I have a Tmobile Galaxy Tab.
I've rooted with z4root, and flashed with roto's prerooted firmware v4.
However I've recently decided to sell it, so I tried using Rom Manager to erase all the data... except it got stuck.
So I flashed with Roto's Tmobile stock ROM and modem file.
When I boot it, it gets stuck at SamSung.
I'm in the same boat. I keep reading about putting the Tab into recovery mode by powering off and then holding down the POWER and VOL UP buttons together, but I'm having no luck.

Hi guys, I have researched for quite a while not and I have found nothing that suits my situation.
I have flashed with multiple roms to no avail using ODIN. Everything appears to work fine, the rom uploads to the phone correctly, the phone reboots and comes to the Galaxy S logo and quickly resets and keeps on cycling.
Im not sure what I can do.
Any help appreciated, thanks.
try to flash a firmware that contains 3 files + pit.
if you cannot find one, try darkys new 9.2 resurrection. its only 1.tar file but you can use pit and re partition.... and it contains dbdata which should fix your problem
stuck on either the battery logo or the at&t screen
Hi I was trying to install Andremada3 on my galaxy captivate and got as far as installing URSA minor and then when I tried to install the Andremeda it was not on my sd card... so I tried to reflash to factory so I have access to the internal card to upload the zip file in doing so something happened and now my phone just keeps on flashing the battery icon or the at&t world phone screen and does not get past that... it does not even go into recovery mode by holding the volume and the power button... What can I do...Please help Thanks..
*frustrated*
My milestone has been working fine until today, running Eclair via GOT's TELUS – SHOLS_U2_03.11.0
And then for no reason, it restarts... and goes straight to the bootloader (90.74). No 'M' logo, no error messages, doesn't pass 'go', doesn't collect $200, NOTHING.
Doing the key combinations to get into recovery doesn't work ('x' and power / camera and power), it just goes straight to the bootloader again with no 'M' logo.
Reflashed the same Telus firmware, then tried to be sneaky and flashed the UK GOT baseband's firmware, then GOT's 2.2.1 firmware (both Telus and UK). Tried flashing stock Telus, no joy. Tried flashing a german 2.0... no joy.
Oh, I flashed via RSD 4.9. It succeeds both flashing and checksum tests... But when it reboots - guess what - it goes straight to bootloader.
I highly doubt the up button is stuck... but even if it is, how would I be able to fix that? I tried mildly mashing the d-pad hoping to dislodge whatever crumb or particle that may have gotten stuck there... still no joy!
Please please please help!
I suggest you flash some standard ROM. It is possible that after flashing any non standard ROM it boots but in the boot process it rewrites boot image and after this, when bootloader checks again the images it failed.
I have some similar, after restoring a nandroid leak to my phone (original 2.1) it reboot to bootloader. So the ONLY way to recover was to flash an original SBF and it boots ok. After that I can use nandroid restore over it.
Again, try a standard or original ROM to understand if it is only something related to software and not a hardware problem. Try using some known version like 2.1 and not a MOD or new ROM.
Regards,
Claudio.
Thanks Claudio,
I've already flashed the original stock telus sbf, and then a stock UK sbf to see if it was a baseband issue. The flashes came out successfully from RSDlite, but upon reboot, it goes straight to bootloader without even showing the 'M' Logo.
I have a sprint galaxy tab, was rooted and had Bauxite OC kernal but otherwise stock. Was working fine this morning, picked it up tonight wont power on past samsung logo, not the glowing one. I can't get into recovery at all, download yes. Tried putting stock firmware with odin back on says pass but still stuck at logo. Did this a few times same results other that once it would just keep turning off and on by itself in a loop. I tried Baush [Kernel][CDMA][VZW/SPRINT]KhasMek Voodoo Plus v5 Now with Full Voodoo CwM! and went through that it installed but the voice says not enough space. I did get into recovery with it but it would not let me do anything at all.
All,
I had rooted a Captivate recently for a friend and installed CM7. After about a week, my friend decided to go back to stock. Prior to rooting, I made a backup of his stock rom just in case. I then showed him how to restore via Clockwork if need be. Tonight he came in to work and wanted to restore to stock, now he is stuck with a boot-looping Captivate. Now the phone sits at the AT&T World Phone splash screen. I've tried and tried all night to get the phone in DL mode so that I can use the One-Click ODIN restore but to no avail. I can't seem to get the phone in DL mode no matter what I try. Whenever I attempt, the phone simply reboots to the AT&T splash. Please assist if available.
P.S. When I plug the phone into any USB I get a circle (reminiscent of the Android loading spinner) in the center of the screen.
Assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

thats not how clockwork backups work...those are to restore your set up to the way you had it once you flash the rom it was backed up from thats why hes looping. you would odin back to stock THEN restore and it would be like he never flashed anything at all.
build/buy a jig that'll for sure get you int download mode.
Loop
I'm getting that same loop screen. What I did was use odin to restore my captivate back to factory because the 2.2 update wouldn't allow me superuser permission. After it was back to factory I rooted with super one click. It was successful but when i went to reboot the att world screen looped.
Help please
superoneclick works fine on 2.2.........you had no reason to go back to 2.1
Hi everyone,
I've had numerous problems with OTA updates with my AT&T SM-G900A since I got it. I'm not in the US anymore and my phone was unlocked, so I thought "hey, how hard could it be" and tried to flash it.
I used the following binaries that were posted here a couple of days ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/g900aucs4cpa2-odin-files-em-hot-t3372388
I ran them through Odin3 3.09, and got a PASS - but the phone is stuck at the boot logo screen ("Samsung Galaxy S5 Powered by Android" screen).
Download mode still works, but normal booting, recovery booting and safe mode do not.
Any suggestions on what I could do?
EDIT: I used the stock image located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2714455 to reflash it using Odin again. It seems to have worked, though all sorts of apps were crashing. I've just done a factory reset and am in the process of restoring it, but it seems promising for now. Never trying to update AT&T crap again.
Hey man, are you still having troubles? I just rooted my Sm-G900A, and then decided to use Odin to flash it with the 5.1.1 files. So this is what happened to me:
1: Flashed AP with the 5.1.1 file, passed but stuck at the Samsung Logo- Powered by Android.
2: rebooted into download mode and flashed "BL" or Bootloader with the 5.1.1 file and I got passed that screen. Now I'm waiting for it to optimize my apps.
My guess is after we flash the AP file we then have to flash the bootloader as well. So if you haven't tried that I'd suggest it to see what happens.
