Hey everyone.
Didn't see any custom boot animations for zelda so I decided to make my own. My first time doing anything custom myself so this is gonna look a little rough. I might smoothen it out when I have time. As of now, after 2 hours of work, I got this.
I might have to slow down the fps. I am having it at 30. Perhaps 24 would do? Any input would be nice.

That looks really good I would slow it down just a little bit but not much

Awesome animation, 24 should be fine cos it's going alittle to fast on 30fps.
yea it needs to be slowed down but zelda ftw

If someone more talented then I would do an LCARS Live Wallpaper, Boot Animation, or full blown Theme, I would certainly put you on my xmas list! I know others have done it for other devices, but I need one for my new Tbolt. It has the power to be really nice.

Someone made a boot animation that looked like an LCARS terminal booting up with sounds and everything... It is very cool. I'm trying to adapt that to the Tbolt, but I'm not having any luck.
That boot animation along with a full blown theme would just be awesome!
I know that Sweeter Home had an Lcars theme that was pretty slick. Haven't used Sweeter Home in a long time so not sure if it is even still around.
I looked for Sweeter Home and everything I could find indicated it was gone...

Do you have a link to another device that uses the same version of sense that you are using? I can port stuff pretty fast, besides I need a new project anyway.

So, I have all the art and the ideas....now just getting all it down on paper and doing my best to make a killer theme wether your a portal fan or not. The idea is a portal theme mirroring the 1st game nice and clean and then portal 2 being darker and run down...mirroring the 2nd game.
Please be patient with me in that I am married....like that's not enough right there, and I also work full time and run a home recording studio. This is my first theme but it is to be a colaboration with a few established themers you know and love. I will handle the art and concepts, they will handle the programming.
Please feel free to post ideas that you have and also if anyone out there knows how to make and or edit widgets & LWP.....hit me up.
UPDATE!
A deep appology to anyone who may have been anticipating this Theme. I forgot to post that I had a flood and lost my beloved laptop a few months back. I did pick one up recently and plan to resume, all be it from scratch. Im not sure if I should roll with EC05 or a GB build since things have changed from when I started this thing. Any difference as far as difficulty between creating a theme in Froyo or GB?
UPDATE 2!
I aquired an ET4G and will be making this theme for that device instead....

I am trying to think of something in the way of widgets for the goo, not sure how to incorporate. I would like to have a clock widget that resembles the nuero toxin countdown in Glados's chamber as well.
I have my work cut out for me. Been reading up on proper implementation when it comes to graphics on the android dev site. Pretty intense, anyone interested in some side projects ie: widgets and lwp?
It was a great movie for me! The soldiers dropping at Chicago was so epic! You guys should watch it.

Went at midnight last night and had some fun. Just don't go expecting a story and you won't be dissapointed. The explosions and special effects were first class.

Yup, you really can't expect any extraordinary plot from this movie but it was still great. The effects, the stunts, the action was damn great. I didn't watched it on 3D because that glasses makes me dizzy but that might have been better at 3D.

Not really a great movie. Soundtracks are not so epic. The actions are not really intriguing me. I prefer first and second transformer. :/

I still think part 2 was slightly better, but Sentinel Prime and Shockwave were incredible. I wish they were in part 2.
Im sure some of you have heard of the show DragonBall z. Well, in it they would charge up before transforming or powering up. I thought it'd be cool to have Andy standing with like electricity around him and then escalating to a flash like the new animation then he transforms to Cid with a full blown energy aura wave around him like the show.

I'm thinking of a black background with "Nexus 6" or "Motorola Nexus 6". I'll leave the rest up to you. The screen resolution is 2,560 by 1,440. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Well you shouldn't have to flash CM themes... Just use a boot animation installer app...

I'm trying to upload it to XDA and it keeps breaking XDA XD so I'll just pm it to you or whatever I'll get it to you, let me know how good it is or if you need the framerate adjusted

I have plenty of room, but the animation doesn't display. I see the LG logo until my launcher loads; it's the same problem I have when trying to create it myself (I've made several attempts).

Oh. I don't watch anime, I have college and work, and on top of that I make custom boot animations. Try to think of something else that'll be a little easier, like a simple logo that I can make explode and rebuild itself or a SMALL gif you like. I can make any logo cycle its colors through the rainbow... I made the UPS logo spin around...

Try placing it in /system/media.
Then try in /data/local.
See what happens.

No prob. How about creating an animation in which a bubble explodes and "Android" comes out of the explosion? Make it many bubbles floating around, and just before the boot happens let the text come out of the explosion. Get me?
