NO no i dont mean flash player only . I mean how i can unblock the market and make it work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=693102
Try this/
It didn't worked :'(
Wasn't there something called Market Enabler for countries that don't have access to paid apps?
Or do you mean that everything google is blocked? As in you can't get to www.google.com?
I have installed Market enabler but didn't worked too .. Google is opened but code.Google.com is blocked and all services about android blocked to users from Syria ..!!!! I think I have to have some anonymous network on froyo to browse market and other Google services
You may hav to check around in the settings to see if you can set up a proxy. Then find a proxy server you can use that is in another country.

I got a chinese milestone XT701, Android 2.1

Do you have a link to that site?
There is an update for XT701 users that gives them google services back. Use google translate to translate the address if you need english, then follow the instructions, the link to the update is on the page.

WisePilot is the best, its user friendly and runs great as compared to other navigation softwares.
Could someone please repost a link for WisePilot? The existing one appears dead.
Links updated, for download of wisepilot and wayfinder navigator..
enjoy..
if any one wants free navigation for life go for GARMIN XT, you will find the way to get it unlocked on many websites. if you cant find let me know.

Hi,
I had a live wallpaper on my old phone (htc desire) called "Flame-Haired Shana LiveWall" available on android market (from spatulacorp). seems it's been removed from the market. but i can still view the market page, it just says my new devices are incompatible.
I was wondering if anyone who has it could upload the APK so I could try installing it directly? or would that not work?
Current phone: HTC Sensation XE

Google it, there are many places to download it. Is it free?

yea, it was free on the market;
as for google, the first couple dozen links i tried only had links to the market page and not apk download, so i figured i'd ask here...

Hi All !
I've just signed up to this forum and quite honestly I'm blown away by the scope and breadth of the information.
I have tried to look for what I want, but I can't find an answer.
So, my NEWBIE question is:
Is there a place on here that lists the "latest" versions of each app / .apk ?
I particularly want the latest / best gmail app for my kindle fire HD. I don't want to get into "rooting" just yet and so need to side load it - hey I'm getting into your jargon already !
Thanks,
Andy

Come on guys, answers on a postcard please ...

The easiest way to find out the latest version of an app, is to go to the play store through your browser and search for the app you want. On the info page you will find the latest version. Then use something like aptoide(Google it), or else Google the app you want, followed by the version, followed by apk. Hey presto, you should get a few results show up.
BTW the latest version of gmail is ver. 4.5-694836.

I do not believe that works. I have those apps installed as part of the procedure to install Play Store, Accounts and Sync, etc. When I install the latest GMail from the Play Store, it installs just fine, it starts to sync mail, and just waits forever (never syncs mail).
