[Help] Changing Latitude Font Color

How would I go about changing the colors of the text in Latitude? I'm guessing that I would have to edit the XML, but I wasn't really too sure what was going on when I opened it up in a Hex Editor.
Basically I just want to change the person's name and the subtext, the location, to white.

Anyone...?

Thanks Rori, but I'm actually using Metamorph. I just need someone to help me edit the XML as I don't really understand the binary code affecting the colors.
I'm guessing the files I need to edit are:
friend_item_text_color.xml
friend_item_text_color_secondary.xml

Can anyone please help?

Is this even what I'm supposed to be looking at?

As the other poster said, use apktool (apktool d *apk* *directory*). This will decompile the apk into human legible text, which you can then edit (I'm assuming the widget text will be kept somewhere in re/layout). After making your changes, recompile using apktool (apktool b *directory*), place the changed xml in the metamorph. Done

I want to change this bar color from pink to green.
I searched it on farmework-res.apk.
But i can't find it.

I may be wrong I have a very limited amount of theming know how. But I believe you would need to edit status_bar_horizontal.xml (I think that's what it is called)
Like I said I may be wrong but at least this will give the thread a bump.

Forget everyhting I said, I'm wrong I never opened the picture untill just now and from the thumb nail I thought it was a picture of you notification bar and was showing download progress. Sorry I'm an idiot.
but I still think its an xml file your looking for

Looking at Dont Panic's morphs my guess would be progress_horizontal.xml in /res/drawable.

I've done that but there's always a black box around the icon.

Why in strings.xml?
That only changes what it says
Most likely they are at styles.xml

There is a guide by zdunex out there somewhere named guide for thememers or basic tips. (Something like that. I don't remember correctly).
It will show you how to do it. Just search it on the main Android themes forum.
