When I cleared the storage on my tilt, I lost my default text message sound. If someone can post the sound file, I'd appreciate it. Or at least let me know what the name of the file is. I believe this is specific to AT&T.
I did some searching and someone said it was "at&t_notify.wav" but thats not the right one. Its similar, but that's the sound it would make for overdue calendar events.
Thanks in advance.

hey guys.
Just a simple request to those who you have the time to do so.
I recently installed Gtrab's W4X WM6.5 Cooked Rom but didn't realise it had a lot of the ringtones included with the xperia missing.
I've searched the forums and found the odd file containing ringtones taken from handsets but they are different tones.
Could you please copy and zip all the ringtones from the Windows folder from a default Xperia rom and upload it to the internet for me please
Cheers,
Hyped
I need them too. can somebody please post them?
Thank you
Press me softly....
Thank you for your help, however, unfortunately, these are not the ringtones I need.
I'm not sure where they're saved but there are some ringtones called like Alarm1, Alarm2, Alarm3 and such. And it's in this location I need the ringtones. I think they are scattered throughout the Windows folder admist the system files.
So, could you possible collect and zip these please

Extract the rar file on your computer, connect device via active sync, once syncing click "explore" and your my documents folder should be visible, move the extracted mp3 ringtones to this folder. Hope that helps
Thx
But does anybody have also the ringtones for sms ?
There is one ringtone, i really miss on the ROMĀ“s, but i do not remember the name
Its gonna be difficult if you don't have the name. I used dreamland on the stock rom.

There is a thread or two around here somewhere with a link to all the OEM ringtones / sounds etc. I'm not sure what it was titled though.
It was a rar file and nearly 38mB in size.
:edit Found it. I used the top secret 'Search' button. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=526164

Hello to everyone who is reading this.
I have just recently installed Cyanogen's 3.6.8.1 ROM, after rooting it. I much prefer the phone like this, but there are some things in the original I would like to put back, such as my notification ringtone called "Ta Da", (funny as hell for a ringtone, you should give it a listen) but in this new ROM, it's not there. Also, I live in Portugal, and here, phone numbers don't have dashes in the middle. Since installing it (the ROM), I probably got a US version, I have been seeing dashes in the "incoming call" screen and on the call log.
Can anyone explain if there's a way to put the ringtone back in and remove the dashes?
Just a warning, although I understand instructions on how to root, I'm a total noob when it comes to programming issues, so please be patient.
Thanks for your time and I hope this was posted in the right section.
Peace
To answer the question about the phone number format, I know there is an application listed in the thread that you can download and it will change the format of the numbers. I know it will change the format of the numbers in your contacts, but it might have an option for incoming calls, I'm not sure I never used it.

As for your other request, try this thread, I think you will find it helpful seeing as you just have to place the ringtones in an audio folder on your sdcard and there is not additional modding necessary as it appears the phone will recognize the folder on your sdcard

Thanks, that solved all my issues
hi guys .
i create XAP Ringtone by " ChevronWP7.RingtoneInstaller " . install xap Ringtone But when change the ringtone for NEW SMS by Advanced Config , in the setting for NEW SMS , show the None !!!
help ...
No answer ?!!!
actually same thing happened to me, there isn't anything there, and im also wondering how to make it appear in there. if there is a specific folder we need to add it to or something :/
so in the mean time i just went ahead and did it the other "hard" way went into the windows folder and got my sms ringtone i wanted and renamed it to one of the sms tones i didn't care too much for and replaced it, too bad it basically is the same name and i can't change it to something else.
I think it has something to do with registry values maybe? i don't know but you should try this in the mean time since im not sure of anything else. if anyone else can help it would be apreciated. in the mean time, i hope i helped for now
There is a ringtone on the stock software called something like "Spagnolia" I think. It is an amalgamation of sounds from cell phone/speaker interference. Could someone upload that please?
You should be able to find it in /system/media/audio/ringtones/
I'm sure you will probably find it, or someone will get it for you, but I believe in ICS it went by another name too. "Radiation" I think.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0SVXxlQe-4 This one, right?
This page has links to all the stock wallpapers and ringtones: http://androidadvices.com/download-stock-wallpapers-ringtones-apps-jellybean-42-lg-nexus-4/
I got a missing ringtone that way myself, and it looks like your Spagnola is there too.
Awesome, thank you so much. I only tried searching for the name of it, I don't know why I didn't think to search for a stock ringtone pack lol
