Is anyone experiencing a bit of a lag while running a few of the games? I'm curious to what would cause this. It happens with Angy Birds and Galcon at the moment for me. Specifically right before I launch a bird with Angry birds. With Galcon it just runs a bit sluggish.
i've had some lag on angry birds. If i exit the app and start it again the lag goes away.
I've had music and other things running with no lag, so i dont think its the processor bogging down. It must be a software issue
I did notice angry birds lagging but only when the upper-right corner ad pops up. If you leave the app and come back in the ad probably won't be there which would explain why you don't lag when that happens. My fix?... rooted the xoom and put on ad-free android to block the ads.. no more lag

The last few days I've noticed while i'm playing moblox light and every so often a video ad is poping up and taking over my screen. It's very hard to tell if the game is any good because I grow tired of the ads after one or 2 levels; it pops to browser then youtube (video?) player I hit back and the level is restart. My gf is playing angry birds and is getting the same thing.
Is this working as intended? If so is there a way around it? I'm all for supporting devs, and I'm fine with ads, but this seems excessive.

If your phone is rooted, you can look for an app in the Market called "Adfree Android". It replaces your /etc/hosts file with one that points all the advertising servers back to 127.0.0.1, effectively preventing the ads. May be worth a shot to fight back against the intrusive ads.
My NC was upgraded to 1.0 and rooted with Auto-Nooter 2.12.25.
I have no issues with audio lag when playing properly converted movie files in Rock Player (using hardware decoding) or the System Player.
However, I have noticed audio lag in the following situations:
1) The page-turning sound when unlocking the screen (comes about a second after the screen has already unlocked);
2) When typing (the keyboard click sounds lag significantly behind my actual keystrokes);
3) In games - both Android OS games and games through various emulators (sound effects lag behind the respective onscreen action).
Anyone else notice this kind of lag with their NC?
Screen Unlock - Yes I do have delay
Keyboard Click - I never heard my keys click now that you mention it.
Games - No lag at all
I also have the 1/2-1 second delay in audio for most games.
Same experience in angry birds and videos using rockplayer. Using arcmedia the video quality is slightly degraded but the audio is much more in sync. I do the 10 sec buffering.

WOW, I am going to have to really check mine out again and see if I just didn't notice the delay, but I can't recall any trouble with Angry Birds.
If there is a delay in games, I wonder how it could be corrected?

Angry Birds was one of the first games I noticed it in. When a bird hits an object, you don't hear the crash sound until a second or so later.
Hopefully, there will be a simple fix for this . . .
I'm using the 1.1.0 NC stock ROM rooted with Auto Nooter 3.0. I have spare parts installed and compatibility mode enabled. I've noticed that a lot of the games I've tried to play have about a half second of sound lag between when a sound effect is supposed to go off and when I actually hear it. I've noticed it in the following games:
Angry Birds
Angry Birds Seasons
Bejeweled 2*
Zenonia
Anyone have any ideas for possible solutions?

I have problems while playing a few HD games like Temple run and Subway surfers. When I start playing the game, it lags a lot. When I close the game and start it again, it runs smoothly. It is totally random, some times it lags and some times it doesn't lag one bit. It is really annoying to restart the game 2-3 times just to play a game peacefully. Anyone else has this problem? I really want to fix it. Help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Ram manager scripts or task manager installed? Probably your device runs out of ram and it cleans the ram up.
Change your Rom. I don't experience this lag on my currently used Rom.
Device: GT-i9000
Rom: JB 4.2.1 C-RoM Mix v4
Kernel: Mackay 0.232

I don't play many games, so I can't say if it's a persistent problem or just Candy Crush fault, but when I initially launch it lag can be seen, but after minimizing it and re-opening lag is gone. Any ideas why it's this way and how to deal with this ?
