a quite pain in the as*...
How to disable voice recorder's auto start during the call or before that i hate it now so much...it's killing me :-(
Any suggestions please<3:-V:-V

It's a part of the 9.3 feature, called call recording (tweaked phone.apk), do some search in the darky 9.3 thread.
I know it's a feature man...but now it starts automaticly when it didn't do that before.

Sure it didn't do that before, just because it wasn't include in the rom before.
Just disable the 'call recording' fonction. How? simple hit the search button, it's all here
Are u kidding me...how the hell it wasn't included in the rom before...did you read my post....i said i was on v9.3 with that option...

I have the some problem... cant turn the recording option off... and I havent found any hints in the internet ... neither with the search button
Got the same issue, 9.3, before you have to press the Record button to start recording. I applied the no_increasing_ringtone patch, and it started to record calls automatically (Incoming/Outgoing). How do I disable this automatic recording thing? without disabling the no_increasing_ring?
Found this. . .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967297
This is anoying for me too, I made a custom Darky's 9.3 Final with Phone.apk from 9.2 wich doesn't have this auto voice recording turned ON by default.
If you guys are interrested in it, I could upload or you could do this yourself at home.

Is there a way anyone has figured out how to fix the FC'ing issues other than deleting it? I really like this feature, and it's already come in handy with my job and referencing previous conversations. I've tried to fix permissions and what not but still I get a FC warning when a call comes in but it stills records?!!? Any help would be great! Thanks

It has been mentioned a couple of times in each of the BAMF threads. the call recording app requires additions to the kernel. if you do not leave the rom on the default (or another BAMF) kernel, call recording will not work.
I have the same fc. I'm using kernel shipped with rom. When receiving incoming calls I get a fc but it still records. Makes it hard to answer as well, but the conversation ends up in the app with null instead of a number.

I'm using the kernel that shipped with the ROM as well...I was reading up on that in the other Bamf threads but I'm stumped.
ditto on wanting the call recorder nice feature
-bump-
Are any of the people having issues with CallRecorder using any 3rd party apps during the call?
Apps such as Mr. Number (blocking phone calls, or any similar app), etc, seem to interfere with callrecorder.

Exactly same story for me. Has anyone heard or seen any more info regarding this? I really want call recording but the FC is annoying.
Thanks!
Mines working I've been doing full wipe of cache, data, and davlik or w/e its called x 2 each time I install. Maybe try that?

Kernel issues ?
Just delete it and re-install it.
Use astro to install the app

I've been using RocketDial and Call Recorder has been working flawlessly and un-noticeably. Case in point, I forgot about that feature/app, and when I happened to open up the Call Recorder, I notices all my phone calls were there, two days worth.
What a cool and handy app. Hopefully I will never need it, but as the saying goes, better to have and not need than need and not have.
Have great Mother's Day all!!!

Try downloading the latest Adrynalyne kernel. I believe it was released today. That could fix the fc problem you're having.
Anyone know how to have the music player not look in the recorded calls folder when adding to playlist. Really nice app but annoying when I have shuffle all on and I start hearing my recorded calls instead of slipknot...lol. I use subsonic and there is a option to have the built in music app to not scan that folder.....

Try adding an empty file named ".nomedia" to the folder.
I use an app called "Backup to Gmail" which backs up (and can also restore to my phone) all my SMS, MMS and call logs to my gmail account. It would be awesome if there was a way to backup each recorded call from the Call Recorder app to my Gmail account in the same email as the call log backup so the recorded call is an attachment to the email.
I know that would use up a ton of data, but maybe there could be an option to only backup the calls when connected to WiFi if people need that.
Is building a backup to gmail feature something that is possible to do with the call recording app?

If this was a built in app on a previous phone, just look around the internet for a system dump and pull the .apk out of /system/app
I flashed my XT862 to XT883 ROM, the stock dialer comes with a build-in call recording function that works very well. Give a lock to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1249720
as the thread title states how to use two way call recordinf feature in nAa-08 kernel.........i didnt find it in settings................. can anybody help
U may find it somewhere in tha settings. Or there must be a app in the market. Search for two way call recorder
Can't find it too...searched everywhere with no luck but some apps from the market works like a charm
whats the function of two way rec? n why is it against the law in some country? ?
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
you can record both sides while taking to phone (your voice and the other side's voice).
until now you could only record your voice and the other one was very silent.
It's against the law to record phone calls in some countries. At least without letting the other side know he/she is being recorded.
Yeah I'm also curious about this feature from the nAn-08 kernel. I've tried some from market and found none that I like. Would love to have some native recording capabilities with MiniCM.
Now you have that option in the last release of Alf Kernel

there was no such 'option' in the gingerbread.call some one and make sure that person is already toking to someone else.wen u call that person,"call waiting" will pop up on your screen so that u understand that the person was toking to someone before answering ur call.there is no option to enable or disable it.but if i call someone from my ics dialer it doesnot notify me with "call waiting"..if the otherbperson is talking.hope u understood.
Goto Setting>>Call Settings>>Voice Calls>>Call waiting - Check this to enable.
However, please understand that this is a network dependent feature, call your network provider and understand.

Try the following
Call Dialer -> Options -> Settings
The call settings is not present in the general android settings.
Goto Dialer >> Settings >> Additional settings >> Call Waiting - Check the check-box
However, please note that this is a network dependent feature.
Call waiting is there but i am not able to switch between two calls.. and i guess call conference is also not available in ics right?

Call conference is also available in ICS, while you are on 2 calls you would see a merge call icon. again it is a network dependent feature.

There is a new option, but it may not help u if u r using dock in the car..for normal usage, when the contact is displayed on the screen, you need not to dial the number..u just need to move the phone near ur ears & it will automatically dial that contact.."direct call" option under "Settings>Motion"..sorry, if u already know this
hmmm.. when the contact is displayed on the screen, there is a green button to call as well.. the motion doesn't work when the log is open
Actually this motion is not available in this kernel i think only the normal motions like pan to zoom turn to mute and so...thanx any way

I don't think it's kernel availability. it's on the latest 4.0.4 update like ddlr9 or lrq/lrt
