I had the places app on my home screen yesterday and now it somehow says when I open it, that I don't have that app installed. The icon is still there, looks like a place holder icon. So, how do I get it back?

I don't want to sound condescending, but you shouldn't start a new thread for this kind of question. Instead, post it in the KaosFroyo thread. Also make sure to search before you post anything.

Sorry, at most forums I visit, creating a new thread would be the best way to get an answer instead of adding it to an existing thread. I guess this place is different. I'll remember that next time =]
Also, I did a search, came up empty. I'm not new to the internet.... I search then ask. That's why I posted here. Thanks.

Actually he's right about your post...should be in themes n apps or in kaos thread not Dev. Stuff
But into mraket and uninstall then reinstall your app

Hey Guys,
Just curious if anyone has pushed the froyo youtube.apk to their fascinate, and, if so, could I grab the apk?
I saw in the "Post your homescreen" thread that it was mentioned in reference to the screenshot spotmark uploaded (see post here), but have only seen links to the apk in the Evo and Nexus forums. Searched both google and xda too and found nothing. Am I just not seeing it?

This is great, but would they flash correctly on the Thunderbolt? I think the TB's boot animations dont go into the 'standard' folder if I am not mistaken......
Really? You posted a link to this very site, and not to mention it is a thread that is a year old. If you had done any research you would've noticed that BlindType was purchased by Google.
Agreed...blindtype is very cool but without a leaked apk this thread is just pointless link to an old thread...

I think that system/media/Bootanimation.zip is the file that needs to be replaced. After download change any different file name to Bootanimation.zip and put in this folder using root explorer.

Dude, stop spamming. 5 of the most recent 10 threads in this section are yours and are literally pointless. All you are doing is linking other threads that are either old news or can be found elsewhere with a simple click of the search button. are you looking for the docks themselves or app drawer icons?
the docks are in post 4 of the of thread, just click on the pics to download the set.
i think geo only released 1 icon, he's been under the weather, so if your looking for the other icons...look below
