Amons Recovery and Apps2sd

I am sorry for being the billionth person to ask this. But how the hell do you do this? I need a way to do this with out using the sdk thing. I am running the Ubuntu SuperD rom, found here on this site. If i need to switch to the the CM i can if it is easer to do so. Your help would be much appreciated. I have tried to do this soooo many times, Also if once i get apps2sd working. if i switch between roms, all my apps will still be on my sd and i don't have to reinstall anything right?
How do you do what? Setup Apps2SD? Or do you need help flashing Amon's recovery? Or what?
Apps2SD is automatic. You just need an ext partition. Instructions for Amon's recovery are in his thread. There are also instructions for creating an ext partition, on this forum and elsewhere, if you just use the search feature. If you really need help, and can't find it, ask--but not here. Questions go in the Q(estion)&A section. If you ask them here, a mod will lock the thread before we can properly answer it. So, go search, read, search some more, then post in the right forum.
The aps2sd. When i download new apps they go in the internal mem. How do i automatically save them to SD? My internal mem 70.10 mb
apparently you cant read
so long as you have a CUSTOM rom such as CM and an EXT2,3, or 4 partition on the SD card, it gets done automatically with all future apps

Make SD card partitions writable?

Hey all,
I'm trying to make my SD card partitions writable within Ubuntu so I can get all the wallpapers and ringtones I want on one build. What's the easiest way to do that?
Pandemic
EDIT: I figured it out. A mod can delete this thread unless anyone wants to know how to do this.

[Q] Format SD Card as ext4 and Mount?

Hi,
I have a question. What file under the path "/" issues the "mount" command for the SD cards? I've looked in all the ".rc" files, and can't find it. My goal is to change the commands so that I can format my SD card in its entirety as ext4 and have the system mount the partitions at boot.
I've searched google, I've searched here, and all I get is redirects to voodoo lag fix or to threads where people's cards don't work. I'm experimenting and would appreciate any input that you guys have. Thank you very much!
Good question. If i were you i would pm desinggears or the gurus in the i9000 forums like ryanza and supercurio and tatuyama
Yay no more fc

[Q] How to install new ICS 28e Leak?

I know the question which I am asking is stupid but still I need some clarifications. As I am not able to post on any on the threads hence I have created this question.
Currently I am on lite version as per following
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1959545
now if I wish to go for full version it is suggested that I should increase the /system partition size of 512+ mb
As I am not a programmer I am always searching for some threads which are user friendly and help me achieve my target.
I searched for
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969797&highlight=nvflash+system+partition
Now the questions?
1. will this tool format my internal sd card? if so I need to take back up on external SD card and then I need to flash it again?
2. will it change my existing CWM recovery option and do I need to make the installation again?
Awaiting your answers.

Hi,
1) yes this will format completely your internal SD, because the resizes your memory (partitions).
2) Yes this will delete CWM, you have to do the installation again. You will need the attached CWM version for the ICS leak,
because the partion layout is completely different to GB.
With the toolkit attached to provided here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969797&highlight=nvflash+system+partition
you can restore your GB partitions.
-You have to do a nandroid backup first. Backup your internal SD.
-With NVflash you can restore your GB partion layout and restore your CWM backup.

Help ! Want To Increase Internal Memory
And Is There Any Custom Recovery Out There For This Phone ? That Works With Locked Boot loader ?
Bump !
No, you cant make it work. Unless you modify anything on ROM (that's a lot of file and massive work) then it can work...
And yes, there already have recovery for LB. Search around XDA....
