The only difference is that many people paid $8 to $12 for this case from Moko and other dealers. Why is i-blason charging almost $20 for the same case?

I don't know about others but I ordered the i-blason because i the moko cases i looked at didn't look as nice (and the i-blason is available in orange).

I got the same e-mail too. Very frustrating, because I will be traveling out of the country next week for three weeks and really wanted a protective case before departing.. are there any other cases this thin that are currently shipping?

I paid more because I wanted the color. Hehehe. Black just seemed boring and plain to me, but the prices on the other cheaper alternatives was very enticing.

Nope, didn't get an email yet for the delay. I also ordered the orange one I have my mofi case and is a good bridge gap until this and/or my treegloo case comes in by the middle of next month.

I ordered the blue one. I haven't received any other email other than the one I posted in OP. Although blue still shows august 3rd
i just ordered the black one as i didn't really care for any of the other colors. the case looks a lot slimmer than the other iblason case which i like but i wish this one had a vertical stand as well for when i'm reading ebooks. guess i'll try to read them in landscape now.
still waiting on mine. ordered the blue. it shipped but i have no idea when it will get here.

Just got mine in today. It seems to be pretty well made and the smart cover works perfectly. No problems with folding back the cover turning the screen off or anything. And the case is rather small. I like it all in all even if there was a delay. At least the company was up front about the issues and didn't just send out a faulty product.

If you really want it you can always use www.shipito.com (I have used them many times for restricted items) or a similar service. They charge USD 8.- per shipment and their shipping rates are very reasonable.
It's not even available on the Otterbox site yet, hopefully once they ramp up production Amazon UK will carry it.

Just checked on that case, one website said it's due out 13th September so it should be out soon. Although being 100% silicone I wouldn't want it to stick to my pockets and pick up dirt....
given the choice I think I'd rather get the otterbox one, the amzer looks more like it would stop minor cosmetic damage such as scratches rather than a knock.

This looks great i bought the Case-Mate Tough Case for my Galaxy S and this looks very similar to it so i have now registered for an alert when it becomes available and think I'll get one as so far its one of the nicest and most practical looking cases I've seen for our Streaks as am currently using one of those Neoprene pouches off of E-Bay as a temporary solution..

Which is considered to be the slimmest and best looking case? Defender,Impact or commuter from Otterbox? I think I am going to stick with the Amzer case it looks better to me. Here goes an updated photo on how the case looks. If you go through Amazon you can get it for 14.97.

Having looked at the Amzer case and the Otterbox one I think I'm going to get the Otterbox as it looks more capable of transfering shock away from the device.
The other Otterbox cases as posted by barry99705 will be interesting too. I'm going to wait and see what they look like when the pics go up.

The cases aren't out yet. They are up for pre order. If you go to Amzer's website you will see that they don't ship until 1/5. That is how it has been since the phone came out cause that is when I checked for it so it is not out yet.

Just got mine and im really happy with it. Fits nice and snug too. Their screen protector on the other hand was a total fail. It never adhered to the screen properly and was in the trash within 10 minutes of delivery.

I also have Prime (have since it was made available) so I just placed an order for two (one white and one black) and chose 3.99/item one day shipping and should be getting them tomorrow.
Side Note:
I highly recommend Amazon Prime to anyone who uses Amazon frequently. It's only 79.99/year and you can invite up to 4 household members (though I'm sure you can add a friend) to share the membership. The first time I realized how great it was, was when I ordered an industrial strength shredder as a christmas present and because of the bulk the shipping would have been outrageous, so instead I opted for the 3.99/item overnight shipping.

Go to page 4. Official Samsung flip cover ($40) and protective case ($30) are there in 2 colors each. Use the 50% coupon from thread at the top of this forum.
Also, there is always eBay, and I heard Sprint stores have cases in stock. My T-Mobile store had no accessories
There are not many US-based retailers that have cases for sale at reasonable prices. I have a slew of them coming through eBay but most of them are third-party and shipping from Hong Kong. I checked the T-Mobile store nearby only to find that they did not have any accessories in stock and did not have any idea when they'd be getting them in.
Samsung.com, when I last checked yesterday, did not have any of the flip covers in stock for the Note 2. I put in a backorder on them but have no received an email yet.
Amazon.com, has mostly third-party accessories as well and it's difficult to find the correct items. Keep in mind that you can search for N7100, N7105, SGH-T889, SGH-i317 and many other model numbers.
Hoping within the next week or two that more US retailers begin carrying accessories.

More and more cases are showing up each day. I ordered that Poetic flip case myself last night. Got a notification that it had dropped to $4.95, and there was no shipping cost (even without Prime), so it was pretty much a no-brainer.
Saw that about the Poetic case myself too. Went to order it today and they wanted to charge something like $25 for delivery to Europe Thanks but no thanks. Pity.

I'm particularly curious to know, when that case and the Note 2 arrive, if it can handle the phone inside of a TPU.
Speaking of TPUs, I haven't heard back from Diztronic yet on whether they're making TPUs for the Note 2. TPUs don't get any better than Diztronic, imo.

I'm really surprised sprint has this nice body glove you all speak of.. I'll have to see if my sprint store had it.. Usually they have some dinky cases that are wayyyyy over priced

I was looking at the 'Nexus 10 Accessories' website and discovered they had found a Folding Smart Cover case. It is one of those generic ones from China, but they seemed quite happy with it.
You can find it on Ebay by searching "HardBack PU Leather Case With Folding Smart Cover for Google Nexus 10"

It does look very similar to the Ipad one, so similar I am sure they will be receiving a letter from Apple's lawyers at some point, maybe not, but with Apples track record regarding litigation anything is possible.

#1 landscape using the stand, will the flap hang down over the screen or will it stay back behind the tab?

#1 If you fold the flap backwards often enough, you can make it sort of stay upright without it falling over the front while in landscape mode. The flap is soft after all.
#2 The flap is magnetic, you can actually fold it backwards and it will magnetically snap onto the folded front cover, since the front cover has its own internal magnets.
Here are some pics of mine to illustrate.
These look cool, but I really want a smart cover that attaches directly to the back of the Nexus 10 rather than wrapping around the sides...

Am still waiting for mine to arrive. But am still waiting for it to arrive. Does ant of you have ant experience with the company? Am not getting a response to my emails.

I ordered one and I received it a few days ago. It too two weeks from order to receive but was well worth the wait. I got the white one and it looks oh so sweet. I'm going to order a couple more colors I like this thing so much. I have the Poetic slimline portfolio thinking that would be the best option but now I'm not so sure. I might have three of these other cases before the Poetic even ships.

I am glad to hear you liked the case. I am still waiting for mine, but I expect to get it soon. In the meantime I purchased the blur ex case, it is decent, but, I am left wanting more.

I think we need to protect the device as soon as possible, so I ordered one of this cases yesterday because we don't know when Google or Samsung are going to launch an official smart cover for the N10. If they release an official case soon I'm going to buy it, just if it looks nice and the price is good.
Also, advantages I see on this case is that covering the N10's back you're avoiding:
- Fingerprints
- Attract dust
- Back creaking
I received mine the other day. I must say I am not a big fan of it.
The back holds the device very well, but the front cover just does not feel optimized for the tablet.
It slides around and does not grip the screen very well.
Additionally, if you peel back the screen cover and use the magnet to attach it at the back it won't work on portrait mode. The magnet on the back does something to the magnet unlock and it turns off the screen.
It is a case you could use at home, but I would be wary of taking it out into public, or even tossing it into your bag as the front cover does move a bit and could leave the screen vulnerable.
I have the blurex case as well and I will be sticking with that one from now on.

+1 for the Blurex Case. Minimal, yet gives good protection!
I wonder how this compares to the Slimline that just started shipping. Since these are both intended as front-folding (like the iPad's) and thin covers - which is actually thinner?
Looked a couple of days ago and it wasn't available in the UK, but now it is. Not quite the deal that is available on Amazon.com, but still reasonable.
Ordered mine today and should get delivered tomorrow with Amazon Prime.
Sending my LuvTab back (piece of rubbish) and hopping this moko is what it's been made out to be.

Actually, the cover has been on Amazon UK for a couple of weeks, just well hidden Unfortunately the metallic tab threatening to scratch the screen is a deal breaker for me. I'm frustrated, there doesn't seem to be a cheap,quality, lightweight, "pleasant to the eye" Nexus 10 cover on the market. The red and black Poetic Slimline would be my choice if it wasn't manufactured so poorly. I bought my used Nexus 10 off Ebay (apparently part of the first batch sold in UK, November 2012, no creaking, minimal light bleed, uniform screen) and it came with the cheapest GMYLE / Tecknet cover, in pink. I'm not much into pink myself so I decided to replace it but I'm not able to find anything that pleases my eye at a reasonable price. I guess it'll be, at least temporarily, another 7€ GMYLE / Tecknet clone for me, only in black. It's a bit heavy for a plastic shell type cover but it looks sturdy enough. Guess it will have to do untill Noreve decides to lower it's prices to 20-30€ :laugh:
The metal should be fine as long as its not an edge that's touching. I'll update once i've tried it out tomorrow.
Its crazy the lack of quality accessories available. Time will tell though I guess.

Bought mine.
Very pleased.. been waiting weeks for it to become available to the UK
i was worried about the metal but its not touching the screen. i also put a small amount of sticky tape on it to make sure
In the end I opted for the Slim-Fit Multi-angle Folio version which is a bit bulkier than the Ultra Slim, but it looks great in red Ordered mine from the USA site.
I ordered both of them, the ultra slim and the slim. The ultra slim is a piece of garbage in comparison. The slim is very good feeling, whereas the ultra slim feels very very cheap. Mainly my issue is it only attaches at the magnetic clip in the center so that causes the top to slide around when it is being held. It should really attach on the sides as well more like the poetic case does. Also the foldableness is kind of useless since it doesn't work all that well.
Thank god it was only $5.99 for it
