I am current on supercurio kernel and juwe 2.3.3
System settings - applications - Applications - (rider) ALL -- software update - "delete data"option.
You must go to Apllications then All then srearch for Software update and than delete data

No i still got that problem...when i put on charger its get normal and use 3% battery for some time and then get back again ~70% and drain battery over night...
For most people,this kind of sudden battery drains have disappeared after a few cycles of charge/discharge,maybe 5 or 6?
maybe you should recallibrate your battery.
here the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024867
it worked! just recalibrate ur battery and the OS prozess is again under 5%
support the guy!
thank you I'll try it
Hi guys, im having same problem, Android OS uses the most battery of all processes, but it is in use only when screen is off. Drain is about 1% / 3 minutes! I had it before on JVK but i fixed it by cleaning dalvik cache. Now on JVB nothing works. I tried to clear dalvik cache, deleted ota update apps, cleaned cache partition, fixed permissions, deleted batterystats, changed kernel, turned off autostart for most apps and the battery drain is still there, even after reboot
I'm on Juwe's Smart Edition 4.1 with DamianGTO beta 6 kernel. Please help.
Hey, Recalibration really worked out in such problem. Thank you, very much.

i have a motorola droid and it is rooted.i flashed a new rom and then i flashed sprecovery,i let it run its course and i disconnected the phone.when the phone turns on it starts up and then a red light comes on and my phone says please connect charger.it keeps saying android process is not responding and then the phone shuts itself off.ive tried to boot it into recovery mode and do a restore,it keeps giving me an error that says nandroid exited with status 20 and its also not reading my sd card.can somebody tell me whats happened and if it can be fixed???please and thank you
Well, seems as if you need to reflash or restore because of bad flash. If you try flashing again make sure you wipe data and cache. As far as not reading sdcard I have same problem not sure why but when I'm in recovery and I choose install zip which I used clockworkmod recovery, if it fails then it reboots automatically after couple seconds not sure if this happens with sprecovery. After sdcard mount fail it shuts down and reboots so before it reboots I pull the battery and wait a minute or two before trying again. It may take me 3 to 4 times of doing this but eventually it will mount sdcard in recovery. I recommend keep trying till it allows you to apply recovery file and then flash to either clockworkmod or sprecovery which ever one you not using and then flash back to the one you want. I'd also recommend try if after all this you flash rom again and same thing happens redownload it and try again. Good luck.

Please install Advanced Task Manager and from the setting use what ever setting that might suite you.
For me i use the following setting:
Auto Kill Level --> Safe
Auto Kill Frequecny --> Every One Hour
Security Level --> Meduim
With the above setting, i didn't face any performance problem and reduced reboot frequency (General Problem in the Android).
Feel free to ask any question and I will be ready for you

Okay, I didn't know this info as I've Milestone with stock OS 2.1
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App
Hi,
I'm using the last CM7 ROM (20110509 update)
I have two main issue:
1. My battery get down in ~10% every 1 hours mean my phone can work for only 10 minutes without heavy functions, I'm using sync every 1 hours not push and short phone call.
Any idea ?
2.
I can't send MMS, tried to restart, try using other MMS APS like goSMS but still can't send MMS
I cant get the google apps to work. I did install gapps in recovery mode but the apps does not show in my galaxy.
cm 7 faq & discussion thread : http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/15278-all-models-cyanogenmod-7-faq-user-discussion/
You should post questions over there...
But anyways, for the battery, there are many things you can try.
1) go to the wifi advanced settings and put wifi sleep to "never", it may make the phone unable to sleep otherwise
2) disable sync.
3) look for any app that might be using battery in the background (in battery stats) and delete it (if you don't need it) or kill it every time...
4) try undervolting with a custom kernel such as tk-glitch's : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1041532
5) if you DO have a custom kernel, try reinstalling stock cm7 (or see if the kernel has an update) and see if the kernel is the culprit
6) lower your screen brightness, disable wifi/gps/bluetooth, the usual stuff...
7) reboot in recovery with a full battery and wipe battery stats (also, wipe cache/dalvik cache while you're at it)
For the MMS I don't know, I read something about it being fixed but I never actually tried it.
About gapps : factory reset? There might be another solution though, but I have no clue...
Check if your message center number has been set properly...

Hey folks,
since yesterday I have a serious problem with my Xperia Z3 compact D5803:
After waking up my phone from Stamina it just crashed.
Then it was stuck in a boot loop.
With TWRP I was able to (temporary) fix the boot loop:
- Advanced -> Fix Permission (also SElinux)
- Mount -> System
- Advanced -> File Manager -> Copy build.prop to /system
- Reboot: System
However the system was very laggy, running hot and had a high battery drainage (like 1 percent per minute). In OS Monitor I saw dhd_dpc had around 20% CPU usage (which is related to WiFi), so I disabled WiFi, which fixed these issues.
However after reactivating WiFi system crashed and again stuck in boot loop. And now I can't even fix the boot loop....
So what do the experts say:
a) Is this software or hardware related? (Notice: While the system was laggy, I was still able to download data via WiFi, so the antenna cannot be broken completely)
b) What can I try to fix the boot loop?
c) I guess last resort is factory reset. What else can I try before that?
Thanks!
Anyone?
Unless you say what you actually did to break the device, you're really not going to get much help. Once you own up to what you did to it, perhaps someone can figure out how to fix it.
If you've messed up the ROM, a factory reset isn't going to fix it. You'll need to reflash.
As discussed on IRC, I did nothing on the ROM or the system at all!
However apparently my try on fixing the boot loop, with copying a backup of the build.prop, did in fact broke the boot due to wrong permissions. I was able to fix this with a chmod 0644 on the build.prop.
Now the phone boots fine so far and isn't laggy anymore, however I have still problem with high battery drainage. The phone merely lasts one day...
Under battery usage it is just listing "Android system" as main appliance.
So I hope this is somehow software related and will go with a re-flash. Also then I can use this opportunity to update to 5.1.1 - at least something....
Hi guys, in the last update the system partition has been changed to a new FS called squashfs that is probably faster then ext4 but is also read-only and doesn't let us play with all the stuff we are used to play with.
So i converted the original stock ROM to a more comfortable EXT4 FS with a kernel that supports it and some nice stuff too.
FEATURES:
- EXT4 system partition;
- Root;
- init.d support;
- KPPD by @savoca that let u play with the screen parameters;
- busybox;
- full cores support ( 4 core active handled by mpdecision hotplug);
- max freq increased to 998400 Hz;
IMPORTANT:
For "size" reason ( LG made the system partition too small for all the new stuff ) i made some optimization to all the apks in order to reduce them size but it wasn't enought so i had to remove some fonts and some apks too (like LG Healt and some watch faces).
So, if you can't live without them, i suggest to stay on stock until i can find a way to include them without playing with the partitions size ( that i think is too dangerous ).
UPDATE: On the latest update i found a way to decrese the ROM size so you dont need to flash any other file. (The only thing i removed is the wrist gesture tutorial).
INSTALLATION:
1- download the new kernel (Skin1980-boot-M1D64S.img ) and the ROM (MM-system-ext4-M1D64S.img)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862690904 Kernel
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120695961 ROM
2- reboot to bootloader;
3- flash the stuff with:
Code:
fastboot flash system MM-system-ext4-M1D64S.img
Code:
fastboot flash boot Skin1980-boot-M1D64S.img
4- reboot the device with:
Code:
fastboot reboot
CHANGELOG:
Rom M1D64S:
- Rom and Kernel updated to the latest patches (M1D64S);
Rom v.1.2
- Added Android N Emoji
Kernel v.1.1:
- fixed a bug with ADB;
Rom v.1.1:
- Completely rebuilt, more apks removed but you can install them flashing THIS in TWRP. Some apps might don't work correctly, if u can test and report what is not working i will remove them from the zip.
Waiting for your feedback.
I spent a lot of time to build this so donations are welcome. Thank you.

50 download and no feedback... Can u tell me if all is working please?
I wanted to wait 24hrs (as usual to give any feedback)
It does boot and works, here are my findings:
- everything works just as before on stock (Fit App, Wear Launcher, SWApp True Dark, Cards, weather, calls, notifications)
- noticeable faster bootup after restart
- watch feels snappier and more responsive
- battery life is still under investigation, but my first impression is there is an improvement - I have pulled the watch of the charger at 8:02 AM now here is 12:41 PM and I have still 79% left. I have Fit (without activity detection), Wear Mini launcher, Wear Calendar, all notifications on and Always-On display ENABLED (the real battery sucker).

Try clearing Google play services on you phone then use reset wear client to reconnect you're watch to your phone and that should fix the problem. Here's a link to the thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/and.../app-reset-wear-client-switch-phones-t3058962

After installing N960FXXU6FTJ5 for my ITV Exynos version, I made a wipe cache as I usually do after a firmare upgrade but this time, in Recovery mode, I found a new option in the bottom of the list called "Repair apps".
Someone knows what does it do and how it work's?

I answer myself :
I gave it a try....
....there's a reboot, the Samsung logo goes on normally for a while and after that it pops on the Optimizing Apps screen (two gears turnung plus the % of the apps optimized ) that you'll get everytime you update the OS.
When the process finishes, the phone gets on normally.
For what I've read around in Google, this process (Optimizing Apps) actually provisions the apps for the system by generating the Dalvik cache so that apps can run nicely (and quickly) with the current system. Personally I think it also makes a sort of defragmentation of all the apps .
So, when troubles occurs (lags, some types of app crashes) , with repair apps in recovery mode you can do a manuall re-optimize apps so the system will return snappie like it is after a firmware update..
On my s21+ repair apps also reset all my default services to Samsung apps. For instance, I had installed Gboard, Google Messaging, Phone etc and they all reverted to Samsungs version. Not a big deal since all I had to do was switch back to the Google apps when I opened each application.
FYI, I also did the clear system cache and repair apps and it made my fingerprint work consistently. I was having really inconsistent results with the reader before performing these recovery mode options.
