Using 4g? Apparently that causes problems
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App

Had the same problem.
GOing to try Slacker and some other options

Slacker works fine for me. But I'm using 3g.

Pandora is in some hot water right now. They're being sued, and word got out yesterday that they've been selling off our private information to 3rd parties. So yeah, maybe that's why we're all having trouble? Maybe they were told to pull the plug?

Yeah i get that force closed message alot but it usually only happens when i'm multitasking. If i just use the pandora app and nothing else it doesn't crash most of the time.

Never had a single problem or force close with Pandora...

Random GPS notification

Ok, actually it's not random.
Exactly every 12 hours on the second (at 12 (PM) and 12 AM) a so called "toast" notification (the small grey pop up) tells me that GPS is turned off. The thing is, it's always off.
Anybody knows why this happens? It doesn't really bother me, but i'm really curious! Does the government track me (where's my tinfoil hat??) or is it simply a weird SW bug?
I don't have any strange or unpopular apps installed so it can't be spyware. Google told me nothing.
Any ideas? Thanks

Google Now Update on Play Store - Lag fixed

Head over to play store and update Google Search. Seems to have solved the lag issue on my unit at least.
The update has nothing to do with lag

That is fair enough, I haven't looked at the release notes at all, all I know is, the 3 second delay between typing into the search and actually seeing the words appear seems to be no more. is it not possible that they included a bug fix that they have not mentioned in the official release?
I'll report back if it suddenly starts again and I give you permission (nay implore you) to point and laugh at me.
Same here
Lag is gone after the update

I notice the voice search bug is gone since the update. Any voice input use to FC till the update.

My delay is gone too. Maybe it didn't have anything to do with it, but it's fixed anyways.
Mine seems more responsive.
Interestingly, upon first voice search after updating, mine FC'd haha.
Definitely more snappy. In fact my whole device is now snappy because previously I was unable even navigate through my Nexus. I wonder if there is any relation.

So why does the what's new section in the play store state "Google Search is getting faster", then?

Yeah all search functions seem pretty slick. GNow searches pretty fast. No lag on the open or switching from Gnow back to chrome or vice-versa

Did you wait for your device to do it automatically, or did you sideload an apk?
I'm asking because I still don't have the new Play Store.

Is anybody else experiencing super slow charge times with this ROM? Can't get a full charge overnight. Don't have my other charger, left it at my girls house. Was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem.

What's supposed to be the difference between M-3 and the nightly?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T879 using xda app-developers app
M-3 is a monthly build, it's suppose to be more stable. Not generated nightly off code.

Could be your charing port on the phone, I had to replace mine not that long ago.
That's what I thought it was, but i went back to Avatar Rom 1.3 and it's back to normal. No biggie though, changed my everyday phone to a Nexus 4 and I just use the Note as a Tablet for Netflix and YouTube.

It does take a lot longer to charge but I figured the battery(s) are larger. The biggest bug I've experienced (at the wrong time of course) is the loss of Network (calls) when shutting off WiFi. I have to reboot the phone.
Love it otherwise. I use it as my daily and can't wait for the next build in a week or so.
Not getting the network problem here. Might try to redownload and reflash.
The latest few nightlies have not been real stable. I keep going back to my backup of this M3, it does everything well here, fast and stable.

Been having the same problem with file transfers locking up the phone and the screen jumping back and forth on websites and Kindle.
I've re-flashed clean and that helped the network issue dropping after turning off WiFi.
Let's see how the new RC1 build does...
YMMV, but here M3 is a lot more stable than RC1. There is a thread in the general forum on RC1.
I tested file transfers after your post on another thread. Stopped after 2 GB so its working OK here. Might test with different cables, computers.
Actually bad advice. I should have suggested that when the freeze happens you need to file a bug report here: https://jira.cyanogenmod.org

Play Services keeps crashing...

I don't know why it's happening. I put the phone down for the night last night and everything was fine, upon picking it up today the error started popping every few minutes several times in a row, without seeming provocation.
I'm including the Stack trace. It seems to involve MediaDrm Provisioning and gms.
I'm rooted and s-off 4.3, 3.05.651.6.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app.
Anyone have any idea at all how to make it stop? It pops the error up every few seconds for a good minute at a time. Shouldn't there be something I can do with my phone rooted to make it stop?

Yup. Even tried uninstalling the update and updating it again. No go. ; ;

Actually, I lied. I did the uninstall update/reinstall, but never did clear the cache. That seems to be working for the moment.
What do you think may have caused it, since it seems to have happened while I was asleep?

Not sure, maybe something got corrupted during the update. Anytime a app starts acting up that's the first thing I do. Glad it's resolved.

XDA app and Amazon app get stuck?

Has anyone else noticed that the XDA app sometimes loads a thread immediately and then other times it gets "stuck" where it can take a very long time to load? When it gets stuck, I can click back and then click the same thread again, which sometimes will load it quickly. I notice the exact same behavior in the Amazon app when clicking a product. It happens on both WiFi and LTE and has happened with every version of android so far on the N6.
I use XDA and Amazon all the time so this is a particularly frustrating issue for me.
UPDATE: here is a video demonstrating the problem with the Amazon app:
Amazon App getting stuck on Nexus 6: https://youtu.be/bjDayQJVV3g
Which XDA app? Theres like a million of them. One of the tapatalk versions?
I'm using the XDA premium app.
I'm not convinced that it's an issue specific to the app though because I didn't notice this on my Nexus 4 and the exact same issue happens in the Amazon app.

XDA premium is based on Tapatalk and Tapatalk has problems on this forum. Its specific to this forum too, because taptalk works fine on other forums I use. I think the API on XDA for Tapatalk is outdated and since XDA are working on their own new XDA app (XDA One), they're probably not going to be too bothered to fix it.
Not sure about Amazon
Tapatalk has gone into the toilet over the years at this point I would honestly pay to go back to an old version. The iOS version is such a monstrosity and just so horrible its at the point of being unusable. if the thread I want actually comes up and displays I feel like I've won something.

Thanks for the replies. Seems like this might be something a new XDA app could fix.
Here is a quick video I made showing the Amazon issue:
Amazon App getting stuck on Nexus 6: https://youtu.be/bjDayQJVV3g
The first 2 products open fast and then the third gets stuck. I click back and re try 5 times and on the last try, it opens fast like the first 2 did. Anyone else have this issue with Amazon?
Yes you are correct ..Those are the worse two apps to get "stuck".. Only other app is WWE SUPERCARD..Every other app is fine..I do believe it is app issues not phone related.
