[Q] Lower ringtone all of a sudden - LG Optimus 2x

Hi Guys
Just got my Optimus 2x and I've noticed that if I have an incoming call the ringtone will be as I have set the volume, pretty high..
The 2nd incoming call the ringtone will be lower, way low (and I've not been changing the volume)
Have any of you tried that with your LG??
Other than that it's a cool phone..
Take care

Is the phone with the display faced down?

No..
It's face up..

Mobile phones don't have dial tones, unless you have a Jitterbug phone. You are hearing some other tone, or maybe the sound you are hearing is a byproduct of some part of the phone. For example, on the older model Motorola V3's the EL keypad backlight would emit a low volume tone when lit. Does your "dial tone" stop when the backlight dims or shuts off when in a call? If so then you are hearing the backlight. Most people can't hear it because it is above the range of normal human hearing.
If it is the backlight you are hearing you cannot increase the sound. It is what it is.

i think i expressed my self wrong.
when i want to call someone and i press his number and then press the call button u should here a sound that the phone is ringing (on the other side).
and that ringing sound is very silent.
is there a way to increase the volume on the ringing sound.

If turning the volume wheel does not do it then there is no way I know of.

not just 'a bit silent' then?
no it is realy silent .jou can hear it but if you hold your phone 20-30cm from you ,you cant hear it .
also when putting it on speaker you cant hear it.(because then you are more than 30 cm from your phone.)
when the pickup the sound is fine and loud.
I have the same probleme with my blackstone and its very annoying. if there is some noise you cant heard dial tone when you call someone.

Ringing

Hi!
When I calling somebody, sometimes I get "English" sound ("brr-brrr" instead for "tuuu-pause-tuuu") of calling signal (despite I'm living in Sweden) and it is very quite. When my call is answered sound of speech is normal. At first i was increasing volume while it was ringing and when other side answer it is way too high level and I had to decrease volume. Irritating!
C'mon guys and girls, nobody has the same problem?
Still hoping for some help

[Q] Ringtone volumne

has anyone had any problems with the ringtone volumne on the HD7, and if so were you able to increase the volumne
There is a problem in that the volume is quite low. The way I got around it was to put on my own ringtones, which I recorded at a higher volume, using chevron ringtone manager. Did the same for some alerts and alarms and now I can hear my phone in nearly all noisy environments.
Hi,
I have the same problems. Mine is very quiet, barely audible. The rest is OK. Maybe there is software problem but I do not thing so. After change ROM nothing has improved.
I've tried chevron but it doesnt work. i cant get ringtones

First ring very low then rings normal. Any fix for this?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've noticed (as I'm sure many of you have) that when receiving a call the first ring is so low it's almost inaudible. then ring #2 on the phone rings at normal sound level. I've tried various ROMs and all of them seem to have it. Is there any fix for this?
Some of the Roms have the ability to turn off ascending ring I believe. In the sound settings.

Call ringtone lower than music and notification

hey guys just got my xperia 1 ii not long ago, everything went well except that after updating to android 11,
my incoming call ringtone has reduced significantly. I thought my speaker got problem but the thing is , media, alarm and even message notification sound remain loud but my incoming call ringtone has becoming alot softer so it should not be speaker problem right?
i tried downloading a 3rd party app for ringtone, the ringtones when played on the app itself were loud but once i set one of them as my phone call ringtone, the volume reduced!
i suspect is software problem but cant find a setting that would fix it. Maybe a certain app that i installed caused it but i have no idea which. Any ideas what could it be? factory reset would be my last solution but i hope it can be fixed without a reset since i have set everything nicely on the phone.
Hi try this app, This might work for you.
It will increase ringtone volume to 100% before receiving normal call.
P.S tested on galaxy devices.
