AMZER cases at Amazon

Has anyone bought an Amzer case from Amazon? Gel or TPU? Any good?

I know someone talked about it in the Vibrant forum. Might wanna check over there. I think the person did a mini review.

I ordered one but it won't ship until january.

I ordered a black silicone case as well as their screen protector to try out for the hell of it. They are out of stock so there will probably be a small wait till it arrives.

The cases aren't out yet. They are up for pre order. If you go to Amzer's website you will see that they don't ship until 1/5. That is how it has been since the phone came out cause that is when I checked for it so it is not out yet.

no one has it yet, it isnt supposed to ship until the 6th or 7th last i checked. Unless you meant you wanted a pic of the nexus 1 one, in which case that would have nothing to do with this thread on the nexus s...

Just got mine and im really happy with it. Fits nice and snug too. Their screen protector on the other hand was a total fail. It never adhered to the screen properly and was in the trash within 10 minutes of delivery.

I was gonna wait for a different case, but i already dropped my phone on the pavement and gave the corner a nice little ding I settled for this case..

Amazon seems to be out of stock. However, one of the other sellers had the case in stock so I ordered through them on Amazon. Fast shipping, too - just got a e-mail the order has been shipped.

The AMZER silicone cases look nice. I have disliked the Best Buy case since the day I bought it, but any case (well, almost any case) is better than no case. Anyway, Amazon registered the AMZER ones as in stock today, so I ordered one. Optimistically waiting.

i just ordered one to from ebay, it was cheaper there only 11.99 i think w/ free shipping. on amazon it was 9.99 with 5.00 shipping.

I always buy things in batches on Amazon so I can use Super Saver shipping.

Just ordered a white one from Amazon. I got prime so free 2-day shipping. Gonna get it on Sunday, so I will post my opinion on it then.

I also have Prime (have since it was made available) so I just placed an order for two (one white and one black) and chose 3.99/item one day shipping and should be getting them tomorrow.
Side Note:
I highly recommend Amazon Prime to anyone who uses Amazon frequently. It's only 79.99/year and you can invite up to 4 household members (though I'm sure you can add a friend) to share the membership. The first time I realized how great it was, was when I ordered an industrial strength shredder as a christmas present and because of the bulk the shipping would have been outrageous, so instead I opted for the 3.99/item overnight shipping.

The only difference is that many people paid $8 to $12 for this case from Moko and other dealers. Why is i-blason charging almost $20 for the same case?

I don't know about others but I ordered the i-blason because i the moko cases i looked at didn't look as nice (and the i-blason is available in orange).

I got the same e-mail too. Very frustrating, because I will be traveling out of the country next week for three weeks and really wanted a protective case before departing.. are there any other cases this thin that are currently shipping?

I paid more because I wanted the color. Hehehe. Black just seemed boring and plain to me, but the prices on the other cheaper alternatives was very enticing.

Nope, didn't get an email yet for the delay. I also ordered the orange one I have my mofi case and is a good bridge gap until this and/or my treegloo case comes in by the middle of next month.

I ordered the blue one. I haven't received any other email other than the one I posted in OP. Although blue still shows august 3rd

i just ordered the black one as i didn't really care for any of the other colors. the case looks a lot slimmer than the other iblason case which i like but i wish this one had a vertical stand as well for when i'm reading ebooks. guess i'll try to read them in landscape now.

Just got mine in today. It seems to be pretty well made and the smart cover works perfectly. No problems with folding back the cover turning the screen off or anything. And the case is rather small. I like it all in all even if there was a delay. At least the company was up front about the issues and didn't just send out a faulty product.

So I noticed there's been a lot of talk regarding the Blurex Magyc Folio case (amzn.c0m/B008D2Q8RG) but I am amazed no one has picked up on Blurex's other case for the Nexus 7, the Ultraslim model (amzn.c0m/B008D2POAS).
Based on the pictures, the case looks MUCH slimmer than most of the other cases here. It also doesn't cover the bezel, much like the Moko and Poetic. Furthermore, it has the on/off magnetic sleep feature. And guess what? The case is only $5!!
Seriously, am I missing something? Why has there been little to no talk of this case? And since it is sold by Prestige Milano, the official Blurex reseller, the possibly of it being fake is out of the question...This seems like the real deal.

That's because my Nexus 7 hasn't arrive for me to use this case. I got this. It's so cool looking. I have the Blurex Magyc Folio Case. And I'm mad you found this for $5. I spent $10. And yes I'm complaining about not being able to save $5. LoL!!

Blurex has a really nice customer support and they ship to Canada for 6 bucks!

Anyone else bought/received this item? And still no answer as to why this case has been ignored (which is evident by the lack of responses in this thread). Am I missing something? Is there a catch to this case?

First of all, you use the same link twice for the Amazon item (the incorrect one for the case you're talking about). Maybe correct that so folks know what you're talking about. Secondly, that case is talked about plenty, though from different value added resellers. With that said, $5 + $2.60 shipping each is pretty darn good when compared against the wholesale price direct from China.

Thanks for pointing that out! I've edited my first post to include the correct link.

This is pretty much the same case I have for my Fire. It's a great case for the money. However, when I search for B008D2POAS, I see the case for $5. When I click on it the price goes to $9.99. LOL - I did that twice to verify, now I just did it again and it shows $9.99. Sometimes shopping at Amazon is like day trading
Anyway, with the shipping it puts the case into the same range as the other Bluerex case and some others.

Both Blurex, all three threads I mean, mention the folio and the one you linked is the "newer" version. I was sent an email from Alex telling me they had an issue with the 600 in stock units. The wake magnet is too strong and would sleep the unit if you folded the "stand" back a lot..
The one you mention was the exact one I asked Blurex about in particular, he had to set it to no stock, until they fixed them. They were $5.00 originally (last week) - Guessing they fixed them, and raised the price to about double for the fix..

Wow, that's weird...seems like it was as an error in the first place. $5 is too good to be true. So is your Kindle case also Blurex, can you comment on the quality of the case?

Yh, I noticed this case too, however, I was put off by the fact that it is only available for preorder. Do you know when it's to be released and also whether it holds any particular advantage over the Blurex case? Based on the pic, they both look the case...

I have one like this coming in today and will give it a shot with my N7. Have a different case on order as well, but it won't ship until Aug 20th so I need something temporary until then.

There really isn't much special about that case IMO, looks like most of the others. I ordered the Moko, which doesn't cover the bezel and it has landscap and portrait modes with the Sleep/Wake function.

I've never really measured it, but it's slim enough that I can slip it in my jeans rear pockets.

Just picked up the Blurex Ultraslim model. You're right in that it looks much slimmer than the Blurex Magyc Folio. Also, I like that the Ultraslim model doesn't cover the bezel which I think looks really tacky.

Not impressed. While it is slimmer than the case that fellow employee got, this does not include the magic magnet, and it covers the bezel edges making it more difficult to use.
Note that it never said it included the magnet, and I never assumed it would, but since the case makes reaching the buttons including power button harder, the lack of such a feature makes using it much harder. Also, it is hard to use the unit near the edges of the screen because the case is in the way.
My wife has informed me she is getting a Nexus 7 now (guess who is buying it), she can use this when she gets it. In the meantime, I will stick with the sleeve that I've been using.

Where the heck do I get a case?!

I can't find a case for this phone anywhere online. I checked amazon and googled it. People were talking about samsung.com, but I don't see anything specifically for the note 2 there. Can everyone just post links of places they got their cases? I really want a case before I destroy the phone. Thanks!

Shop products -> Cell Phone Accessories. Should be 20 pages of stuff
Filter for "Cases and Holsters" on the left. Should be 4 pages now.
Go to page 4. Official Samsung flip cover ($40) and protective case ($30) are there in 2 colors each. Use the 50% coupon from thread at the top of this forum.
Also, there is always eBay, and I heard Sprint stores have cases in stock. My T-Mobile store had no accessories

There are not many US-based retailers that have cases for sale at reasonable prices. I have a slew of them coming through eBay but most of them are third-party and shipping from Hong Kong. I checked the T-Mobile store nearby only to find that they did not have any accessories in stock and did not have any idea when they'd be getting them in.
Samsung.com, when I last checked yesterday, did not have any of the flip covers in stock for the Note 2. I put in a backorder on them but have no received an email yet.
Amazon.com, has mostly third-party accessories as well and it's difficult to find the correct items. Keep in mind that you can search for N7100, N7105, SGH-T889, SGH-i317 and many other model numbers.
Hoping within the next week or two that more US retailers begin carrying accessories.

Just called up T-Mo again, and again, "sorry, nothing yet. Looks as we got the phones early or something". Sigh...I think I got a simple one that should be here by next Monday...from Amazon.com

More and more cases are showing up each day. I ordered that Poetic flip case myself last night. Got a notification that it had dropped to $4.95, and there was no shipping cost (even without Prime), so it was pretty much a no-brainer.

Saw that about the Poetic case myself too. Went to order it today and they wanted to charge something like $25 for delivery to Europe Thanks but no thanks. Pity.

I'm particularly curious to know, when that case and the Note 2 arrive, if it can handle the phone inside of a TPU.
Speaking of TPUs, I haven't heard back from Diztronic yet on whether they're making TPUs for the Note 2. TPUs don't get any better than Diztronic, imo.

Wish there was a seidio case out.. Or something like it.. That was a nice case that protected well

It is cheap and is relatively unobtrusive. It is thin and yet, sturdy enough to protect the phone from a drop from a table top. The sides wrap around the front of the touchscreen just enough to give it protection from putting it directly on a flat table top. The kick stand is very useful to stand this beautiful screen, especially for the kids to watch a show.

The sides wrap around the front of the touchscreen just enough to give it protection from putting it directly on a flat table top. Another vote for the great body glove case.

I'm really surprised sprint has this nice body glove you all speak of.. I'll have to see if my sprint store had it.. Usually they have some dinky cases that are wayyyyy over priced

what's the grip and protection like for your tudia case???

Can you try something for me?
Can you see if 1 Credit Card and 1 Drivers License fit inside the back of the case and still fit on the phone? Its a way to carry those things on the phone case.
I need a case that does this like I was doing with my current phone.

Its not slick if thats what your asking. I havent had one scare or fumble with it yet. The protection seems great for a TPU case. I have no doubts when putting it down on its screen with the cases bezels being the size they are.

I was able to get the case on with my DL and a CC in there. It doesnt fit very well, it creates a gap at the bottom and where the case meets the buttons on the back. Putting just 1 card in the case, you cant even tell its there. Keep in mind I have a AZ DL which is very thick compared to say a CA DL.

I totally agree

It's a decent case. I'm not a big fan of tpu style cases but this one is nice. I think it's a bargain at $7.

I've used a diztronic back in the gs3 days and they seem close. Diztronic is a shady company though so I'd never support them again.
If wondering what I mean, search xda in gs3 forums for Diztronic.
