Hi, so I installed voodoo lagfix but its slower then the one I was previously using so I'd like to go back to that one.
The one thing is that to get rid of it you have to flash the stock kernel.
Could someone provide me with the kernel for I9000UGJH2?
Thanks alot.
get it here

it will be best to repartition as most of the lag fixes changes your partitions
Thanks for the help, I'm gonna wait out froyo, there isn't any notable difference in the two lag fixes just quadrant score.

You can flash stock 2.2 using odin or custom 2.2 after rooting.
There is step by step guide available here at xda for both the tasks.
My friend is now using onecosmic's ics beta2 which is a very old release
but he think ics is not so stable and he don't really want to checking new release everyday.
So he decided to go back to official rom , but how?
I heard that ics roms repartitioned the phone
Just simply flashing a official rom with odin?
and any way to unroot?
Use Odin with pit and partition checked.

A stock rom is always unrooted.

look up darky v10.2 I'm coming back from teamhacksung ICS because i got bored with it, soft bricked it and used it seems to be booting up fine.
Can cwm (clockworkmod touch 6.0.2.8) be ported to stock kernel ie: pre-rooted stock rom I9305XXBLL3 EEUK! Sorry if this does not make any sense i suppose i feel a bit of a noob when it comes to this device, but by all accounts this LTE version of the s3 seems a lot more sensitive that of other sgs's I have had over the past few years. As I have successfully rooted and customised all of them
Cwm is a recovery and can be used in conjunction with any Rom or kernel

I know cwm is a recovery as I already flashed it via odin on 4.1.1 stock rom,and many times on my s2. I just wanted to know if the latest cwm touch can be applied to stock kernel as I am now on latest pre-rooted 4.1.2 firmware. These firmware packages only contain su binary and busybox but no custom recovery,if the touch version will not work I will just flash normal cwm for our device. I just want to avoid unwanted difficulties.

Like I said "CWM can be used in conjunction with any ROM or kernel" you'll be fine mate.

I have been busy working all week, but flashed the cwm touch on my GTI9305 last night and its awsome! The only small issue was I had to format my 64gb ext sdcard from exfat to fat32 so cwm could read it. All is well now, full backup done and sitting happily on my extsd.
