Honeycomb v04 - 1.1 Ghz OC - off of SD card - Nook Color General

I wanted to post this in the following thread, but I don't have permissions.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=925451
Anyways, I was playing around with Dalingrin's OC kernel for Honeycomb on SD Card, which currently doesn't work.
However, after searching around I came across this:
http://www.inspiredgeek.com/2011/03/14/how-to-dual-boot-android-honeycomb-3-0-on-overclocked-nook-color-using-sd-card-step-by-step-guide/
which has a link to some version of Dalingrin's OC kernel for a 1.1 Ghz kernel that has a larger uImage than any of the ones in the xda thread mentioned above.
Although it says emmc in the file name, I copied the uImage to my boot section of the SD card (and cleared my cache) and managed to boot up Honeycomb running at 1.1 Ghz.
Direct Link to uImage:

FYI, my Quadrant score is 1579 with this kernel.
Hope this helps some people with OC'ing of the Nook Color on SD Card.

What rev of the kernel is this? Wish it supported DSP or bluetooth.

Thank you for sharing!

[Q] Nookie Froyo 0.6.7 OC Kernel

Having tried various NOOKiE SD versions, I have now settled on Nookie Froyo 0.6.7.
Is there a "finalized" over clocked kernel that perform reliably with this release?
I am using the 1Ghz kernel with Froyo 0.6.7 from this thread:
[Kernel][Eclair][Froyo][Honeycomb] [email protected] *New Froyo and HC* [2/6/11]
...and it seems perfectly stable and responsive.
Thanks
I Installed this a few hours ago, and so far it is behaving well

[Q] SetCPU Issue

I just used Autonooter 3.0 on my Nook Color. I installed SetCPU but it will not give me the option to overclock it past 800mHz. What gives?

You need to install an overclock kernel specific to your os. Stock os is Eclair. I like Dalingrin's kernel. Look in the dev forum to find it.
Have you flashed an overclock kernel like screamer or dalingrin's?
No. I tried that. The stock kernel supports only 800 MHz. You need to flash supported kernel to do that.
Search in development threads. i do not have enough posts to put links.

Hey, I've been trying to search and read through threads and if theres one then sorry.

Thats about as 'stable' as it gets ATM. The v4 eMMC runs pretty nicely so far.

Overclocking beyond 925 w CM7 on SD Card

The hard reset process was used to return the internal memory to stock (oddly, the Android Market app and others still appear in extras) and now boot into CM7 from my SD Card. Why can I only overclock to 950? Is there a way to still overclock to 1100?
Thank you XDA Developers for this board. It's great!
CM7 Kernel allow OC to 925 max. You need to install one of the Dal' Oc Kernels.
Flash one of dalingrins OC kernels for CM7. Newest stable is 04/04. Newest test is under Test Builds and 4/24 OC's to 1.3GHz max.
Still kind of getting use to the teminology. How do I flash a kernel? Where would I find Test Builds? Are there more detailed instructions for what I'm trying to do? Remember, I'd like to leave the stock software in tact and work from the SD Card.
Thanks for your patience with me.
I'm good. Thanks everyone!

[Q] cm7 nightlies

I have CM7 7.0.3 on my nook color. There has been alot of nightlies since then and I heard that one of the more recent nightlies lets the nook go to sleep mode to save batt life. My question is can I just install the one nightly i want or do I have to install all of the ones before it too?
Just the nightly you want.
Just the one you want
Still rocking the Incredible with the XDA Premium App.
FYI anything above nightly 78 you need uboot 1.2 and kernel .32 Also there have been more than a few people that have been having problems with wifi on several of the latest nightlys. I would recommend to flash nightly 78 latest gapps and ext4 4/24 Oc kernel assuming you have the latest clockworkmod recovery. You will benefit from way better battery even though its not fully at deep sleep.

Nightly 86+ has a custom uboot that installs with the nightly.

Are you able to overclock your NC using that combination? I have gone through the same steps multiple times on my device (upgrading from 7.0.2), using the exact same combination you list above, but my device won't OC above 925MHz.
Just wondered if your system is allowing OC above 925...
I'm able to oc to 1200 MHz with above combo

Yes, over clocking to 1100 just because 1200 is alittle new. Make sure you have the latest OC rom from darlingrin. It should be dated somewhere around 5/24 0r 5/25 I forget for sure but it's one of those dates. The older roms didn't work with 7.0.3. don't know if there was a prob with 7.0.2.
Which nightlies support Netflix?
[edit] nevermind. I found this thread. [/edit]
Any CM7 supports Netflix, but you will need to do the build.prop edit.

That's so weird. I seem to be using the exact same build as everyone else...getting no errors on install, but can't overclock above 925MHz....
Did you just install the kernel by copying the ZIP file to an SD card, then booting CWM??
