i dont know about kinect so i cant comment
but i feel we need controllers to feel the game......just moving without sense is senseless
and wii controllers r no where comparable to this......

Kincet is stupid it feels weird to move around with nothing in your hand try to be a gladiator with kinect it will make you feel stupid and move is wayy better than wii.

Played with the Move, could never suggest a Wii to someone (not that I ever would) but after messing with the Move...was pretty impressed. Not to mention the games the Move is gonna take advantage of seeing as it is PS3. Will probably get on it myself at some point, already have the camera...but at the moment, I personally, couldn't get enough use to justify the purchase.
And the Kinect ... LOL that's gonna be miserable. People want to hold on to something ... not to mention the lack of greatness, in term of games, for the simple fact you don't have a controller.
Really feel like MS dropped the ball with that one...another month of meetings / brainstorming / rationalizing and things might be a, *cough*Wii*cough*, different.

Completely off topic but buying a PS3 tomorrow...

I need to know what games to get. I'm going to get the Killzone 3 bundle so I'll have that one, but I'm going to buy 3 other games as well. Got my heart set on Dead Space so I need two more recommendations.

Marvel VS. Capcom 3, if you like fighting games, that is. Don't know about a second recommendation.

Yeah I'll probably get Black Ops, I was a big fan of MW on 360.
I don't know about RPGs anymore, I was a huge fan of them back in the FF7 days but I haven't played one since then. Not really a fan of fighting games either.
Homefront looks badass.

FF13-2 Coming out in the winter! It's not for everybody though. If you like RPG's FF series are the best.

I agree. I havent owned a gaming console since PS2 back in like 2001. My friends want me to get a 360 so I can play with them but I've got my heart set on a PS3.

Ya I have not played since FF7 either and didn't like it then. Haha its def not for everyone. I can't wait for homefront. I hope its worth the hype. Xbox 360 ftw tho. Haha just wanted to recommend the new game

Dante's inferno was a rental for me. Beat it within the week. Its fun but wouldn't play it over

what does the LiveView do? and why would you would prefere it for jogging?

It's something like a wireless phone controller. It connects through Bluetooth and looks like a watch. Very interesting device.

i have got one from play.com , i like this small device but when i try to use it as a watch i lost it first time. then i got another one and also second time it got lost but found out after some time . after that i am not using this liveview but it is great device. the lock between the band and the device seems solid but you dont know when it will get seperate from band and loss it for ever

but share your experience after 2 weeks or so. becouse when you get something new, its always cool ... after a while you will see that maybe its not so useful you thought.

Think it would be more useful if it wasn't for the capacitive-style buttons. With proper clickables, it could serve well as a pocketed remote control for music. As it is now, you have to pull "something" out of your pocket to swap tracks... and that "something" might just as well be your phone.
Been thinking about getting one myself, but for the purpose of swapping tracks, cyanogenmod does the trick by fiddling with volume/camera buttons.

are you realy listening musik from your phone! because i need to charge it daily and i even dont whatch movies or like that. i think this phone is just good be stylish and maybe to spend time with playing some games! ;(

This thing is very useful. I use it to check text messages when I'm in school And my phone seems to last longer cuz the screen isn't on as much

Sold my mp4 because of that phone. I don't like to carry so many devices as my friend (Milestone 2 + iPhone + iPod Touch + another mp4 player), one phone is great for me and I really listen to the music all day rly!
And I'm interested in buying LV because of the power of that small device. Music control, wristwatch, facebook, notes, reading messages...

its upto the person as to how useful you would find the item to be fair, I'm quite happy just taking my phone out of my pocket and using it that way... lol but its each to their own preference. Sony released a watch based phone product before i think, and that never really "took off"

Can any of you fine XDA members help me out with an xbox live gold trial card? 48hrs or 1 month...borrowing an xbox and can't condone a $10 purchase for short usage...

the thing is if you really want to game on pc and enjoy the full experience, u generally have to have a very expensive fast graphics card a a fast computer.

Do you exploit glitches in video games?

Funny i'm asking this in XDA, but I had this argument with a couple of friends and well, they think that exploiting minor glitches in video games is wrong, though I think its nice to have a small boost sometimes!
What do you think\do?

It depends. If you're using glitches to do stuff you can't normally do when offline then that's fun. If you're doing it online then you're a loser who needs a life. The only people who think it's okay to cheat online are other losers who also need to get a life.

This is the main reason I get games for online play on the PS3 rather than the Xbox.

You live in the same world as me, i have a 2 ghz dual core and 2 gig of ram. Always have to pick lowest quality but windows 8 was a huge performance boost to it.

Not on my PS3 (not that I really play online often but I still feel like it cheapens the "achievements" ).
However I will on the emulators I play on my phone since the control scheme already puts me at a disadvantage and I'm not playing games on my phone for anything other a quick break from everything while I'm waiting on line or something like that.

You're missing out dude. The online community and servers are so much better on 360. I used to have both but I quickly grew tired of PS3's online community, so I sold mine.

Our shared desktop is 1gb of RAM and 1.8ghz dual core processor, with Windoze XP. It does however have a good graphics card and so plays Minecraft very well on far render distance

Nah, really I'm not missing out. I have played both platforms online and PS3 is my preferred choice. I'm the opposite of you - I've had a PS3 since release day, but am on my 3rd Xbox which I only got cos it was so cheap. I get them and then regret it and sell them normally. I'll keep it this time though, just for the exclusives.
Personally, I prefer an online experience where you don't have spoilt little brats calling you ever racist or homophobic slur they can think of. And I'd rather not listen to someone else's favourite dubstep track while trying to play a game. There's certainly a lot more Xbox users (kids always buy the cheaper console), but that's not really relevant when the first thing you do is mute every single one of them.

I have both systems too and I prefer the dual shock controller. I also like how Sony doesn't charge me every month, I have paid for XBL for months I didn't use it.

Word and word. I would like if a few more people had mics on PS3 to call in movement in BF3, but the spot function works well enough that my K/D stays positive and my team usually wins. I'll deal with that sacrifice if it means no little turds flapping their gums and not having to pay another $30 a month on top of internet costs. PS3 controller fits my hands better as well, but that's just nitpicking.
