hope you like the bugs :d ... That rom is a leaked early stage. HOLD ON, HOW IS IT OFFICIAL? CAN YOU BACK UP THAT TMO AND HTC WAS THE ORIGINATORS OF IT? SETTLE DOWN AND WAIT TILL 1-20.

well as far as i can tell, the rom was not created by anyone from xda, tmo or htc does not lay any claims to it, so therefore i will not be testing it on my device. its too risky, and i dont have the dough to shell out for a new tp2 if mine gets bricked. its like sharing the same cup, someones bound to give you herpes.

There Most Definantly aint no bugs..... Ive been on since leaked.... Will see what the diff is when the 1-20 is released, but dont be scared to flash it and try it, No ones had a problem flashing it why should you.....
Its fast and smooth, Time to flash in a week though......

When the ROM was first leaked, the link was directly from HTC. I was one of the first to download before they removed it. It was straight from HTC's website.

I've been running the leaked version the day it leaked, only problem I have is that it uses a lot of ram thats all
I have been using the leaked rom for a couple of days now and it is really buggy, laggy, and uses alot of ram. I honestly i liked the TIMOR 9 Rom better and i really hoped this leaked version is not the final, come on 1-20-10
With the buildbots not up yet, I've been working on a little project in secret for a while. I call it Cyanobread. My plan here is to make a CM7 that has all of CM 6.1's bells and whistles before the CM7 team does. Some patches I will probably submit, and some will be only for this ROM as they go against the ideas of what Cyanogen wants. I haven't decided yet if I will keep this updated once the buildbots come back. If it divulges from the CM7 project significantly than probably.... otherwise I will just keep this as a mod for a few patches you can add to CM7.
My philosophy behind doing this ROM is the fact that I love CM6 and have used the nightlies as my daily driver and was very dissapointed 7 wasn't up on the buildbots.
Even though this is mostly a CM7Src ROM, please report any bugs here and I will do my best to either report them to the CM Team or fix them myself if I can. Same thing goes for any features you'd like to see added.
My approach to deving is a very collaborative one. Invisiblek, jladronka and DS36 will be helping me with this project. If any other devs would like to help, please shoot me a PM. The more the merrier, I really want to see a nice group project out of this.

well this has been an in work project for a few weeks... finally had a full compile this morning but was missing some apps.... so i decidedd to make clean and do it again... first time my laptop blue screened, then it hibernated because I forgot to plug it in.... I'm thinking within a few hours.
I'm looking forward to this.
Back in my Blackberry days we used to call these Hybrids. Some of the most functional, stable BB OSs were patched together from different OSs or even bits and pieces from different phones.
Of course, some hybrids were the biggest train wrecks also...

sorry for not getting this out tonight... I had a few minor setbacks. Teaser installer video coming in a few minutes. Right now, it is completely stock CM, and you can think of the teaser as a .5 of sorts. v1 will be out tomorrow I promise. Very minor tweaks that I am going to do to start out with.
Excuse my ignorance, whats the point? Isn't CM7 the best of 6 and 7 all rolled into one sprinkled over some Gingerbread?

This ^^ I'm running gridlock's CM 7 latest build and so far, it's got all the mods that CM6.# has, on GB.
What exactly are you planning on adding that it doesn't already have?

Cause I went from Cm6.1 to to 7 up to the latest 32, and there's nothing at all that has made me say "Oh damn, I miss that from CM6". CM7 has TONS more tweaks, and a pretty bad ass music player.
Glad to see I'm not the only one wondering what the point of this is...
when i started this project that wasn't the case. a lot o the goodies in CM6 were missing... I plan to add my own little touch to it and hopefully diverge from the CM project slightly. Video's not going to happen, having some issue with the touchscreen....will look at it in the morning.
hmmm... no issue with the touch screen... but somehow this compiled lacking a keyboard... blah... i was hopeful... oh well... will deal wiith it in the morning
yes its now going to be opened for the public test, they are going to give it to testers by the end of the week, this means that we Topaz fans should wait no more than a month before we start testing our MGLDR for our Beautiful Topaz.

I doubt that! Read on tiad8's site that release date is tomorrow, still would not rely on that. He's only wants to release sth. that does not brick your device. I think this will still need some work for beginers to be safe...
I think it will be faster to sell our sperm and just buy a new phone

I asked to tiad8 about Nand Android for topaz and he replied that he needs to buy one which he will do it very soon and then we can expect to get android on our topaz.

We can also see here that he has a .35 kernel which probably the only way to have gotten it is with gingerbread. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, LG probably also gave him 2.3 sources, so the update should also be near.
Since I prefer AOSP to CM, when it's out I'll also use his device folder and port to a clean AOSP-ish ROM.

No, this is a one-man-job and he's much more skilled than I am. Remember I'm not even a computer engineer; my field is the brain, not computers, I do this as a hobby.
Probably if CM comes out, Nova will cease to exist. I'll only work on a good kernel and perhaps a clean AOSP-ish ROM based on CM device source and CAF.
I already sent him PM asking if he was kind enough to share it, we'll see what he replies.

That kernel version is the same one that's in our 4.06.605.3 roms. It was built on 8/18/2011.

It's been like 40 days since it starting rolling out GB and Thunderbolt had the froyo kernel within like 2 weeks of kernel release I think some users were badgering HTC to release it as well. The main release I'm in a hurry is I want to get something out before I upgrade to the Nexus Prime which I will do upon release and won't spend as much time on the Inc.

They still haven't officially rolled out the update. They did a couple of test batches but it has never been released to all Incredibles. My buddy at work is stock and never got the notification. I think their tests always revealed another issue, like we've seen with the stock based roms.

Interesting, I guess they're letting the Inc fade out. Kind of amazing that it's even being considered, given how "old" this phone is.
I wish HTC would release another classic like this instead of turning to gimmicks like 3D and Beats. I mean, the Rezound? Really? Sense is enough of a selling point, IMHO. If they just backed it up with killer specs.
