Hey guys im in the trouble . First of all about week ago i flash new kernel and MIUI rom and now when i want to go back mine Doc´s rom the phone freezes from the "SAMSUNG screen" even the 3 button combo don´t work anymore :S, what should i do now??

How to i get to download mode if i cant get even recovery menu?? Do i need USB jig?
Did you try to remove the battery? Do it and then try to get to download mode. If that doesn't work....I'll guess you have to use a JIG.

The wrong thing what i do was the making restore from recovery menu :S
but to download mode i get only, if i push 3 buttons same time and then opens the recovery and there i found download mode?

Hi,
I installed a bootloader with Odin And after that I needed to Install a GBOOT with Odin but I can't enter dowload mode I only can enter Recovery mode. What do I need to do ?

Flash stock Vibrant bootloaders, then ODIN to stock JFD. You should be good to go here onwards... I only had this issue when I tried changing bootloaders over MIUI/CM7. Couldn't replicate on Samsung ROMs... (AS QUOTED ON THE LINK PAGE)

The recovery mode I run is CWM v 5.0.2.7 .
The thing is Odin can't recognize my phone because I can't enter Downloading mode so I can't flash that.
Hope you can help me further
if you got any rom's stored on your sdcard you could try to flash that and then try to enter download mode, otherwise you could go to "mounts and storage" and mount usb storage there and move over an rom to flash.
Try to flash phone via cwm. Now we have jvz deodexed version on forum. Maybe after it will be ob.

There is a rom on here you can flash using CWM. On the forum is a JVZ that you can flash without using ODIn, slap that on your sd card, goto recovery and install from sd and hopefully that should fix it

They wont work as you need the correct gingerbread bootloaders installed first.
You ned to make or buy a jig then you can get the phone to access download mode again, and then using ODIN 1.83 reflash everything inlcuding the bootloader.

Ok thank you. I ordered yesterday a JIG from ebay.
What do I need to do then. What do I need to flash exactly ... I don't want to screw it up another time. I liked the MIUI rom but he didn't recognize the external SD so that's the reason why I flashed other bootloaders.
So I would like to have MIUI with working SD card.
If the SD card doesn't work I won't to flash the original Android.

I would download and flash this for starters, it contains a bootloader as well make sure you click the bootloader section in ODIN.

Then you can flash a custom rom afterwards, but dont change the bootloader once it works!

I tried to flash it but Odin said that it failed. But the ****ing thing now is that when I connect my phone to the usb my computer doesn't recognize it and odin doesn't recognize it at well. Please help ! I just want that my phone works !

Once I was playing with downloading and recovering mode I got into recovery mode then I was unable to get back to normal phone or downloading screen
what I did I pull out battery put out my sim.
I pressed volume up and down and home button togather and then pressed on button it worked out for me you should try that might work for you may be or maybe not.

I bought a JIG so I can get into download mode right now so then I flashed the ROM that Buttwad proposed. But ODIN said the proces of flashing failed and no when I connect my phone to my pc my pc even don't recognize my phone so I can't put anything on my phone. What do I need to do. I am desperate.
u can acces the phone sd in recovery..

Seems like you have issues with key combinations. Try using the Volume down with power button and see if it could get you to the download mode.
Also, if your device is being detected by the phone, use "adb reboot download" to reboot the phone into download mode.
Here is the situation: I had the MIUI rom on my phone but my phone didn't find my external SD. So i searched a bit on the internet and I found a guy who had the same problem and he said that I needed to flash the Vibrant bootloaders so I did that. But then everytime I started up my phone I came in Recovery mode. I couldn't even acces downoading mode anymore. So first I tried to flash two other roms(This one And this onebut the problem stayed the same. So I bought a JIG and then I tried to put this bootloaderon my phone but Odin said ERROR after a while. So then I tried to flash this one.
But now I can't even enter recovery mode. When I start up my phone I see a pictogram with my phone and the pc with the sign that I can't connect them.
And my computer also don't find my phone anymore so I can't flash anything anymore.
Please Help !
I will give 8 euros to the person who can tell me step by step(easy) what I need to do to make my phone working.

the phone is rooted.
tried to install ics theme v 1.6.1 While flasking in cwm, it said INSTALLED.
tried to reset binary counter by flasing a zip file, it said INSTALLED.
went to reboot system, it never booted, neither in cwm mode, nor in custom flash recovery mode. does not even show battery icon when put to charge.
battery was @ 80% when all this happened..
pls help, its not even 10days of my purchase...........

i have read another thread on xda and there they say sometimes it works with a jig. dont know if it works for you
where can i get it? is it readily available in india or do i need to get/order it online?

Relax. Just dont blindly keep flashing things.
Search, Read the post completely before flashing anything to know about the issues and compatibility. And follow the instructions to core.
And if anything goes wrong then don't panic. People are here to guide you.
Try getting a jig now as that is the only way to revive it if the phone is not going to recovery or download mode.

I have a i9000m and i wanted to flash it using odin because cwm wasn't working and i googled for vibrant. so i didn't really pay attention to the title when it said ``captivate only`` http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731989 it went through the odin process but phone didn't restart. it just turned off and stayed off so I unplugged and now, it just shows the at&t world phone white background screen. and keeps restarting. cant get to recovery or download mode. odin doesn't see it either. I read many forums and I think Im going to have to go with the usb jig but before I do Im just wondering if there's another method to get into download mode or some program or adb that can find the phone. thanks

If you click the link below ( My Android Collections), you can try Easy Reboot Recovery..using ADB or the Android Recovery Tools, they have options for various functions, preset by developers
yeah....using adb is the only possibility i would take into consideration too

I accidentally Flashed a vibrant rom on my i9000. When I finally did get it into download mode with the JIG, I flashed back to stock firmware with ODIN and It totally ruined my phone.... The screen went all crazy and it kept rebooting faster than odin could do anything to it.
Just be careful. Im really not sure what happened But its pooched now for sure. JTAG is my only option on that one
if u dont own JIG or u dont know how to use ADB . the other way is
remove battery from phone /sim card / sd card
take the USB connect with ur Laptop or PC ( dont use it with charger it will not work)
connect with ur phone , then u will see the black screen being lil bit lighter
pres the 3 combos button to enter download mode and then flash ur ROM
this always worked for me , i hard bricked 4 times already my phone :/
Hi guys. I was using cyanogenmod 10 on my S6500D. Works good i think. And i can't play wild blood on my phone. I want to try chainfire 3d. After installing drivers for CF3D my phone is not working. Always restarting on ''samsung'' logo. I can't open recovery mod. I can't open download mod (may be i can sometimes i don't know) I tried to install orginal rom for mini 2. Doesn't work. Please help me. Sorry for bad english.

You have soft bricked your phone as CF3D drivers didn work as it was supposed to. First turn off your device by long pressing power key, this works many times even if you are in a boot loop(which is what you are experiencing now). Now like always try to enter recovery mode manually by the combination specified for your device (mine is power+home key+vol. up for recovery and power+home+vol. down for download). If you can enter recovery mode, wipe data and cache and if needed dalvik cache as well but it will take more time for your phone to start the first time after dalvik cache is wiped. This will probably fix your problem. And if it doesn then your next choice is flashing stock rom via odin. Pull your battery, insert it back after 10 seconds. Enter download mode manually and you know how to flash stock rom via odin i suppose. You can find many guides out there as well.. Hopes this helps...

i can't open recovery mod. and i can't find stock rom for mini 2. When i prees long power buton my phone doesn't turn off. Still restarting. Please help me guys
Dont worry. Pull battery for 10sec and see if you can enter download mode. check this for your stock rom. This will do for now. You can later search for your region or flash a custom rom.

Remove the battery....and put it
Now go to recovery mode....and install a rom.....once I also face this problem

You flashed stock firmware using odin..? And, well.. you got two ops to access your phone other than using a Rom and that is recovery and download modes.

you gave me S6500 italy stock rom. But i have S6500D. I downloaded S6500D stock rom russia from same site. But it didn't worked. I can reach download mod but i can't reach recovery mod. Can you help me?

Sure.. I can help you. Check this.. It got what you need and it should work this time. Ignore the stuff mentioned at first of the article coz they are talking bout a perfectly working device and we are facing a worst case scenerio. Download the required files. Uninstall kies if you have it installed coz it will probably clash with Odin trying to access your device and report error. So have just the usb drivers installed and remove kies first. Next do as they say. It should be fine. Let me know if it worked.

now my phone stucks on samsung logo. But not restartings. I think it is good. I can't reach recovery mod still. So close

This might get you back your recovery. Flash this cwm.tar.md5 using odin. select the PDA option and select the .tar.md5 file you got now. Check if it restores your recovery and let me know.

If you can enter download mode then dont give up. Try for odin flashable Roms and if you take your phone to service centre, dont tell them what really happened coz it will void your warranty. Tell them it happened while flashing the official stock rom update. It might save you from paying em and also losing your warranty..

You can but should have odin flashable files. Well if you find any then you can try it. But trying the ones you got already might work as you got the logo now.
