Help Problem installing GApps - Hero CDMA Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay so I rooted and flashed my rom, no problems. I used Z4 root to root the phone. and im running Cyanogen 7 RC2. No problems there. But I go to ROM Manager and and go to install from SD card and try to install the google apps. It does everything right up until the point where it says "Wecome to Hero200, Press the Android to begin." It wont do anything but keep showing the Cyanogen Mod Boot screen with the Blue Android on the skateboard. I cant figure out what Im doing wrong. Can anybody help me?
Edit: nevermind. Figured it out. The GApps that I was trying to install was outdated. Problem resolved

nexus one market issues, PLEASE HELP :(

i recently noticed when i try to download any app from the android market or update an app it will act like its starting the download but then never actually start it. im running the latest cyanogen rom. i have tried wiping and reflashing the latest cyanogen rom and reflashing the google apps addon. i have tried restoring to a previous backup when the apps were working in the market. i have tried flashing a non cyanogen rom even. nothing i can think of (my thoughts are limited since im fairly new at all this) and still no success. i had the same problem on my g1 with cyanogen and i somehow managed to get that working again by trying similar things but no luck yet with my nexus one and its really upsetting me. any ideas on how i can go about fixing this? thanks for all your help. i have also tried uninstalling the market updates and signing into other google apps like talk to try and jump start it on the advice of someone from another forum.

[Q] How to install on CM11?

Hello happy new year, i see Cyanogenmod 11 comes with a superuser tab so i assume it's rooted, but root checker says my device isn't rooted.
I tried installing it anyways and rebooted the phone, no errors. But after i rebooted i saw a forum post saying i could get my phone bricked if i run xposed on an unrooted phone.
So i unistalled it before running the app again.
What should i do? Can i just install xposed with CM 11 as it comes or i need to do something else first?.
I've used eRoot with GB, ICS, JB with no issues but it doesn't work with Kitkat, so i'm not sure if i should just install it or what.
I really want some modules but i don't wanna break the phone :c
Installing Xposed on non rooted phone can't brick your device simply because root operations can't be done.
Xposed needs root access for installation process.

Click to collapse
Go into developer options and make sure root access is set to apps, or apps and adb.
Common sense isn't all that common
Download set up first and then run the file after complete it.

[Q] Before I make a total balls.....

I thought I would search for help on XDA but there does not appear to be anyone who has the problem I am facing.
I want to update Android Revolution HD, or go back to stock or whatever, BUT, I have just noticed that TWRP seems to have gone.
The M7 is unlocked and running ARHD 71.1 with TWRP and SuperSU.
Having decided to update I was making some backups and doing a clear out and I tried to open SuperSU.
SuperSU said it wanted to update, so I wentb through the steps to update SuperSU using TWRP.
Trying to update SuperSU using TWRP tells me 'No apps configured'
Now I am worried about the best procedure.
Should I go back to stock and start again or re-install TWRP or what?
I thought I would ask for some expert help before flying off half cocked and getting everything to go tits up!
Expert advice would be most appeciated.
Regards
p.s. The TWRP folder and backup remains although the app has pushed off.

need help with at&t note 3

Hello everyone... I just bought at&t note 3 unlocked version. Problem is that its on kitkat 4.4.2 and doesnt show any ota update so can anyone please provide me a link of stock rooted at&t lollipop rom which i can flash and root method with a proper guide please? I would be very thankful.
What you do is root what you have, install Towelroot https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952593961 (open the app and click "make it rain" and it's rooted). Install Supersu and Busybox, then Safestrap https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952593962, open it and install it and this is rooted lollipop http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59666958&postcount=2. Just one thing, (not saying you will) but flash the OC1 Kernel in Safestrap before you leave Safestrap. " 5. Flash the file called "SM-N900A_OC1_Kernel_Safestrap_Installer.zip" which is located under /sdcard/OC1_Kernel/ "
Hey Rooted, i have a 1.39gb file on my ext sd card called SM-N900A_0C1_Lollipop_Rooted_rom.zip, is it safe to delete this if i already have rooted oc1? or do i need it to flash safestrap? Also, for the past few weeks my oc1 rooted note 3 has been randomly rebooting itself in the middle of me using it, then entering a bootloop until it successfully boots up. Then sometimes when it successfully boots up, it reboots itself right when i put my password into the lockscreen. Sometimes clearing the cache doesnt help, i clear it multiple times for it to work. The other day i clicked the end button on a phone call, and right when i ended the call it rebooted itself. im lucky it didnt reboot during the call, i was on the phone with a towing company lol! Any idea whats going on?
If it's rooted, yea you can delete the file then. Do you have Xposed install, flash anything else with Safestrap, did you do a clean install of the Rom? When did the rebooting start, after you installed an app?
I do not have xposed framework installed, i heard its not compatible with the oc1 root. I never flashed any custom rom, im running just a stock rooted rom. Im not sure exactly when the rebooting started, its been going on for 2-3 weeks, i cant remember what i did before that. Last night i swapped sd cards to make sure it wasnt that, but i already had 1 random restart today. Do you think swapping sim cards is a good idea?
