[Q] Before I make a total balls..... - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I thought I would search for help on XDA but there does not appear to be anyone who has the problem I am facing.
I want to update Android Revolution HD, or go back to stock or whatever, BUT, I have just noticed that TWRP seems to have gone.
The M7 is unlocked and running ARHD 71.1 with TWRP and SuperSU.
Having decided to update I was making some backups and doing a clear out and I tried to open SuperSU.
SuperSU said it wanted to update, so I wentb through the steps to update SuperSU using TWRP.
Trying to update SuperSU using TWRP tells me 'No apps configured'
Now I am worried about the best procedure.
Should I go back to stock and start again or re-install TWRP or what?
I thought I would ask for some expert help before flying off half cocked and getting everything to go tits up!
Expert advice would be most appeciated.
Regards
p.s. The TWRP folder and backup remains although the app has pushed off.

[Q] Error message when accessing SuperSU

So yesterday I decided to root my HTC one, after the 4.3 update.
After I unlocked the bootloader, I couldn't root using TWRP because the touchscreen wouldn't work when I booted to recovery. I figured out that I was using an old version TWRP, and once I updated TWRP it seemed like everything was going to work. Now I have SuperSU (updated to the newest version via app store) on my phone but when I try to open the app I get the following error
"There is no SU binary installed, and Super SU cannot install it. This is a problem!
If you just upgraded to Android 4.3, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device"
Uhhhh any ideas on how to fix this? This is the first time I have tried to root so I don't have alot of experience with this. I can't post in the Dev page because I previously had been a lurker and never really posted.
same problem
Same problem here.
I have T-Mobile HTC one that I convert to Google play edition.
After the update to 4.3 I lost the root.
Please help.

I'm not sure what you mean. I can boot into recovery and get into twrp, and now that I have the new version of TWRP it the screen will work. I'm not sure if that answers your questions or not.

Titanium backup crashes, busybox too, up a creek!!

Hey all,
I thought i would try to update my HTC one that was on Android revolution HD.
I backed up everything using TWRP and titanium backup however when i come to RESTORE ANY app it immediately 'stops working' so i cant restore anything at the moment.
i thought i would try to update busybox but that just restarts the phone immediately either with smart installer or normal installer. i think i had to get R/W access last time but im not sure on how to check and how to do this and believe me i have looked!!!
please any help im desperately trying to get everything back ive spent soo many hours now pulling my hair out!!!

[Q] help on ota update (rooted but locked bootloader)

okay so I tried the ota for lollipop so many times but always 'cannot install update' pops up after reboot. I read a few threads here and I learned that the best way is to install a stock firmware then update to LP. btw my phone is C5502, i installed superSU but i have it permanently unrooted and was successful. Also i installed busybox but uninstalled it now. I have a foldermount but it's not working since i have no root anymore. Plus my phone is still bootlocked, i guess. anyone can help me what to do since I cant do flashing without a computer. I'll really appreciate some help here.

I'v this problem too but i get over it by updating by sony pc compination
OTA will often fail if you have changed anything in the system.
Root, uninstalled a system app so to do a OTA you will have to undo the changes and also se that there are no left over files.

HTC one m8 problem with super su.

Hello!
I'm rooting noob.
I've got a big problem with my phone. I have rooted my device some time ago, now i want to go back to stock. When i choose supersu option to fully unroot nothing hapend. After reboot, supersu is still there. I tried to flash zip with newest version of supersu-nothing. I tried to remove supersu manually it doesnt help either. Supersu seems to miss some of the libaries but when i try to instal it via twrp it shows no md5 file found error. Is there any easy way to return to stock? I mean something like clear all phone memory and just flash stock rom? Getting to fully operating root its also fine.
Go easy on me, im learning hard way. English is not my native language so sorry for all the mistakes i made.

Google didn't not ask to restore phone on first use please help :(

Hello,
I did everything normal i booted the phone and filled in everything.
Logged in to google and it asked if i want to backup this account and i said yes. but it never asked to restore from a previous phone.
After this i updated the phone to the latest stock rom still nothing. i then did a factory reset and still did not ask me to restore
I also can't use titanium backup because my bootloader can't be unlocked for another 70 hours and therefore i can't flash twrp and magisk
I was thinking about kingoroot maybe but it's not systemless and might give me problems in the future :/
Does anyone have some advice?
Thanks
Well i just tried kingo root both the apk and then the pc version but neither worked...
