Use Galaxy Tuner from the Market. But TwLauncher can't fix. Good luck.

you can also use alternative launchers such as ADW. They have a setting that you can keep the orientation of your home screens to portrait or landscape.

Check out GTG465 Launcher, if you'd like to stick with Tw:

turn into landscape, turn off autorotation and you're done!

[Q] Auto Windows image rotation

Hi guys, Happy Easter! Currently I am typing from my D2, so I'm not able to search for a good fix due to slow wi-fi connection. That's why I'm asking any of you that already knows how to make my screen auto rotate. I am using windows 6.5 and I can't remember which rom, tough it's a very simple one. At this point my image won't auto rotate when moving the phone, so games like Rock Band won't work. Opera and other few programs auto rotate plus games that are made only on landscape. The problem is I can't find the auto rotate setting or program, only a setting that makes me choose landscape/portrait. I changed my whole menu to landscape and Rock Band still doesn't work. Can anyone help me?
Thank you

There is an auto rotate app here. I have not tested it so I can't confirm that it will work on your ROM.
You can also try the attached GSensor cab.
Another thing you can do use the Topaz keyboard control app and set rotate to one of your buttons.

Thanks. The first program is working grrreat! Though not for Calculator. I've added and removed it from the list and rebooting my mobile and Calculator doesn't rotate.

The app must support rotation and you could also set one of your buttons on double\triple\ or long press to rotate screen left or right with the kybrd cnfg....

Home screen won't rotate

My home screen (sense) used to rotate when I changed the phone's orientation, but it suddenly stopped doing that. Does anyone know how to fix this?
The problem only affects the the home screen, rotation works fine in all other apps
To be frank (not saying it's not possible), I've never seen an in store demo Incredible S homescreen rotate since it was released or on my personal hadnset (on a standard ROM). It was one of the first things I tried just to see the illuminated buttons at the bottom rotate too. Found I could only get it to rotate when in an app.
Yup it only rotates in app. As far as my knowledge surpasses, its only desire z that that has feature of rotating home screen.
Lol even i tried a lot to rotate the home screen when I got my silver desire last summer.

[Q]Homescreens in Landscape WITH using Touchwiz 4

HI,
The Note is nearly a Tab, so is there a Hack to bring the Homescreens in Landscape like the SG-Tab? I dont want to use a custom launcher...
Thx Blaui

I'd like landscape home screens, too. It's weird they didn't already give us this. Didn't the GSII have landscape home screens? I don't think it's just a tablet thing.

Indeed, Samsung should have given the option to have LANDSCAPE MODE / AUTO ROTATION even in the TOUCHWIZ homescreen, if at all they dare to call NOTE as a Tablet. Its strange that they have missed such an important need of their customers!!
By the way, Blaui, there are MODs available for this, however as obvious, you will need to root with custom recovery (CWM). May be this link will help you further:
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile...in-touchwiz-launcher-for-android-gingerbread/
and, I am sure for NOTE rooting and cwm, you can refer to this superb thread from Dr. Ketan: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
(Thanks Ketan, yet again)
Something weird happened. I have stock rom KL7 on my Note with CF-rooted kernel. I was playing Majesty, which is in landscape mode. I let the game run, as I was doing something else. After a while the game somehow closed itself and my home screen was in landscape mode! I turned the device around and it changed back to portrait and couldn't get it back to landscape.

Is there a proper working Lockscreen App yet?

Hey guys.
Since the days of me using the galaxy s2, there still hasn't been a proper lockscreen app that works properly on the s2 or the note.
Like widget locker, i wasted my money buying it and once its activated, when your at the lockscreen, you press the home button once and it unlocks the phone rather then the intended method of unlocking by swiping the screen. Same problem with the Go Locker.
I believe its still going on with the S2.
By any chance does anyone have a proper work around rather then disabling the home button or is there an app that works flawlessly, or are we forever limited to the stock lock screen?
There is a setting in widget locker that disables home button.

Same for Go Locker. You can disable home button presses when the lock screen is active.
EDIT: Quick tip for the OP... Questions such as these should go in the Q&A section of the forum.
