Hi everybody, my first message here
few days ago i got my new Qtek 2020i... but i have some problems with it..
1) sometimes (expecially when activly using) I hear single flicks(sounding very likly elecric discharges) from device...(even when sound is off)... last time i noticed that it sounded at the moment I quit program and memory it used was released... but sometimes it flics just when standing in cradle.... does anyone have same noisy sounds? or it's damaged device, and I should replace it?
2) I can't close dialing screen... I installed spb plus plugin which makes programs really close when you press X button.. it works, but it refuses to close dialing screen - when i press top rignt corner shortly - it blinks with phone screens I just used(exacly them - if I pressed on "quick call" button, then returned and clicked on history of calls and returned again - it will fastly show that 4 screens in that order) and returns to dialing screen again.... I can exit it only by holding top right corner button for 3 sec's or start button... but it still holds "phone" task in memory(spb plus shows it.... but there is now such task until I use phone for the first time after soft reset) - and if I use phone again - the number of screens I'll see on exit will increase and increase untill I make soft reset.... Of course I can always exit by long pressing the button... but it's annoying, and maybe there is another solution?... is that my software problem? or it's windows bug?
ps thanks for nice forum, I already found a lot of usefull info here =)
Hi.
I have an odd behaviour of my S730/Wings. Say i make regular phonecall. No matter how long it is, 5 seconds or 5 minutes, the moment i hang up the call, the keyboard lock kicks in. A co-worker with the same phone doesn't have this issue, and i cant seem to figure out a way to switch it off. It is rather annoying
Anyone know how to solve this issue, so that the phone locks up only when left alone for some time, or with holding down the red button?
Any help is deeply appreciated

When you end a call... are you holding the end call (red) button, or just tapping it?
I just tap it, i'm aware of the hold-down-red-button-to-lock-keypad. So i cant understand why it locks up...

Help! HTC raphael - tried every rom there is and still can't believe all the buttons I have to push to end a call and go home. First, the screen blacks out while on a call, so when the call is over I have to hit the power button to bring the screen back, then hit the end button (assuming the screen hasn't magically gone to something else), then hit an x button to leave the caller's page, then hit the home button, then the power button to turn off the screen again.
Does anyone know of an app that can simply end a call and go home with one touch? Maybe a better dialer is what I mean? Thanks.
Mortscript & button mapping could resolve this.
I can't tell if this issue is with the specific ROM I'm using, or if it's just a Lollipop issue in general. During phone calls, the screen goes black (as it should) when I bring the phone to my ear, but now with Lollipop ROMs, most of the time when I pull the phone away, the screen stays black instead of coming back on. Normally, the screen would illuminate when I pull the phone away, but now it doesn't always work correctly. This is particularly annoying at the end of a call when I would normally touch 'end call', but now I have to wait for the caller on the other end to hang up before the screen comes on. Anybody else notice this?
I'm running gruesomewolf's GPE version 1 and I noticed it. I can usually just press the power button and the screen comes back on though.
A workaround
I also have noticed this problem, and i am 100 positive it is a lollipop problem, nothing wrong with the sensor (otherwise the screen wouldn't turn off when it comes close to your ear) nor the ROM (also present in the stock ROM), One solution i found is to set the power button to end the call, this option can be found in Settings>accessibility.

That's a good idea although if you had to use your phone while on a call to look something up or press the keypad, pressing power to turn on the screen will also hang up the call. But, if you never have that issue, your workaround is :good:
One more solution

You can also enable DoubleTap2Wake by using a custom kernel.
Same problem on TMo m7
Last week I upgraded to Android 5.0.2 on my TMo HTC One m7.
Since then when I remove the device from next to my head during a phone call the screen stays black.
This means I cannot use a keypad to navigate a phone menu or to enter a PIN.
I can tap the power button to re-awaken the screen but it takes several seconds to come back - and sometimes stays dark.
This is a mild nuisance if simply trying to end a call but is a major issue if I'm trying to use an IVR (this device is, after all, a PHONE!)
I have run the HTC Function test on the phone and the P-Sensor test runs fine.
Hey folks,
Sometimes like 1 out of 10-15 calls for some reason it seems I can't answer the call or hang it up. I have to wait it out and even if I slide the green icon on the phone does nothing, it just sits there and I have to wait up untill the person hangs up so I can do anything. After this I can call and pick up the phone no problem but ones in a wile this thing will happen again.
Any one know why is this happening is there something triggering this, or how to fix it?
I have no lockscreen, no password nothing, just power button and the home screen where you have to swipe that's all, if that matters even.
