I like to use Battery Indicator so I don't need to have the 2nd battery icon in the title bar but could not find any way to disable it. Is this in the settings somewhere that I am just not seeing?
Thanks!
I believe it is the Super Circle Mod, which uses a modified framework-res.apk. You may be able to pull the standard CM framework-res.apk from the CM ROM, and replace it. The CM battery has an option to disable it...

I was wondering if there is a simple guide to remove the battery icon completely from the status bar. My search has so far shown me links for sense based roms only. I am currently running enom's rom and would appreciate a heads up as to the name of the jar or services file within the rom that controls the icons.
thanks in advance.
You could open up the framework res, open the icon files and just erase the contents and resave. Then just make a metamorph with the empty files.
I would rather remove it completely...replacing with transparent icons will put an empty spot on the status bar.
I'm interested to remove the clock from the status bar!!
Any idea?
You can hide the clock if you're using CyanogenMod.
As for battery, I'd like to know that too as I'm using an app that shows battery in the status bar already, so system battery icon is redundant.
How can I install CyanogenMod? I use a stock rom
Just put stock 2.3.4 on my Nexus, and had no notification bar shortcuts (i.e. wifi, bluetooth). Then I rooted it again and added Cyanogen 7 to find that my shortcuts have disappeared. Any way I can get these back?
Did you try rebooting the phone?
Is it enabled in the Cyanogenmod settings?
Notification on the status bar are not included in the stock the rom.
They should be on by default on cm7 though. Cm settings interface tweaks....and turn them off/customize it.

If you are asking for the APK, That would be systemui.apk inside System/App/
You might try the UOT Kitchen (just google it) to modify the notification bar. But I must say that I did have some problems using it for mySGS.
Of you are talking about blue notification. Bar than it is a feature. Of cyanogen mod and can also be found in jetpack rom and many other roms too.

It looks like my battery icon is off when it comes to the actual power left in it. It'll read 50 on switchpro and in the battery panel but appear to be 80-90% in the status bar.
Its the stock battery icon. Didn't notice this on my original d3. Is there something I can do to maybe fix it?

Try sense5 toolbox. You can get the old green battery back if you want.
