I have Auto-Nootered (3.0) my 1.1.0 NC and didn't have the option of Live Wallpapers until I started using Launcher Pro and Zeam, at which time it magically appeared. But when I choose a Live wallpaper, the screen blacks for a half-second and comes back asif I had not done anything, with no activation of the wallpaper. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the .apk, downloaded several different LWP's, and re-booted numerous times. Any ideas? Also, there is no Task Killer running.

Live wallpapers work fine for me but I've noticed that sometimes, they get overwritten by the stock normal wallpaper. Seems to happen most after reading a book on the NC. But something is happening sporadically that is causing the live wallpaper to go away. Ideas?
Some load for me. Some don't. Trying to get WP Clock to work for me put it animates in then disappears.
I've got a NC running 1.0.0 that I ran autonooter 2.12.25 on to root it. I'm currently using Zeam as my launcher. I have it set for 3 screens at the moment and the first wallpaper I used I remember scrolling as I went from screen to screen. I've since updated my wallpaper to other images and it seems that I've lost this scrolling capability. My most reason wallpaper has dimensions of 1280x800 and it doesn't scroll.
I've tried going into Zeam's settings which mentions having scrollable wallpaper. Setting this option on or off does not seem have any effect.
Anybody out there experience this or know what I might be doing wrong? I thought the wallpaper simply needed to be > 1024x600 for it to scroll.
Minor annoyance, but I kinda liked the feature.

Try updating to a wallpaper thats 1024x1200 and post if thats scrollable.
I also find that, if you select the wallpaper with the stock launcher & then switch back to Zeam, the wallpaper is sized better for the NC.

Use a wallpaper that is 1280x1024 and set it while in landscape mode. That has worked best for me.
I've tried 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 wallpapers but haven't seen any difference in behavior. Strange.

I've found that if you load the wallpaper into the wallpaper folder on your NC's internal memory and then use the stock launcher to change the wallpaper it works best. No idea why, but it does. Put the same picture in the pictures folder and it does not look as good. Again, no clue why.
How do you set live wallpaper on the Nook Color? I've rooted my Nook (firmware 1.1) using AutoNooter 3.0 according to the instructions at nookdevs.com/NookColor_Rooting. Market installs are enabled, and I can download them. But If I hold on the home screen and select Change wallpaper, I only see tabs for Wallpaper and Photo Gallery - no live wallpaper. If I have soft keys on, menu doesn't do anything when I'm on the home screen.
Live Wallpaper IS working on my Nook - I installed Polar Clock Live Wallpaper from the market, and if I go to Market -> Downloads -> Polar Clock Live Wallpaper -> Open, it gives the usual instructions to home -> menu -> wallpaper -> live wallpapers. But there's also a button that says "take me there", and if I press that, it takes me to a screen listing all the live wallpapers I've downloaded, and I can set them from there.
Is there a more direct way to set them?

Edit: Forgot to mention you probably just need to install the LiveWallpapersPicker.apk.
I tried that, but I still don't see any way to choose them. I even put LiveWallpapersPicker.apk on a web site, and installed it through the browser. It warned me that it was already installed - I let it install anyway, but I still don't see an option if I choose set wallpaper from the home screen. Should it be another tab? Is there a way to launch LiveWallapersPicker directly? I don't see it in extras.
Do you have a homescreen replacement app? I use ADW Launcher and in the settings I have the option of choosing a live wallpaper.
I played around with it, but found that it was screwing up the Nook's functionality too much. When I had a live wallpaper installed I could not search the Android market nor launch a video from the Weather Channel app. I might look into it further at some point, but for now, static wallpapers will do for me.
I'll second that 3rd party launcher idea. I don't know if that's what you want to do or not, but I use Zeam and my wife has the stock launcher and I can do it straight away on mine and can't figure it out on hers. The BN launcher is a bit limited, it seems.

Absolutely loving this phone since I bought it. One problem I've found is that I can't get live wallpapers to work properly. I've tried using Nova Launcher, Action Launcher and the stock launcher, but I can't get live wallpapers to scroll properly. I tend to use KLWP a lot, but it seems stuck between multiple pages and won't scroll.
When using Nova Launcher, Force Scrolling doesn't help at all. I've tried setting the wallpaper as a static image, to a live wallpaper, back to the live wallpaper in every combination but I can't get any success.
I've tried installing the stock LiveWallpaperPicker.apk to no success.
I've tried enabling magnetic sensors in KLWP, but didn't notice any change.
Has anyone had a similar problem or found a solution?
Title says it. I have a nice Nova Launcher setup on my S21 Ultra (TMobile), but every so often I would see a "Wallpaper applied successfully" while using an app and when I go back to the homescreen, my wallpaper changes to something else. The image doesn't even look like it's on my phone. I don't understand why it's doing this and I don't know how to stop it.
The dark themed image is what my display is intended to look, the other is what it'll change to. I thought Zedge was the culprit but no. I thought Samsung's wallpaper setting, doesn't seem to be that either. Any help would be appreciated. I'm willing to even factory reset my device

Do you have any other wallpaper apps installed? What makes you think it is Nova launcher applying the screen?
You might get logcat set up, and if you can make it reset the wallpaper, the log should tell you what is doing the reset.
I don't have that problem and I use nova launcher. I have a different wallpaper for the lock screen and another for the regular home screen
@GeekasaurusWrex what types of widgets are you using? I really like your setup.
I was using live wallpapers from Wallop and was having the same issue! But switched to a downloaded image and it hasn't happen since. I think it might be an all setting the wallpaper being the issue. Try to download it from the app and then let nova set it
