Yes it looks ok but it looks from the picture that it adds alot of thickness. I am waiting on the amzer jellycase.

If you really want it you can always use www.shipito.com (I have used them many times for restricted items) or a similar service. They charge USD 8.- per shipment and their shipping rates are very reasonable.

It's not even available on the Otterbox site yet, hopefully once they ramp up production Amazon UK will carry it.

Just checked on that case, one website said it's due out 13th September so it should be out soon. Although being 100% silicone I wouldn't want it to stick to my pockets and pick up dirt....

given the choice I think I'd rather get the otterbox one, the amzer looks more like it would stop minor cosmetic damage such as scratches rather than a knock.

This looks great i bought the Case-Mate Tough Case for my Galaxy S and this looks very similar to it so i have now registered for an alert when it becomes available and think I'll get one as so far its one of the nicest and most practical looking cases I've seen for our Streaks as am currently using one of those Neoprene pouches off of E-Bay as a temporary solution..

That is because estimated shipping times are 1 - 2 weeks.
I ordered one last night.

I emailed them earlier to see when they become available to order from their site and if it will be available in the UK. Will post here if I get a response.

Which is considered to be the slimmest and best looking case? Defender,Impact or commuter from Otterbox? I think I am going to stick with the Amzer case it looks better to me. Here goes an updated photo on how the case looks. If you go through Amazon you can get it for 14.97.

Silicon cases popping up on EBAY
Search Dell Streak Cases and you will see the Amzer cases for sale. The funny thing is that there are two sellers listing the silicon cases one for 6.97 with free shipping and the other for 24.95. Maybe this is Amzers supplier on the Dell Streak cases.

Having looked at the Amzer case and the Otterbox one I think I'm going to get the Otterbox as it looks more capable of transfering shock away from the device.
The other Otterbox cases as posted by barry99705 will be interesting too. I'm going to wait and see what they look like when the pics go up.

urs come with screen protectors? cause i saw one like it too but no screen protectors

No protectors (bought the 75% off Xtreme guards).

I have this case on my Nexus now. The fix is a little lose causing the camera to be slightly covered. Does not affect the usability of the screen.
Mine came with a screen protector and stylus.
I may end up with some Velcro to hold the unit in place or search for another case.

It's quite a good case. Since the Nexus 7 is so comfortable to hold and use without a case it will take some time to get used to it with a case.

The only difference is that many people paid $8 to $12 for this case from Moko and other dealers. Why is i-blason charging almost $20 for the same case?

I don't know about others but I ordered the i-blason because i the moko cases i looked at didn't look as nice (and the i-blason is available in orange).

I got the same e-mail too. Very frustrating, because I will be traveling out of the country next week for three weeks and really wanted a protective case before departing.. are there any other cases this thin that are currently shipping?

All the thin cases are shipping starting in August, but the thinnest ones I have seen are below to keep you 'covered' until you get a better built case in August.

I paid more because I wanted the color. Hehehe. Black just seemed boring and plain to me, but the prices on the other cheaper alternatives was very enticing.

Nope, didn't get an email yet for the delay. I also ordered the orange one I have my mofi case and is a good bridge gap until this and/or my treegloo case comes in by the middle of next month.

I ordered the blue one. I haven't received any other email other than the one I posted in OP. Although blue still shows august 3rd

i just ordered the black one as i didn't really care for any of the other colors. the case looks a lot slimmer than the other iblason case which i like but i wish this one had a vertical stand as well for when i'm reading ebooks. guess i'll try to read them in landscape now.

Just got mine in today. It seems to be pretty well made and the smart cover works perfectly. No problems with folding back the cover turning the screen off or anything. And the case is rather small. I like it all in all even if there was a delay. At least the company was up front about the issues and didn't just send out a faulty product.

Where the heck do I get a case?!

I can't find a case for this phone anywhere online. I checked amazon and googled it. People were talking about samsung.com, but I don't see anything specifically for the note 2 there. Can everyone just post links of places they got their cases? I really want a case before I destroy the phone. Thanks!

Filter for "Cases and Holsters" on the left. Should be 4 pages now.
Go to page 4. Official Samsung flip cover ($40) and protective case ($30) are there in 2 colors each. Use the 50% coupon from thread at the top of this forum.
Also, there is always eBay, and I heard Sprint stores have cases in stock. My T-Mobile store had no accessories

There are not many US-based retailers that have cases for sale at reasonable prices. I have a slew of them coming through eBay but most of them are third-party and shipping from Hong Kong. I checked the T-Mobile store nearby only to find that they did not have any accessories in stock and did not have any idea when they'd be getting them in.
Samsung.com, when I last checked yesterday, did not have any of the flip covers in stock for the Note 2. I put in a backorder on them but have no received an email yet.
Amazon.com, has mostly third-party accessories as well and it's difficult to find the correct items. Keep in mind that you can search for N7100, N7105, SGH-T889, SGH-i317 and many other model numbers.
Hoping within the next week or two that more US retailers begin carrying accessories.

Anybody checked if Sprint has any accessories either?
Just called up T-Mo again, and again, "sorry, nothing yet. Looks as we got the phones early or something". Sigh...I think I got a simple one that should be here by next Monday...from Amazon.com

More and more cases are showing up each day. I ordered that Poetic flip case myself last night. Got a notification that it had dropped to $4.95, and there was no shipping cost (even without Prime), so it was pretty much a no-brainer.

Saw that about the Poetic case myself too. Went to order it today and they wanted to charge something like $25 for delivery to Europe Thanks but no thanks. Pity.

I'm particularly curious to know, when that case and the Note 2 arrive, if it can handle the phone inside of a TPU.
Speaking of TPUs, I haven't heard back from Diztronic yet on whether they're making TPUs for the Note 2. TPUs don't get any better than Diztronic, imo.

Wish there was a seidio case out.. Or something like it.. That was a nice case that protected well

It is cheap and is relatively unobtrusive. It is thin and yet, sturdy enough to protect the phone from a drop from a table top. The sides wrap around the front of the touchscreen just enough to give it protection from putting it directly on a flat table top. The kick stand is very useful to stand this beautiful screen, especially for the kids to watch a show.

I got my note 2 today, and drove 25 min to another location that had cases. I have the body glove also and love it!!!!

Another vote for the great body glove case.

I'm really surprised sprint has this nice body glove you all speak of.. I'll have to see if my sprint store had it.. Usually they have some dinky cases that are wayyyyy over priced

Diztronic SGN II case in stock

I had their case for my Galaxy Nexus where it provided great protection and was also lightweight. I just ordered their case for the GN II and I'm excited to receive it. I went to the sprint store the other day looking for the bodyglove everyone has been talking about but ended up buying some bulky and heavy case from ventev.

Yes, the other one was first, but I prefer to see images of the case on the phone. (like I'm sure most users would)
The TPU site doesn't provide that - this post does.
I vote to keep this one and kill the other.

My case shipped out yesterday so I should have pics by Thursday or Friday. As for cutouts there weren't any for the Galaxy Nexus and that did become a pain however with the few cases I've tried for the GN2 the lack of cutouts is not a problem.

Just got my case in. I like it much better than the case from Cruzerlite.
Edit: First impressions. Love the matte finish and the smoothness of the back. I wasn't much of fan of the back of the Cruzerlite case, but I dealt with it. Vol Up/Down and power buttons seem a bit a "clickier".

I'm jealous! I am still waiting for mine.. hopefully tomorrow

Thanks for the reassurance. I'm waiting for mine. Bought mine on the 18th. Hopefully see it tomorrow as well.

Got the case yesterday and it is great! It doesn't slip, it's light, and offers very good protection. Without the case I would frequently hit the power button but there is less of that now. I wish I hadnt spent 30 bucks on that bulky ventev case from sprint.

If I didn't "need" a kickstand in a case, this would be my number 1 choice. Their case kicked ass on my Galaxy Nexus. This is the best slim type case with a great matte non slip finish, and the cost is always very reasonable. I wish Sammy made phones whose bodies were like this case lol.
