[Q] Problem with charging?

My htc kaiser , which has been through alot of flashing , and re installing ROMS etc in the past few weeks , wont charge through my wall charger anymore. It only charges with a USB straight to my computer , or ps3. Can someone help me find the issue? If it was a usb connector problem , shouldnt my usb charge not work????

Most likely your wall charger is broken.

HAI everyone.. please help meee.. really2 need help.. my x1 have a problem..

2. but cannot charges my battery.. - when i pluq adpter it show charge in screen.. and the indicator charge light also show..
3. but the battery ruin down.. not charge..
4 now i just put my x1 in the frames off picture... or charge my battery with external chager battery outside
i read many post in here.. i just try everthing.. but still dosent help..
1. red light show under power button when i pluq usb to charge.. sometime it off and came back on after 10 second..
2 i just replace a new usb cable,adpater charger and buy a new battery.. still same problem..
3. the usb can detect in pc.. can sync with pc.. but cannot charges my battery.. that mean my usb cable is ok.. apdater can charge anther phone.. ok.. battery i just replace new.. but.. still have same problem..
please anybody in this earth can help mee..

I had a similar problem with the X1, you need to get it checked out. Since my X1 is out of warranty, I visited a local mobile repair shop where they informed me that the problem was because of moisture in the handset, probably due to sweat. They fixed it without having to change any component. And touch-wood my phone is working great.. Hope this helps.
Post a reply for others once your problem gets resolved though.

tank you my friend.. my x1 also is out of warranty.. the problem i dont want to send my x1 to local mobile shop is i dont trust them.. because i have tragedy with my other phone.. its can on still can use,but after send to the shop my phone currently dead forever.. the motherboard have broken.. what shoul i do.. i jusk ask all mobile shop in my town.. they say the Power IC have broken.. that means the hardware.. now i just use external charger to charge my battery..

X8 not charging pls help :(

Hello. I've used my phone and charging and at one second the charge stops and do not want to charge anymore at use. I've use GDX i turned off my phone and its going to charge. But i wait few time the phone is not charged, but discharged.
It's difficult to start charging so pls help me my USB cable is new.

maybe u can reflash again..for last option
after flash kernel - backup thenn dont forget to
factory reset, wipe dalvik, battery stats
flash ROM
done

I done this but i use stock kernel

Try to charge with usb PC, maybe not cable broken, but the carger.

cz its work on my phone

Today I went to a shop in town, I saw two person who do noise because that their phone (Xperia x8) does not charge, and second time it came to warranty, so it's something hardware.

maybe turning off ur x8 and charge will help.

Have you tried to Repair through Sony update service ?

i had this problem yesterday my battery was 5 % try to take off the battery and then place it back hold it and connect the usb so it can charge again i did that and it worked you may need to move the battery up down so it can connect it worked for me try it and tell me.

I nave this problem too..just put to charge and wait 30-1 hr

maybe charger broken or have u tried to connect with pc?
if it charging with pc it is a charger issue...

I get charge problem on many roms. Sometimes is my cable the problem, but i just reboot phone and my phone start charging

the charger isnt broken cause if u try different it wont charge its battery fault i think

hello friends,
i have xperia x8 phone and it was very good till today, at first when i connected it to my pc via usb cable to transfer data from sd card as usual, it didn't work but only battery started to charge .. after that i charged it to 100% then i found that the battery drained the charge to 5% in approx. 30 mins, it is hot and it's not charging anymore neither from the wall charger nor the usb cable ..
can any one help me please ?​

are you sure it's a battery problem ?? transferring data via usb cable also doesn't work !

well battery drained to 5% in 30 minutes then surely its battery problem....& its not even charging with external charger as u said

is it really battery problem?? , this actually happened to me sometime because my PC USB port doesn't work properly ,, i got UMT with my X8 disconnected ,, however , the battery sign shows charging but the real thing is the battery is draining like h*ll (2x) !! ..

i'm not sure (one of my friend said its the cable issue),,.. i tried this,, let it drain until 0% , then recharge normally with charger , i got it work for sometime,,, then it happen again when i connect to the PC..

Drain your battery until it shutdown and charge your phone fully without turning on your device and goto CWM,advanced and wipe battery stat and rebbot your phone continue charging to 100%.
Or
Use universal charger for charge your battery
Or
It may be the problem from the current custom ROM so undo back to fresh eclair 2.1 or try other ROM
Or
Maybe the problem of the cable try another cable
Or
Buy a new battery
THERES SOO MUCH WAYS TO TROUBLESHOOTING!

i tried another battery, also it didn't charge and it drained the charge very quickly
i made restore to my last well worked rom, also nothing changed
i have to mention that the usb cable i used last time i felt electricity at it's end, so i can guess that there may be a problem with the charging socket ..
any way thank you every one for help

Probleme with charge battrey

Hi friend after a hours my phone xperia z c 6603 work normaly charge normaly iam at a stock rom i updated it only via ota i have android 5.1.1..now when i put the cable charge in my phone to charge my experia i cant see the led on its off when i restared the phone its work again and the phone charge normaly when i put out the cable of charge and try to put it in ly phone the phone wont charge and the led is off...noticed that the phone not dammaged or any thing i dont flash anything to my phone i have just whatssap in my phone and vedio and photo no app more so what is the probleme help meeee

I vave the same problem, when I put off my phone and charge it when to phone is off it charge but the percentage change every second from up to down and down to up. I made some photos when the phone is on and not charging the percentage go up and down and down and up. Really strange. I just updated from 5.0 to 5.1 orignal stock firmware. Doed someone knows a solution. Also my phone shut down sometime like its low battery but the battery is still 40%

i hav the same problem

For your information, my xperia died, he doesn't boot anymore, if I plug in the powercable he don't charge, he boot but falls out directly after, so he is stuch booting. downgraded it to kitkat but still does the same problem (If I connect with USB I can still flash a rom with sony flashtool)
I think the battery is dead, I'm going to try to change the battery, ordered it online but must wait 3 weeks to receive it.
If anyone has a solution or don't think it's the battery please tell me, I want to fix this problem.
