Donkey Kong.. original arcade

After about an hour of searching this forum, and many links for games and emulators from this forum, I cant find the only games I really want. The classic arcade version of Donkey Kong, and the Legend of Zelda. I know I could probably have the both of these with a nintendo emulator, but the 5 or so links to download different emulators never worked. Does anyone out there have a working .bin emulator file, or just the games themselves. Thanks.

There are more emulator games on the site. You just have to find them.

Would have been exactly what I wanted, but they dont work with the Kaiser. Always prompted with "file error". Thanks.

Thanks... I'll try again, but it seemed the java that they run off was conflicting with my phone.??? Are you running an Emulator with them, or just straight off the website?

Have you tried Pocketnes? I have a few hundred games that all work flawlessly. Which rom are you using? There are a few roms that it wont work with.

I'm not using one yet. Everytime I install one, it never works, or just doesnt download.. I'll try pocketnes though... don't think I've tried that one. Thanks.

I have PocketSnes, but I can't get Roms to work, when I load them they freeze my device. I tried Killer Instinct and The Avengers, anyone know of any issues with these.

I also have pocketSnes and have both those games running just fine, most likely your rom. Which are you using?

But i did manage to find a copy of zelda thats a stand alone java application.
Try searching for zelda+winmo+java maybe.
Sorry dont have time to upload it somewhere for yea atm.
My kid is a huge zelda fan - Its NOT for me. Thatd be quake2

Have you tried MAME for PPC? It's called MAMECE3:

I imagine it shouldn't have any problems running an older game like Donkey Kong!
As far as the original Legend of Zelda goes, have you tried PocketNES?:

Of course, finding the ROMs is a question of legality.. You could try building a ROM dumper and dumping the contents of the chips in that old Donkey Kong arcade machine in your garage.. (you know, the one sitting next to the box with the old Legend of Zelda cartridge in it!)

seeing as NES and GBC have been ported over, as well as MAME, and others which aren't coming to mind right now, I believe that it should be able to be ported
(would be awesome btw )

i kno but i mean like its such a big game with all the diffrent chartors... lmk if this ever gets ported since gs2x is in the works

Games on Cyanogen and Dwang

Has anyone noticed that games that previously ran fine on Cyanogen now run horrible on both the latest Cyanogen and Dwang roms?
The roms themselves run (nearly) flawlessly so I was curious how a game would run slower.
Thoughts?

I have not had this issue... all of my games run perfectly fine.
If it is a 3d game, you know those do not run on dwang right... they should work fine with cyan's rom though.

I can't remember which game I initially tried, it was a space shooter. Not 3d. Next I tried iDracula (I loved it for the iPhone) and it ran about 1fps on Dwang and about 5fps on Cyanogen.

If possible you might want to use the Rom Im running/ See info on my signature. Everything is as good as it can get at the moment. Im pretty sure Cyanogen is probably going to make the next release like this Rom release to please us hopefully.
not 100 percent sure if you CAN downgrade however. Use the search feature...

Downgrading should be like flashing any other rom.

What games are running slow for you? I have noticed bad fps in Parallel Kingdom, but I thought that the game was normally like that.

I only began to care about this when iDracula ran horrible on both these roms. It saddened me greatly. Such a fun little game.

Fpsece soooo slow, why?

Hi guys,
i downloaded Fpsece 0.10 for my Xperia X1.
I saw a thread about it and how it performs on games like Driver.
Well, the thread says that you can get up to 35 frames with Driver.
But the highest i can get is about 13 fps.
Soo, do i have to install any patches or stuff like that??

well never used it but if it's optimized to use the nvidia gpu which some games are then not really much you can do

Their is already a thread on this. Search this in the search engine: New FPSEce v0.10 !

Not sure what's yr problem. But at least you should list what game you tried to compare. I tried FF9 on my rom and got ~40 fps for movie and 23-30 fps for game play.

I tried the Game "Driver".
And i get about 12-13 fps, unplayable.
Not sure what im doing wrong, but id be happy if someone tells me

Have you tried different ROMs? Your ROM maybe the issue

when its in portrait im getting 30-35 fps but landscape is virtually un-playable for me (8-13 fps) sorry

Just not all PSX games are supported.

I think you'll get your questions answered faster if you ask it on the X1 thread in the FPSCE forum

also, depending on what ROM you are using and what programs you are running, the game will perform terribly

i have found if you close out slideview (i used taskfacade) it runs a little faster

[Q] Splinter Cell Problems on Gingerbread?

Hey guys - i'm a huge gameloft app fan, probably like alot of other members here but i'm having this 1 problem that alot of persons with the nexus seem to be having with Splinter Cell Conviction HD- when starting the game you see black textures everywhere in the background.
now originally, i didnt have this problem untill i made the move from froyo to gingerbread. i want to know if there is anyone here who uses gingerbread and has splinter Cell conviction HD working properly on their HD2
need feedback to know if its the ROM or if its the Android Ver.

Works properly here, Typhoon 3.1.0. Try not to overclock your mobile, that could be it.

Yes, this problem exists with CM7 on HD2... Works fine on HTC roms, though...

splinter cell works fine on my rom - BOYPPC-SHIFTPD GINGER_Sense.S & HoneyComB V17
