Use TitaniumBackup to backup your fav apps.
Contacts, calendar, etc will be backuped in your Google account.

Well i got that, but how will Titanium Backup find out which "SD card" to use as the restore media?. Considering part of the 8GB from the LG counts as one SD card, and an extra SD is considered to be external storage.

You can manually change your backup folder in titanium settings
I have no idea what mountpoints are called but
It should be something like /sdcard/TitaniumBackup or /sd-ext/TitaniumBackup

These are in no particular order
I flashed cm7 nightlies and I don't understand the new folder structure. What is "mnt" and "emmc". Where does cwm read from? And did my ext. SD-card get formatted?
It seems my battery life is worse, while speed has improved. Should I flash something other than the rom? (My bb is 622)
What are the main advantages of using cm7 over stock?
Any way to flash the LG stock camera?
Is there a way to search for topics within an xda forum? (Using the app)
Thanks

EMMC are your internal sd, (in stock mnt/sdcard)
Sdcard are now your external sd (in stock /mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD)
Cvm reads, by default, from external sd
Cm7 does not touch your external sd
I dont think it possible to install lg stock camera app

About LG PC suite: probably pc sync is not installed on Rom, or you haven't updated your LG pc suite to latest version. If there is no LG pc sync on phone, you'll have to wait for official ICS.
About sd card problem, you probably forgot to create external_sd folder on internal sd.

if it is only for files, photos and other sync related things....try using MyPhone Explorer....I have been using it since the time I bought this device....works perfect.....contacts,messages,pictures, files and all that....through wifi, bluetooth or USB
try it mate.....you dont need PC sync...which is slow (in my opinion) and also bulky....and most importantly MyPhone Explorer is simple and easy
Hope it helps

Hi uguro. If you want to transfer "GAMES" data I recommend you to download GL2SD (gameloft-to-sd). It's compatible with almost all games (even if they are not from gameloft company) and it will move your data to SD without any problem and saving a lot of space on your phone. On the other hand, if you wanna move apk to sd, you can try Link2SD. You need to make a 1GB "primary" partition on your SD card in ext2 format (I'm using "Mini Tool Partition Wizard Home Edition" on windows to do that) and let Link2SD to mount it after rebooting your device.
Hope it will be useful.
Hey uguro you can move all your apps to sd card if your phone is rooted.
Download titanium backup and titanium backup pro(key license) both of them requires root permision.
N u can dwnld key license from blackmart alpha.
I thought Link2SD didn't work on this phone.

Note: You need root access.
As you know, all big games are installed automatically in you internal SD (phone memory), I try a lot of apps (link2sd, etc) but it doesn't work, the solution: use this app developed by an XDA member:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262
It's very easy to use, the only trick it's that you have to maintain pressed the path field to browse your phone folders, I recommend that recreate the folder structure of your internal SD in your external SD, copy all the data files and create the binds.
I test this app in stock ICS. and stock JB 4.1.2.
This is too old and bugy
Use foldermount for better result

It work flawlessly to me and it's free, foldermount free version have the restriction of 3 binds.

I often have this problem when I've got too many cwm backups. They don't show up in the statistics of system storage but take about 1-1,5 GB each. Delete a few if you don't need them. Otherwise it's hard to say what is eating up your space.

Why would you run your backups to the internal memory? That's what the external SD Card option is there for.
