These are in no particular order
I flashed cm7 nightlies and I don't understand the new folder structure. What is "mnt" and "emmc". Where does cwm read from? And did my ext. SD-card get formatted?
It seems my battery life is worse, while speed has improved. Should I flash something other than the rom? (My bb is 622)
What are the main advantages of using cm7 over stock?
Any way to flash the LG stock camera?
Is there a way to search for topics within an xda forum? (Using the app)
Thanks

EMMC are your internal sd, (in stock mnt/sdcard)
Sdcard are now your external sd (in stock /mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD)
Cvm reads, by default, from external sd
Cm7 does not touch your external sd
I dont think it possible to install lg stock camera app

Assuming you are rooted, how are you trying to find the folder?

Using Root Explorer I am unable to find the proper folder for this hack.
I can find it no problem on Phiremod 5.1 installed to internal.
What ROM are you running, and is it internal or external?
Where do you struggle (can you see any of the folders)?

As my sig says I am running 0.6.8 NookieFroyo on SD. I don't want to write to the eMMC so I can boot stock or a custom ROM.
I can see the folders but there is no init.d folder in the etc folder. Do you think I can just add it?
Sorry man, I don't see your sig via Tapatalk...
Just adding an init.d folder won't help, unless your system has something looking for it. I'm not sure how the SD roms are built, so you may want to try and contact the dev...

If you just want the boost and don't mind paying then you can always search for "sd card booster" on market

You can do it manually... open a file Manager, go to system>etc and open volb.fstab as a text... then change "sdcar0" with "sdcard1" and viceversa!

i think this app shows you internel storage as external sd
so look if there's a setting that allows you to swap the "mountpoint" (got no better word right now ) of the app, so that it uses your real external sdcard
i don't think that app to sd is possible with stock ROM and stock KERNEL, test it but I think you wont succeed ...
Note: You need root access.
As you know, all big games are installed automatically in you internal SD (phone memory), I try a lot of apps (link2sd, etc) but it doesn't work, the solution: use this app developed by an XDA member:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262
It's very easy to use, the only trick it's that you have to maintain pressed the path field to browse your phone folders, I recommend that recreate the folder structure of your internal SD in your external SD, copy all the data files and create the binds.
I test this app in stock ICS. and stock JB 4.1.2.
This is too old and bugy
Use foldermount for better result

It work flawlessly to me and it's free, foldermount free version have the restriction of 3 binds.
Hi all, so far I am a little disappointed in CyanogenMod for 10.1 for the nook HD. The main reason I rooted the nook was so I could save apps to my SD card (8gb internal doesn't cut it). Also I have been having problems with the tablet now getting stuck in a lock screen cycle. Does anyone know how to move apps to the SD card, or why I get stuck in the lock screen cycle?

Apps2sd is not supported in CM10.1 on the HD/HD+. But you can go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature and flash my SDswap zip for official CM10.1 and it will make it so you can have your media files on external SD by default. That will give you more room.
And the lock screen issue is probably the magnet in your case. There is a bug in CM10.1 where you must open the cover twice before the unlock will work.

Man that's disappointing. I have two users are can't fit all my apps in. Why does Cm10 not support apps2sd? I feel like that should be a standard thing.

No, CM10 or CM11 don't either. To get more room for apps, move some of your media files to external SD. That is why I suggested the swap. Media files and apps share the same limited space on emmc. And for the 8GB HD that can be tight.
And the reason apps2sd is not supported is the default sdcard (internal) is emulated and is actually a part of /data on internal. That is why it shares the same free space as apps. So it would not free any space to put apps on the emulated SD.

You have 5GB of apps installed? That's how much space you should have with no media files. You could have some big game apps that store their game data on the internal SD. Those count as media files and can be moved to external SD with the swap.

Looks like I have to be rooted to install your file. Is that true? I haven't rooted anything since, I think it was a Samsung Hero.

Well, then yes, you have to be running CM to install that file. But I have a version for stock that does not require you to be rooted. Go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature.
