AFAIK, having a goldcard gives you supercid, with RUU at least.
Won't change the ro.cid property during run time though

Change CID forever. Or radio S-Off.

How I simply change my cid, may be some one have the script to change cid? I find some script based on ARUWizard, but this is for Desire, there are some .cmd files to do s-off, change cid etc., but to change a cid, you must know a block of memory(I think) and certainly desire and incredible are different.
I have stock rom, I made a goldcard to update on 3.11 wwe, but my cid is htc_038, and I simply want to make my inc s for my region (htc_a07, Russia) to revieve a update via FOTA. No any customs roms.)
Or help me how to change Radio S-Off?

Here is the link for the Downgrade tool that you must use if you want to use Revolutionary to gain S-Off:

Shouldn't this be in General section rather than Development??

Debranding using an international CID

Hi, my dad will be buying a HTC One from Vodafone and as all networks do they come with a network CID. I know when people change their CID it seems it is always a super CID, but is it fine to change it to a CID like HTC_001?

In order to change the CID you will have to first s-off the device and that will not be possible if it comes with h-boot 1.54 which is likely.
If however it comes with h-boot 1.44 then s-off will be possible and you will be able to change the CID to whatever valid ID to suit.
Yeah i know about the S-OFF bit, and i guess the 4.2.2 ruined the S-OFF trick :/ My One X although unbranded which is nice can't be S-OFFed
Thanks for your answer

s-off can simply use ruu of lower version and matching cid mid

S-OFF hboot 1.55
Version main3.62.401.1
Can I use ruu 1.29.401.1 with s off without supercid beacause no need to get cid na my ruu matches cid version
Only the thing is I want to confirm can I use lower version software ruu simply after relocking boot loader

you don't need supercid if your actual cid match the ruu. Some ruu require to downgrade hboot to 1.44 so be sure to do if required. (if you downloaded your ruu from htc1guru.com there will be a statement if its required)

You don't need to re-lock your bootloader.

[Q] Flashing RUU images with an S-OFF and SIM unlocked device

Will flashing an RUU file in any way remove the S-OFF or SIM unlock I have on my M7? I also changed the CID to the GPe CID, will that change?

No RUU, will not change S-OFF or anything else.

You may need to change CID to whatever RUU you want to flash, if you get CID error.
Okay, I just updated the CID to the Super CID. Now can I flash any RUU without issues?

CID and MID must match your RUU version. If CID doesn't match, you'll not be able to flash the RUU. If CID is superCID, you'll be able to flash it but you'll not get ota update on some versions so better to use the real CID for that RUU.
If MID doesn't match, you'll be able to flash the RUU but you will not be able to install ota updates (you'll get the "variant system error")
So in example:
if you want to use a WWE ruu (x.xx.401.x) use CID HTC__001 and MID PN0710000
If you want to use a GPE RUU (x.xx.1700.x) use CID GOOGL01 and MID PN0712000
If you want to use a Dev edition ruu (x.xx.1540.x) use CID BS_US001 and MID PN0712000
I tried using the Dev edition Cid and mid numbers, and relocked the boot loader and still got a 155 error code, meaning the ruu didn't match the codes.
