NOTE:
This is NOT an official team whiskey release.
Credits:
Team whiskey for the excellent ROM
untermensch for bluetooth toggle + silent/vibrate/normal toggle and lockscreens
sonique and the3dman for the battery icons
Mr_Tricorder for the black theme.
Description:
~ Updated the Fusion 1.1 ROM with untermensch's bluetooth on/off toggle
and silent mode 3way switch.
~ New google maps
~ Changed battery icon to "stock accurate green %" with lockscreens
Instructions:
- Perform a Nandroid backup
- Disable Lagfixes, if any
- Copy to internal SD and install via Clockwork
- Reboot
- Enjoy
Result:
You'll retain the black theme with bluetooth toggle mod.
Link:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b4100d9/n/fusion11_STOCK.zip
What's "stock accurate" battery? Is it the blue horizontal one without the battery %?
It's green battery with accurate % (slightly bigger icon than original fusion 1.1 ROM)
Lagfix . . .
It says disable lag fixes . . . Does this include the built-in ext2 lag fix or is it jus Voodoo & Kingklick? If so what do I need to type into adb 2 disable the built-in lag fix? Thanks
You could at least call it something different. Kang away and make whatever you want, but dont label it with someone elses branding.

Maybe your heart was in the right place, and you just wanted to share what youd created with everyone. I can completely and totally understand that.
When you just change a few files, all you have to do is zip those frameworks or apks up, make an update script and create a flashable for a ROM, call it the Fusion VIC edition or something.
This did look a little strange....I'll stick with OGs Team Whisky.
It shouldn't be labeled Bionix fusion etc.. You could throw some people off.
This thread should be deleted.

I THINK that's a bit of a stretch. Open source means he can re-release it or edit it or whatever. Maybe the title of this thread could be mis-leading, but it's certainly not meant to be, as the first line gives TW credit
just sayin, let a brother preach
can we get some screen shots of the changes you made? i'm curious.
I found the title miss leading. I like the thought. Please change the title name and some pictures would be great. I cant stand the Battery on the Stock

Didn't mean to cause any confusion here or claim the owner ship of your rom so retained the original name of the ROM and original version as well. Also, provided the credits and details of the changes made...sorry if this has created any misunderstandings.
Edited now....

It IS fusion rom. All I did was fixed the issue where people would lose black theme after applying the silent toggle blue tooth mod. Calm down dude, just so you know there is also a way to EDIT the thread title. Viral is a team whiskey member and he is okay with an edit, should I assume you are a team whiskey admin

My bad dude...I agree, I went to far saying to delete the thread. I'm WELL aware of this being OS and you can do whatever you want with people's creations on here. Your work is greatly appreciated.
Please do me a favor and STFU about me being a member/admin of Team Whiskey, you are well aware that I'm not, so does everybody else, I'm just a proud user of their ROMs. So leave your assumptions somewhere else. As a member and user of XDA, I am completely entitled of an opinion regarding your thread, I was misled from the title, so I decided to say something.
I'm not one that sugarcoats things, so I apologize if I offended you.
Please provide some screen shots. I curios to how this looks with the bluetooth toggle n stuff fixed.

Well, after reading dalingrin's declaration that he will quit NC, and that others like Bryan21, cicada and probably others have already left us, i would like to pay my tribute and respect to them:
Thank you all for the greatness of your work and time applied for our happiness.
I would like to urge you guys to finish the "masterpiece" that was started (kernel 2.6.32) but if its not possible, thank you for share you knowledge and experience with us!
Pls be back soon!!!

Ummmmm...... where does it say that Dalingrin is dropping development for the nook color?? In fact he is eagerly awaiting the B&N source code to see if they can use anything from their .32 kernel with CM7.
Sent from my NookColor using Tapatalk
Damn trolls.
So, Dal is busy right now with school. Also with upgrading the kernel. See also real life.
Give the kid a break! Also, he said he will most likely stop NF (froyo) development, since there are so few downloads and the devs for those distros have said (correct me if I'm wrong) they will not support/upgrade their work, with CM7 being the badass distro it is.
Unfortunately I am leaving Nook development entirely. I'm looking for a new tablet and in the meantime I sold the Nook to a friend. It was fun while it lasted though.
Good luck all!

Oooookaaaaayyyy. Now you're just playing with my emotions Dalingrin! What happened to our conversation about a 1.4 ghz kernel?! Why?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Either this is a very emotional rollerxoaster joke you're trying to pull on us or this is the saddest day of the nook community.
I'm hoping its a joke. Right?!! Its a joke. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?!
And dangit. I've already told my wife about her shopping spree. Please dont let my bank account goto waste.

I figure with stock 1.2 Froyo released there is no reason to continue CM7 so I want to go to another device.
I am 99% sure this is a joke, but just in case i am still freaking out about that 1% chance its not.......
Oh man, what a bummer if this is real! I just got my nook like 2 weeks ago and have already grown to love his work. With CM7 and Dals kernel the NC is awesome.
If this is true, I wish you the best man. And thanks for your work!

Can't believe yall thought dal would leave. First of all, a smart guy like dal would never sell his tablet and "go looking for another one." dal will know exactly what his next tablet is before he buys it, and hopefully let us all know beforehand too so we can get it ourselves! Secondly, dal would never consider the default Froyo good enough when CM7 has better video playback, working bluetooth, and is faster overall. It is a freaking masterpiece.
But I was thinking today: Aren't we running out of problems? I would love to see a classic dal rant of what possibilities lie past .32 when he can get back in the state of life he was in before Spring Break when his average post size was much larger (I completely understand, I am a student too)!

Thanks for the good words everyone, I hope the initial tests are going smoothly, please report issues so they can be logged and addressed.
I don't deserve much credit for this, all of the sources came from others, I just put them together how I see they best fit. My biggest contribution was getting the external to mount on the SGS with the crespo (nexus s) source framework.
When I have the time, I'm going to get my Linux box up and running, with the goal being to build ICS from source, directly and solely for the Vibrant, since well thats the phone I have, and still rock.
Until I can get a solid build going from source for us, I feel this is a suitable substitute.

Hi all,
Figured as Android is somewhat java related and there is so many engineers, coders here it is good place to ask.
Bought my GF a Nexus 7. She is currently studying java coding and was wondering if there are any apps for java coding on the go available for Android?
I know for now it is vague question so when I speak to her I will ask what software she is using now on PC so those in know maybe will be able to help.
Unless you know the reply now?
Thx in advance.

I don't think there are any Java coding apps for Android. You could install a Windows emulator, but it'll kill the battery.

Drain. To have a stable emulator, you'll have to have a powerful device as it requires loads of RAM. (Most emulators (if not all) are hard to set up, so I wouldn't call them "stable" till they are easy to set up.) U could try different emulators and recommend the best one to your gf.
Merry Christmas!
