How do you turn off the Notification "Beep" what occurs when you a Dial number before the call goes though. I know it in settings somewhere because I have turned OFF before but I flashed a Gingerbread ROM and I just don't see it. I know am just missing it somewhere.
Thanks

I was just wondering if there was a way to get call forwarding back into the phone settings? It was there before I flashed cognition, does anyone know if there is a fix?
Thanks
It's there. I just used it today.

Thank you so much, I was looking under all calls for some reason.
I feel rather silly for asking this, but I cannot find where to change the text message tone for this phone.
Any clue where?
Settings, Notifications, Notification sound.
See pictures.

This is the 4th time I've seen someone give that exact answer, and I still cannot find that. My "Settings" doesn't have a "notification" tab on the first page.I can go to personalize, but it doesn't show SMS. It just shows Ringtone and Notification Sound.
If I go to the "sound" tab, I see "Ringtone" and one more "notification sound" but NOTHING about SMS.
Edit: I have gone though EVERY tab in the "settings" and there is not a single mention of SMS or anything besides "notification" sound, which only changes what I hear when I get Gmail and Facebook status

Heh. No, I wasn't. I've never had a phone have those settings located inside the app itself. Thank you very much c:

Sorry if this in the wrong spot but need some help with GV not working now. (kicked Apple to the curb so this is my first go at this w/ the Note 3)
If my GV # is called it will not ring my phone like it did when I set it up a week ago. You can leave a VM and it will show up in the stock phone call log, show up in GV app inbox and translate. If I dial a number from the stock phone it will ask if I want to dial with GV or not and that works. But my phone will not ring if that GV number is dialed. The phone use to ring and then if it was my Google # I had to press 1 to answer the call.
I uninstalled GV a couple times and restarted the phone but that didn't work either!
I installed Phone for Google Voice until I can get this back working correctly and yes if I dial my GV# this new app rings and I can now get calls with my phone.
Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Hi,
I just flashed cyanogenmod 11 and noticed there is no voicemail number set. Im not sure if there is a number by area your in so I'm from Schererville, In also where in settings do I change this?
Thanks!
Just use your phone number as voicemail number. That works for me.
And for the settings: phone app>call settings>voicemail>setup

Hello
You might want to check on that phone number. I have At&t in the Chicagoland area and it is a total different number than my actual cell phone number. You want to go to the dialer and go to settings and navigate to voicemail. Its in there.

Yeah, there should be a default AT&T voicemail # but sometimes when you flash ROMs the number is deleted. Using your own # will have the same effect as if you have the default #

Go to the call forwarding section in the phone (dialer) settings and you'll find your true voice mail number...

After I updated to Kitkat (and then did a factory reset, as my battery drained faster than it could recharge), I noticed the call log disappeared.
When I enter the phone app, the screen is empty. If I click "filter call log", and select missed calls, it shows them, but non of the other options (incoming, outgoing, etc.) work. Has anyone else had this issue? anyone know how to fix it?
So far, this update is utter sh*t. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't updated yet, to stay away from the kitkat update. No improvements, only a ton of bugs.
Go to call log - filter - unselect all calls and check only incoming or outgoing. Those will be displayed. Now clear the entire call log. From now, all the calls will be displayed properly

Had a situation where the call log on the phone app was ok, but the recent calls widget said call log empty. Came upon your solution via Google search, and voila! Solved! :highfive:
