I recently upgarded to XXJVK and have discovered that i have lost the ability to forward SMS Messages. Does anybody out there in XDA land know of a solution to this problem....

I have a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 Android 2.2.1 with the following ROM versions:
PDA: XWJS5
PHONE: XXJPP
CSC: XXJP9
The problem is, while using GPRS, I am unable to receive any calls/SMS. I know that 3G networks fix this problem, but I'm in an area where I only have EDGE.
I was previously using the Nokia 5230 and never had this problem with it. Any tips? Maybe a different Modem/Phone ROM version that can fix this?
Any help would be great, even if just to tell me that there's no way around this!

have you guys tried speaking with your operator about this ?
I remember there used to be a setting on my last nokia symbian phone whether to prioritize voice over data, didn't see the same on i9003 yet.

I have bought a new h3g brand galaxy tab a while ago.
I installed all of the overcome rom from 1.2.0 to 1.4.7 and JMF modem without any problem.
Today i just experienced a problem with the sms:
- when i try to send an sms, the rolling circle keep spinning forever while the sms has been delivered!
- i can't receive ANY sms from anyone!
I have a WIND italy brand sim...
Any suggestion?
Ok im running symply galaxy s II rom but my problem is that I cant receive calls, i can call people but when they call me i cant answer, and I lost the signal for a moment and them it comes back! what i have to do? I already try different modems...

I have a very strange problem. Because of problems with calling people (when i call somebody the phone ends the call when the other is answering the call) and with problems sending SMS (i can't send SMS which are longer than one normal SMS 160) so yesterday i have flashed back my O2X on original v10c drei Austria rom. But the problem is still present... Today i have figured out that wenn i am in Edge Network the problems are present but when i am in 3G or HSDPA network there is no problem with calling somebody or sending longer sms.
I have also tried to flash the actual baseband 622. So i have rooted the device again and installed wgspoelstra 7.2.1 with actual vorkkernel and the 622 ril.
The problems wont go away... I don't know what to do now.
Please help!

Have you tried any other sms apps than the stock on. I recommend you trying Go sms pro, which is free.

A friend of mine has a Galaxy Mini S5770 with official 2.2.1 software, recently he has a problem with his call log not displaying the most recent calls. I double checked the settings and all seem to be fine. Any idea on what could be causing the problem?
