Wiimote is working, what emulators are you using? - Nook Color General

Well the Wiimote is working and I am ready to buy up emulators. Im just curious which ones everyone is using.
I currently have N64oid, NESoid, SNESoid, and GameBoid. They all seem to work well except for the current limitations of N64oid. I have limited success running games on this one as you will see from other posts on this emulator.
Is anyone running FPse?
What are your favorite games?
I am loving using the Classic Controller w/ the Wiimote.

has anyone used Wiicontroller with gameboid?

has any one had success connecting a Wii Controller to the eris? I have Wii Controller IME paid, and it succesfully connects my wii controller but when i try to use it with gameboid, it does nothing. But it says the controller is hooked. And yes I've tried all the other apps to use Wii controller(paid and free).
I've tried a few different times, with different roms and different Wiiremote apps (there are 2, or were...) with limited to no luck whatsoever. From 2.1 Sense, Vanilla, or Cyanogen to 2.2 Cyanogen and Cyanogen/Aosp. It worked one time half assed, but I don't even remember which configuration I had. I was using Nesoid too, if that makes any difference. I really can't even run that all that well, even overclocked to 806 so I usually don't play it much.

really?I can play pretty much all emulators(except psx havent tried) at 768 max. but okay thanks for the info
Maybe it's just the particular Nesoid version I have or rom. I've really just wanted to play Contra and have never had it playing smooth enough for my taste. I really don't care to play games on my phone a whole lot though as I am kind of old school. I want a TV and a real controller lol. I still play NES all the time as I am a Tetris master and like to keep up my skills. I haven't even tried any other emulators so I dunno about them.

Gameboid on NC

How well does the Gameboid app perform on the NookColor?
Beamed from my DroidX
it works fine for me
There is like a free gameboy emulator by Tiger. Just search Tiger in the market. He produce a bunch of free emulators. It's almost like Gameboid. It does have some capabilities issues with some games though.
Seems to work pretty good for me, but I'm boring and only use it for tetris...
Works great for me, along with nesoid and snesoid.

Thanks for the replies! I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a Nook Color.
Does image scaling work well with the GBA emulators?
I cant seem to get me roms to work. I got the bios and games from some app that you coulkd download alot of roms from but when they start up I cant do anything. I have no control or buttons and cant figure out what to do.

PSX4Droid or SNESoid?

I had both of these on my gtab, cant get them to work on xoom... they open but when i pick a game it goes to a black screen then back to game select
anyone get these to work?
The most recent version of SNESoid Lite works fine for me. I've been playing Mario RPG lately without any problems, and I played Mario World the other day with my Wiimote Classic Controller connected. I just grabbed it off the Market and haven't had any trouble yet.
I know the 3.0 version of psx4droid was crashing on Tegra chips (or maybe just the Xoom), but the latest version (3.0.5, put up today) attempted to fix it. ZodTTD has said that he doesn't have a Tegra device so it's been hard for him to debug, but you can keep an eye on his site: http://www.zodttd.com/wp/
Edit: Just tried psx4droid and it crashed on me, so it looks like there's still some issues with that one...
i have snesoid full 2.2.2 and no dice, but the lite version thats 2.4 works, ughhh
I just coughed up the $4 to get the newest version from the market and it worked, on to beating super mario world again
oh, and I had psx4droid running on a old version 1.7 on my gtab im trying that now, will post results shortly
psx4droid v2 1.1.2 works on my Xoom fine, along with Snesoid 2.2.4.

Awesome, I am contemplating getting a Xoom but I am a bit worried about compatability of some programs.

I've been playing it for about 30 minutes now, using the wired xbox controller makes it SO much better vs trying to tilt the xoom to go where I want.
Go to Google and type in Slideme. Download that market (you don't need to sign up to download apps). I ended up picking up Gensoid, Gameboid, GBCoid, Snesoid, Gearoid and another one for free. The dev who makes those apps is yongzh.
I have all of them. Hopefully that helps.

Game Controller?

Hi everyone.
I use my Nexus 10 for TONS of things, and one of them is playing emulators on the go. Very very cool stuff.
To any of you doing that, what kind of controller are you using? Bluetooth? USB?

Ps3 controller with 6 axis controller app. Its the best imo. You can also find mappings for the more popular games and emulators online or make your own.

just got the Snakebyte iDroid for $25 and it is awesome. Works great with all the emulators, I have been having a blast playing Zelda 64 lately. You don't need an app to use it, my son uses it on my wife's iPad without issue, runs about a week on one charge, what more could you want?
Ps3 Controller, or the MOGA PRO which is what i have and i LOVEEEE THIS FREAKING THING SO MUCH
