Anyone know where i could find an otterbox case in NYC? I checked best buy's website and the nearest one that "supposedly has it in store" is in New Jersey. Any other stores that may sell them?
Seen several ebay resellers from NYC on ebay with them when I bought mine last week. The defender is awesome and love the beltclip/stand.

Yes it looks ok but it looks from the picture that it adds alot of thickness. I am waiting on the amzer jellycase.

If you really want it you can always use www.shipito.com (I have used them many times for restricted items) or a similar service. They charge USD 8.- per shipment and their shipping rates are very reasonable.
It's not even available on the Otterbox site yet, hopefully once they ramp up production Amazon UK will carry it.

Just checked on that case, one website said it's due out 13th September so it should be out soon. Although being 100% silicone I wouldn't want it to stick to my pockets and pick up dirt....
given the choice I think I'd rather get the otterbox one, the amzer looks more like it would stop minor cosmetic damage such as scratches rather than a knock.

This looks great i bought the Case-Mate Tough Case for my Galaxy S and this looks very similar to it so i have now registered for an alert when it becomes available and think I'll get one as so far its one of the nicest and most practical looking cases I've seen for our Streaks as am currently using one of those Neoprene pouches off of E-Bay as a temporary solution..

That is because estimated shipping times are 1 - 2 weeks.
I ordered one last night.
I emailed them earlier to see when they become available to order from their site and if it will be available in the UK. Will post here if I get a response.
Which is considered to be the slimmest and best looking case? Defender,Impact or commuter from Otterbox? I think I am going to stick with the Amzer case it looks better to me. Here goes an updated photo on how the case looks. If you go through Amazon you can get it for 14.97.

Search Dell Streak Cases and you will see the Amzer cases for sale. The funny thing is that there are two sellers listing the silicon cases one for 6.97 with free shipping and the other for 24.95. Maybe this is Amzers supplier on the Dell Streak cases.

Having looked at the Amzer case and the Otterbox one I think I'm going to get the Otterbox as it looks more capable of transfering shock away from the device.
The other Otterbox cases as posted by barry99705 will be interesting too. I'm going to wait and see what they look like when the pics go up.

I live by the otter box defender case they may be big and bulky but they are worth it. 42 dollors is pretty cheap I would buy it for that but I got one and he is right they are 59.95 at the stores. But the good thing is they will replace the case if it wears out.

Sorry mate, these looks exactly like rebranded generic ebay knockoff cases, and hardly any reviews on Amazon (until a few days ago when Slickdeal starting to run discount promo). Boxwave discounted all of their accessories on Slickdeals, including screen protectors, and I'm not sure if they are clearing their stock or trying to attrack new customers, etc. I don't know anything about their quality, but it just looks awfully similar to ebay stuff you can get even cheaper.

They did the same thing back about a month after the s3 came out. I ordered one with the same coupon and what I got was a TPU that didn't fit the phone. It was clearly different than what was pictured on Amazon. That said I still ordered that tuxedo tpu... Thought I would give it another try.

Hey if any one is looking for a case in LA there is a kiosk in Plaza Mexico in Lynwood Ca, that has affordable cases to buy. I picked up one for $15. Best buy and Tmobile both don't have any in stock. And no I'm not a sponsor. Lol

Yeah I'm going to wait until best buy gets some in. This case is just in the mean time until I can get a view case I definitely didn't want to go a couple of days with it unprotected. Mine was $15 because I got a heavier duty one they have cheaper ones too. sheeeese bro I'm just trying to help out anyone looking for a case until supply is better.
You can get a good TPU from Amazon for less than $8 and shipped next day (extra charge). I believe I got the Diztronics until my SGP Neo Hybrid arrives.

I swear, cases these days, what incredible rip-offs in terms of pricing. These folio cases are like $3 worth of raw materials, even if you tripled it to pay for design/manufacturing/packaging expenses and to make at least some profit that would be acceptable, but $49.99 retail? Ugh... glad the burgundy one I have came with the G2 I bought used 'cause I'd never in a bazillion years pay that much for a case.
