Hi all,
i have been using this forum for some months after I got my amazing android phone. I am happy there is finally competition for good phones that are not iphones. I do not like apple's way of doing business and definitely the smugness of most people who get an iphone and think their coolness has gone off charts.
You know what I mean? People who have a need to show off their iproducts in public? I am so happy i have an android. Android people are so much fun to talk to and cool to discuss wasy to improve their phone.
Apple's best product has been the ismug What do you think? do you know what i am talking about?

that is so true! i personally appreciate the quality of apple products, however i believe that apple products are incredibly overpriced, and their biggest advantage is their biggest downfall: Apples iron grip on their software
Lemme tell you a short story.
I am on a trip to Athens the other day and,as everyone in a large city,I used the subway to go to my destination.Entering the train,I found a seat next to a guy who looked like being 20-25 years old.He didn't seem geeky at all in fact.I sat next to him,but then he did something he shouldn't have.He pulled an iPhone 4 out of his pocket!Oh sh!t.There was also a girl sitting right in front of us,in a seat looking towards us.She told him "Nice phone you have there"(She had an old Sony Ericsson btw).He found a chance to show off then.And then,after I had lost my temper,I pulled my Galaxy S 2 out of my pocket and started playing with it.He looks at it,his eyes go wider than usual and awe was obvious in his expression.The girl(a beauty in fact) turns to my side and says "Your phone is nicer than the iPhone".Then I started to show off.The games,the screen,the effects,everything was better.That iSmug next to me turned white and got off at the next stop.The girl and I had a...nice time after that btw.
And what's the moral of the story?Android ftw!

Doesn't work here in the NYC metro. I whipped my G2 out playing some game and blasting my music so everyone could hear, but then I look around and everyone has an iPhone out. Only a few android devices. And crap, I was gonna flash a new rom tonight.
I'm a Mac user, but I LOVE Android, and Linux ... I'll go into Apple stores, and show off my G2x.

This douchebag in my boy scout troop once compared his 80 gigabyte iPod to my 2 gigabyte Samsung YP-T9. Another person pulled out his 8 gig Nano and harassed me about mine being inferior. Got into a fight and quit scouting for good. Mine had an FM radio and Bluetooth.
I had the weirdest dream ever last night. Suddenly I'm in the middle of this war of angels. I don't know what the war was about or why. Only a sense of brotherhood united us in the fight. Then came a period of peace, and all the angels were lined up including myself, in front of us were this group of humanoids with heads of dolphins. They were tapped into everything that ever was, is, and will be (they can tell truth from lie). Then came a question to all of us: "Will those who came into existence after the original registry please step forward?" I thought to myself "the truth shall set me free" A girl next to me and I stepped forward. The humanoids analyzed us and said we were truthful. The girl and I then acquired this angelic blue glow. I was the angel with power over earthquakes and the girl had some strange markings on her face. I do not know what her power was. So then we were directed through a gate that closed behind us. The moment we stepped in I saw legions of blue glowing angels being exterminated. "They're killing us" I screamed and we started running for our lives. Earth governments, the other angels (original registry), and the earth elements were all against us, and soon I found out that the only way to survive was to plan 2-3 steps ahead of them and fool them, and that is how I have survived to this day. Then I woke up. Very unsettling.
All I dream about is being at work

I had a dream that my phone's bootloader got unlocked, and what do you know! It's unlocked, baby!
So I am a true Android geek. Been on Android since 2009. I have dev'd, themed...its why I love Android. So I have started collected as much Android stuff as I can...have gotten custom glass blown of an Android as a gift, Android stuff toys, and the Andy Series.....then I found out a co worker of mine is a very talented artist. I had her draw me a 12x24 painting of my 3 fav sports teams and instead of players, use Androids. Came out amazing. Ill have to get another pic as the light in the room put a lil glare on it.
So after we had our daughter, I wanted to do something special for my wife and our 3yr anniversary. She is a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan and Im a huge Android fan. So I ran with this idea to the same artist and then she produced another master piece. Wife loved it and she is a Apple fan girl. What ya guys think? Also, if you want anything done, I can talk to her to see if she wants me to share her email info so you guys can hit her up for your own custom stuff.
