nope, ive already gotten 2 off ebay in prep for my phone in 2 weeks One was a neoprene sleeve and the other was a customized on from a company that makes cases to order for everything. go search ebay for htc hd2 and htc leo and you will see them.

It looks awesome, it really does, but 80E...u gotta b kidding m...No way...in any world... Leo is relaxing quietly and peacefully since August on Tynt II leather official HTC case and fits awesomely....
If Peil ws cheaper, then yeah, why not...But...being handmade, does not necessarily make it soooo expensive...

80€ for a leather case OMG is it bullet proof or something?

I think this is a good place for cases for the HD2.
You're own disign with a very good quality, but it's not super cheap.

Are the ones you found slightly rubberised at all?
I am maybe looking at a kind of silicon case, to protect the back and edges of the phone.

But for the HD2 of course

^ I've used that Silicon Case on my HD and it is great protection from scrapes and scratches. Will be getting one for my future HD2...

I tried a number of cases with my Blackstone, including the InvisibleSHILELD, which was difficult to fit but really did protect well; I removed it eventually because made the case too thick to fit in my brodit car mount. In the end the most simple case has proved the best. It is a pouch with a draw cord which does not attract lint like the original boxed case does. Bought for 4.99E at a local T-Mobile shop.

There is a case with the phone. I think he would know, as he owns one.
Also, from the user manual:

Stupid Ass, the one you saw is just the prototype used for testing, not for sale, Check out youtube again before asking such a question, it's kinda annoying.

Keep an eye with the Capdase brand, it has the best rubber skin for HTC Touch HD, at least it is the best for me.......

not at all. the one i got custom is by far the highest quality case ive seen and trust me, ive bought a ton of a cases lol. You cant even bend the thing and its lined with pigskin suede. Very rigid, has a leather rigid belt clip that holds really tight. i love belt clips but you can customize it with a lot of clips. even has may name inscribed on it lol. took 2 weeks to get to me but it had to be "made" i got it from ebay at this link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370271766156&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT maybe not for everyone but i love it

I am glad there is a case included but I have seen two boxes in store with the NL version of the HD2 WITHOUT cases. Probably my mistake also!

will UK hd2 htc Gel cases fit onto US HD2?

i couldn't find any result in search and google. Did anyone try to put a international HD2 gel cases onto a us t-mobiloe hd2 phone?

not they are not. US T-mobile (TMOUS) HD2 is slightly longer by 1.5-2mm i believe.
Gel cases for the international hd2 should fit the tmous HD2 fine imo.

Otterbox Defender, Ask For It!

I went to check up on otterbox today, to see the progress on any new cases for the HD2 and sure enough a Defender for the International version is already out for it for $54. I bought a communter made for the international version for my T-Mobile HD2 and it fits perfect, but I know for a fact that the Defender series has a tighter fit and most likely won't be the same. So here I ask, does anyone have any info on an upcoming Defender for the T-Mobile HD2? I figured since the International has one, the U.S. surely will as well. I already knew about that thread, and have posted in it as well.... this is just for a defender case. Not a commuter. That is where I got my inspiration for this thread....

What's that commuter case all about? It says in the description that it's full coverage, but the pics tell a different story.

The commuter case is like a defender but slimmer and offers less protection. The Defender is water resistant to an extent so you could use it in the rain without it getting wet, it's thicker, it's just an all around better case. My sister has one for ehr iPhone and drops it constantly with it still in perfect condition.

i have the defender case for my 3GS as well...worth every penny.
i was going to purchase the commuter for my HD2...i will hold off for the defender case now.

Yea, i'm going to return mine now and get a Defender when It comes out. Please suggest people!

Done! I was gonna get the Commuter, but the Defender seems to have much better protection and has a belt clip .... Nice!

I think you might have seen the international version, not the US.

Krusell Case for HD2?

I have a T-Mobile USA HD2 on order, which should be arriving in a couple of days.
I like Krusell cases, and the various kinds of clips and holders one could use with them. I use the leather belt holder, and the bicycle and car holders.
I see a Krusell case for the HTC HD2:

Looks nice.
However, I believe I have read in a post here or somewhere, that a case for the (European) HD2, won't fit the T-Mobile USA HD2.
As this one just is listed for HTC HD2, and Krusell is a European company (Sweden), I assume it is for the original model.
Are the dimensions of the two phones different--original model, and T-Mo USA? Is there anything different about placement of ports, buttons, etc.?
If not, and the only difference is in the 3G bands, I don't see how a case for one wouldn't work on the other.
Could anyone clarify?

Ya, basically what suryo88 said. It isn't much longer but it is enough to keep some cases from fitting correctly. This is a page that compares the two so you can see.

Of course that was a pre-release Tmo model in the Pocketnow article. I assume that the final one probably had the same dimensions.
Anyone tried that Krusell case?
With width and depth identical, where could that type of case go wrong, with extra length? Perhaps the flip cover wouldn't close properly?

It just depends on how the case is constructed and how it holds the phone and all that. Like with the OtterBox cases they can crack if you have the wrong version. So if any part of the case you're curious about is hard plastic or something there is a chance it could break if not fitted correctly. I have no clue though, that's all assumption.

[Q] {REQUEST} Belt Pouch that fits?

Has anyone bought or knows of a Belt Pouch case for the HD7 that actually fits the HD7 and has a magnetic clasp.
I have tried two different cases from two different amazon businesses and neither was big enough, they don't bother checking, getting my money back on both but need to find one that DOES fit the HD7 fine.

Only issue is that it's not leather. It's some sort of leather replica material made out of rubber which gave it a strong rubber smell when I took it out of the package. The smell has disapated over the days.

Good warranty and prices too as it's free worldwide shipping, just need to wait and see what turns up now.

I'm looking for a holster myself. they have one for the iphone that alows you to have a your case on the phone and it fits in the holster.

Sorry to say. That I actually have\had that case for my HD2. And the stitching on the inside was a little poor and where the brown on the inside met the black on the outside was misaligned very noticeably. Overall, it was just poor build quality. I actually have this case http://www.cellularoutfitter.com/p-...ontal-leather-carrying-pouch-for-htc-hd7.html and it works perfect too. I actually bought it for my HD2 also. And it fits just fine on the HD7. I actually believe I paid less than 12.00 for it, but can't find or remember the site.

Ha, forgot I had started this thread, I got my 2 cases from PDair, both came in nice boxes and were very nicely finished. Designed specifically for the HD7 and they fit perfectly when they came, been using it every day for last 3months and it's great.
