Woohoo, I figured out how to do it! I've attached a thumbnail of the new screenshot with no clock. I have also posted the services.zip I made.
Feel free to use it, I am using it for the andromeda 3 rom....I can only say that it works for me. Use it at your own risk.
Thanks!

Hi, I've been trying to find a way to remove the status bar clock. But nothing I've found will work for the Andromeda 3 rom.
If someone would be so kind to edit the services.jar for me, just to remove the clock.
Please help make my sweet homescreen even sweeter!

Haven't done anything myself with a services.jar, though I did find the following. Here's the manual method, as well as some .zips someone made. I doubt they will work as they were made using the HTC Droid Incredible, but it was what I could find at the time. Not responsible if you try to flash these and a brick happens!

Yup, I tried those....don't work. The rom is the Armani I9010. None of the threads have a services.jar for this (pretty sure it's JL1). I tried a couple just to see, but got boot looping. I posted my services.jar in that thread hoping for the guy to make me one, but I think that thread is pretty dead.....sadly!
I've attached the file below.

Been searching for this and can not find a flashable zip for this. Only in peoples ROM's or Hero metamorph. Anyone point me in the right direction of where I can find this or how to jack it from a ROM. Thanks in advance.

here is a forum for flashable and metamorph...the metamorph may work on an non sprint rom cant say for sure but I have flashed the Rotary style for the sprint based rom I'm running on my eris no problem. Hope this helps. If you're using an eris based rom maybe one of our devs will port it.

Thanks for quick reply. Been there, tried that. I am using a personal ROM based off Aloysius which is a Sprint ROM and the metamorph looks like it works and then endless fc's. I can actually see the rotary lockscreen but once I unlock it, hello fc's.

Did you remove the HtcLockscreen.apk prior to morphing or flashing? You said personal rom...did you maybe remove something that could have broken sense? I am actually using it on Aloysius v11 maps with no issues.

No, didnt remove anything. Its based off Aloysius v6 Maps with time removed from tool bar, oc patch, added circle battery and lockscreen is removed by default in that verison.
So you are saying you use MM and applied to v11 maps and it worked? I have a NAND, so I guess I will give it a shot.

no, sorry. =(
i know nothing about how to make them or anything,. sorry
Back on subject, I tested it with v11 maps and you are correct that it worked. But this still doesnt help me, lol. Dont understand why it wont work with v6 as its based off a Sprint ROM
EDIT: So it seems to be the update I used to add the circle battery that is killing metamorph for v6 as I tried it for v11 and it killed it as well. Now that I got that figured out.
Hi!
I have been trying to extract the theme from this ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=869408
It looks awesome and I want to add some animations from a different ROM and use it with Darkys or Assonance for example but this seems to be much harder than I though unless someone has a quick and easy for dummies procedure for poor me that is.
It should be as easy as extracting the framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk, mms.apk, bootanimation.zip and fonts as that is what is listed as being themed in the ROM thread. Then use the theme porter posted in the Android Themes section of XDA to inject them in your apk's, then manually change whatever didn't copy over.

mmm sounds simple when you say it lol I will need to dig deep here it seems but that is a good post to point me towards the right path
I usually just extract the framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk from the ROM I am taking the theme from and the ROM I want to put it in, then I copy the res/drawable-hdpi folder from the old apk into the new one. It is a quick/dirty method, and wont let you change font colors or add a circle battery mod to one without it, but I have never had problems with it before.
You also have to be sure it is compatible with the rom you are using. Some roms have different xml code behind and if you simply put the framework and tw framework in your rom you risk getting fc at boot and not getting past them.

Both are JPY Roms so I hope that is enough. I guess worst thing that could happen is having to flash again

Try first with /system/framework/framework-res.apk and /system/framework/twframework-res.apk
I'm attaching a cwm zip file that has those files as found in Doc's 6.1 rom.
Just replace them with the files from whatever rom you want and keep that as a backup in case something goes wrong. It will save you from reflashing
If both are JPY roms then it shouldn't be an issue.
I tried doing what Ryukeima mentioned but I ended up with a Frankenstein of a theme as not all things from the them I wanted came over to the new one!
This is going to require some practice. That ROM has also some very nice Icons for Launcher Pro so is going to be another thing to look for..in fact I think I could be happy just getting those Icons.

Rip all the framework folder. Make a CWM zip and flash it over your ROM. It should work without problems. Then try to either apply animations on UOT kitchen or inject them with metamorph.

Sorry for my noobness...Just trying to learn this stuff
So if i rip out all framework folders from one rom and manually replace them in another rom (like i did for kernel..replacing zimage file)...will it work?
Also, can anyone tell me how to make a CWM zip...i know there is a post for that on XDA but i am not able to find it...

To answer the first question, it won't straight out work. You have to add the images to the file 'framework-res.apk' in the 'drawable-hdpi' folder located within it. Different framework-res.apk's will differ from ROM to ROM, and will just FC or bootloop your phone if you use one that it doesn't like. That's why most themes have the ROM they will work with posted in the title. If it is the same base ROM (in the case of my phone, running Assonance, any JK3 theme will work), then it is as simple as drag & drop. But if it's between say Axura and Assonance, it would have to be manually changed as stated above, since there may be subtle differences in the framework.
As for the second question, here ya go

If the theme was made for JPY and the Rom you want to put it on is JPY, it should work. However, there are sometimes system apps which need to be installed with the theme. Easyest thing would be to rip it off, put it on your rom and see if it works. Experiment a bit, thats how you'll learn.
thanks and thanks.
Its really interesting to have a full control of your phone....so i am enjoying learning this stuff....tried using UOT kitchen but got errors...

There's plenty of jpy based themes in the i9000>theme section.
You could metamorph it if it doesn't require any xml edits... it looks like Marilyn img edits which could be taken foment that rom..

i have a question along these same lines. if one wanted to copy the notification pulldown from a different ROM|theme, how would you do so? im using Perception 9.5 which is built on JK3, but the Androdena theme is built on JPX files. all i want is the notification pulldown elements. can you just copy those image files over and go? i always see themers talking about 9.pngs and i was just wondering if they'd prohibit just a simple copy from one tw-framework to another.
Ive had my Aria for months but just switched to the cm7 ROM(Ive been running FR008 for a while and I know its not themable) and I was wondering how I could change the icons and colors of my status bar. I saw this picture with a blue status bar and thought it looked really nice. So can anyone help me get started? Thanks in advance.

In CM6 you used to be able to customize through the ROM. Since that hasn't been added [yet] to CM7, you'll probably have to pull your framework-res.apk from /system/framework (or use root explorer to copy it to your SD card and then email it to yourself or use some other method to get it to your computer). Once you get it on the computer you'll need to extract the files with WinRAR or some other alternative and then go into the folders and edit what you want with your image manipulation program of choice. After that, zip it back up (as a .APK) then make a flashable zip, copy it to your phone and flash it with clockwork.
This is all speculation (because it's with CM7) and may not work, so as always, do not forget to make an android back up.

ThemePro is a great little tool that can help you pull files, has some basic ADB commands, and other theming stuff. It is really great--I have been using it for awhile now:

+1 find the proper theme and flash it through CWM.
Can't find theme
I know you said to look for the proper theme and that it be JPY compatible, but I can't find anything in the themes and apps section. I'm pretty new to all of this and I probably can't recognize what I'm supposed to be looking for. I've been searching for threads with the same topic, but I'm not coming across any. Any further help would great. Thanks.
You should be able to get them from the Serendipity website Mikey has created.
Mikey doesn't have them on his website. I did find a thread that had them attached and said to just replace the current settings.apk in the system then app folder. Does this seem legit?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848533
I think the only issue with that is you might break some settings (i.e not be able to get to certain lock screens).
I would as in his dev forum to make sure though before flashing it.
Or... at least backup the current one before putting that one on the phone so you could restore it if something bad happens.
There are few colored settings icons on this thread. See if they appeal to u. These should go with any JPY based ROM.
Code:

I found someone who posted the colored icon settings.apk for serendipity. I have yet to try it. I will later and will post my results.

My request is a zip file to remove clock from the taskbar. If this is done already, please point me in the right direction. I have OTA 2.2, rooted, and I deodexed with xUltimate, pretty much stripped all bloatware. Am using the UOT Kitchen to do a battery as we speak, but would like to get rid of the clock in the taskbar. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
**EDIT
apparently the UOT Kitchen doesnt like my framework-res. uploaded and only changed to castaway battery and get tnoghing but force closes...grrrrr! any suggestions here too is appreciated.
Hrm. There's one to RESTORE it. But remove it... hm. Not sure.
The sbrissen mod includes clock options. Install it using clockwork. Then once booted, go into settings--> date and time and you'll find what you need.

Pretty sure that's a service.jar edit. I haven't seen a zip just yet but I'm sure if there's interest someone will put something together.

Sbrissen mods include the option to remove the clock amongst many other things
We don't bother making remove clock service jars anymore when his mods allow u to change it on the fly rather than fully removing it like we used to have to
Just flash his mods
Sbrissen mod was just what I needed. Thank you all. Now if I can just find a way to change the stock battery to "Castaway" id be set. Im not much for acc bat. Thanks again.
