i have a motorola droid and it is rooted.i flashed a new rom and then i flashed sprecovery,i let it run its course and i disconnected the phone.when the phone turns on it starts up and then a red light comes on and my phone says please connect charger.it keeps saying android process is not responding and then the phone shuts itself off.ive tried to boot it into recovery mode and do a restore,it keeps giving me an error that says nandroid exited with status 20 and its also not reading my sd card.can somebody tell me whats happened and if it can be fixed???please and thank you
Well, seems as if you need to reflash or restore because of bad flash. If you try flashing again make sure you wipe data and cache. As far as not reading sdcard I have same problem not sure why but when I'm in recovery and I choose install zip which I used clockworkmod recovery, if it fails then it reboots automatically after couple seconds not sure if this happens with sprecovery. After sdcard mount fail it shuts down and reboots so before it reboots I pull the battery and wait a minute or two before trying again. It may take me 3 to 4 times of doing this but eventually it will mount sdcard in recovery. I recommend keep trying till it allows you to apply recovery file and then flash to either clockworkmod or sprecovery which ever one you not using and then flash back to the one you want. I'd also recommend try if after all this you flash rom again and same thing happens redownload it and try again. Good luck.

Please install Advanced Task Manager and from the setting use what ever setting that might suite you.
For me i use the following setting:
Auto Kill Level --> Safe
Auto Kill Frequecny --> Every One Hour
Security Level --> Meduim
With the above setting, i didn't face any performance problem and reduced reboot frequency (General Problem in the Android).
Feel free to ask any question and I will be ready for you

I am current on supercurio kernel and juwe 2.3.3
System settings - applications - Applications - (rider) ALL -- software update - "delete data"option.
You must go to Apllications then All then srearch for Software update and than delete data

No i still got that problem...when i put on charger its get normal and use 3% battery for some time and then get back again ~70% and drain battery over night...
For most people, this kind of sudden battery drains have disappeared after a few cycles of charge/discharge,maybe 5 or 6?
maybe you should recallibrate your battery.
here the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024867
it worked! just recalibrate ur battery and the OS prozess is again under 5%
support the guy!
thank you I'll try it
Hi guys, im having same problem, Android OS uses the most battery of all processes, but it is in use only when screen is off. Drain is about 1% / 3 minutes! I had it before on JVK but i fixed it by cleaning dalvik cache. Now on JVB nothing works. I tried to clear dalvik cache, deleted ota update apps, cleaned cache partition, fixed permissions, deleted batterystats, changed kernel, turned off autostart for most apps and the battery drain is still there, even after reboot
I'm on Juwe's Smart Edition 4.1 with DamianGTO beta 6 kernel. Please help.
Hey, Recalibration really worked out in such problem. Thank you, very much.
I see that someone posted this in the main dev thread, but I can't post there and the solutions don't help.
Navigation and maps work only the first or second time I use them on this rom, after which they start crashing in a different way each time. Very weird.
Here's what I've done:
1: Installed the CM9 rom, cleanly:- full factory reset, wipe dalvik and wipe cache before and after.
2: Installed the GApps .zip
3: noticed that navigation and gmail etc. weren't included in the Gapps package. Not sure why. Installed them from the market.
4: Boot
Porblems:
5: Navigation works fine the first time, much faster gps lock than stock. Sometimes it works more times if I don't reboot, charge, or run other apps in between.
6: The second time, navigation gets stuck at the navigation logo after I choose a destination.
7: The third time, navigation wont even load - just a black screen. If I wait and the screen times out the phone goes into a state where the only way to get it back running is to remove the battery.
8: If I run the app and then go back to homescreen, next time the phone goes to sleep the same thing as #8 happens again. Trying again takes me back to one of the above options seemingly at random, but it never works again other than the first time.
What I've done to try a fix:
8.25: Reinstalled Gapps from .zip. Navigation may again work the first time, but back to failing after a try or two.
8.5: Reinstalled maps from market. No change.
9: Fix permissions. Same as above.
10: Full reflash from scratch, wiping everything. Same as above.
11: Selected internal GPS source in settings. No change.
12: Ticked all the location boxes in settings. No change.
13: Installed a different version of Gapps. Again same as above even though it was the gingerbread Gapps. Wondering if the ICS gapps package installed correctly in the first place?
14: Used GPS status to confirm that GPS itself is fine. It's just the app that's the issue. Perhaps other nav apps would work? Shame they all suck/cost money.
In the meantime I'm going to try the sygic free trial. Any ideas for what I could have missed?
Seems like these forums move too fast to be of any real help. Maybe I'll keep posting around the place til I can get Arco to respond.
For now I've give back to cm7. Navigation works fine now. I'll try cm9 again once it goes beta or maybe just wait for cm10

Let's help kholk and dexter build a stable CM10.1. Thank them!!
BUG LIST:
Confirmed
- Hotspot (doesn't work for both secured or open settings, wifi is stuck at OFF state after attempt to turn on hotspot, work again after reboot) (kholk)
- extsd (root permission is denied) (kholk)
- swipe gesture in aosp keyboard FC keyboard (BUT normal typing has no problem) (kholk)
- mic on Google Now FC the app (kholk)
-Phone doesn't automatically registers into mobile network on pin-locked simcard, I have to go into settings > mobile operators, perform manual search and choose corrent operator, then it works, after reboot i have to do same steps again. (o4i, musklor and Capozz)
- Bluetooth not really working (kholk)
- External SD is accessible only as root (kholk)
- I forgot to enable mass storage mode, so only adb is working. I'll enable it in the next release. (kholk)
- Hotspot can't still work because I didn't even configure it. I'll be sincere: I totally forgot to xD (kholk)
- Dear kholk, you forgot to include a library called libnvcap_video.so: why the hell did you? (kholk)
- installation of purchased apps from market fails (NEW)
Needs confirmation
- No option for USB connection mode (Mikey94)
- Camera no autofocus when hitting the trigger (Mikey94)
- Apps that try to install itselves to the sd card fail miserably, probably related to sdcard access. Some failing apps: Fancy widgets unlocker, ADWLauncher Ex, Exchange by TouchDown Key (ircalf)
- When connected to a wi-fi with no internet connection, mobile data doesn't take over, leaving the phone offline (ircalf)
Fixed
- Vibration (kholk)
- root doesn't work (kholk)
- NFC (the option is not present under settings) (kholk)
- Screen brightness changes inadvertently (still can't point out the reason or pattern) (ircalf)
- Leaving the brigthness to auto renders the screen very dark (ircalf)
TIPS:
- This build is still BETA. So you can, and probably will, find bugs. If so, please report here so I can update this thread and make Kholk's life easier.
- No NFC in settings (always activated??)
- No option for USB connection mode
- Camera no autofocus when hitting the trigger
all from kholk:
29/01/2013: Bluetooth not really working
29/01/2013: External SD is accessible only as root
- I forgot to enable mass storage mode, so only adb is working. I'll enable it in the next release.
- Hotspot can't still work because I didn't even configure it. I'll be sincere: I totally forgot to xD
- Dear kholk, you forgot to include a library called libnvcap_video.so: why the hell did you?

AW: [FAQ] Support thread for CM 10.1 by kholk! Questions? Post here!
I have a big Problem with mobile data and mobile connection!
My provider is three (3 Austria) and problem is following (same problem was also with dexters rom): the signal is kinda low, my phone automatically connect to t-mobile austria...and at the statusbar there is a "R" which stands for roaming, so there is no more internet connection!
With stock V10H i never had this problem!
Any solutions? am i the only person with this problem?

Anyone else having trouble reinstalling previously purchased apps? I get an error something along the lines of "cannot install to usb storage or SD card", and it only happens on my purchased apps, no problems installing any free apps. I Googled the error and none of the answers (of which there were a few) worked, such as clearing cache/data for the Google Play app, or installing the apps while the SD card is unmounted, another proposed solution is to delete smdl2tmp1.asec which I can't get at because I can't get root working yet
Speaking of root, superuser's info screen is reporting "note: your su binary cannot be updated due to its location"
Also, I've figured out how to add/remove lock screen widgets but I can't figure out how to get rid of the camera one? -edit- got rid of the lock screen camera with an app called Lockscreen Policy
SD card doesn't seem to be recognised at all (see attachment), tried unmounting and remounting, removing and reinserting, rebooting, no luck
Recovered CustoNexus for regular day's use tomorrow, will do some more "constructive breaking" of CM10.1 tomorrow evening.

I think light sensor is bugged.
Okay everybody, I want to start a WIP on this as it seems that we can get somewhere. The last dev seems to have dropped the project so I picked it up. :good:
***NOTE*** This is meant for development/testing purposes ONLY. It is in NO WAY for the faint of heart and you must follow ALL instructions or it will not boot! You have been warned!
As of 5/7/2013, the following things are working:
Camera (flash works, it takes pictures)
Sound (the only reason I know this works is because the shutter noise goes off in the camera app, there is no other way to test this right now)
The test apps (browser, notepad, gallery, camera, browser, phone, calculator, calendar, clock)
Power button (phone goes to sleep and wakes, hold the power button down to shut off the phone - the shutdown takes a second because it shuts down just like a linux kernel would - plug it in the charger to test this, it will vibrate once it is off)
Not working - just about everything else. Most items are still placeholders and there is a stability issue where the apps all close themselves after a few seconds which I am trying to figure out. There is no data or cellular connectivity of any kind. This may be fixable, however, since I was able to get the camera working by pulling the prebuilts from a different CM version. I'll keep experimenting with this. If you put the device to sleep, it does not wake up to the same brightness (it is dimmed) and you can not adjust the brightness right now (working on this as well, its a permissions issue in the kernel source but I haven't been able to narrow it down yet).
It is VERY finicky about how it is installed. I won't give any support for anything but TWRP 2.5.0.0
To install:
-Download the kernel zip and the latest daily from Ubuntu (I will post links later)
-Backup your current ROM in its entirety using TWRP - check every item on the list or you may have to go to a fresh install of your version you were running previously.
-In TWRP (once again, make sure its 2.5.0.0 because these are 2.5.0.0 specific instructions), factory reset but do an advanced reset, check dalvik, data, system, and cache. ***MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T FORMAT YOUR MICROSD***
-Install the kernel zip and do not wipe cache or dalvik
-Install the Ubuntu preinstalled image, once again make sure you do not wipe the cache or the dalvik.
-Do not do anything else, no fixing permissions or anything, just reboot
-Wait about 2 minutes for the lock screen to come up and then you can use it
I will keep working on the kernel - the other functions will not work until Ubuntu implements them.
This is my first time working with actual development - if anyone wants to give me a tutorial to get my project up on GitHub so everyone can work on it, I would be more than happy to do so.
Here are the links:
Kernel built 5/7/2013: http://d-h.st/185
Latest Ubuntu Touch base: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-to...current/raring-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip
Since the source has been moved to Raring Ringtail, there should not be a need to update that link. Please note that the 5/7/2013 build is the one that I tested and be sure to let me know if it gets broken in the future.
Enjoy everyone and once again, if you want to contribute, I'm more than happy to set up a GitHub, I just need some basic help getting it started.
How about now since they are realeasing daily builds
