I am currently running Froyomod on my Milestone. But I miss the CyanogenMod Theme chooser, which made it extremely simple to change themes. Is there any way I can install it on FroyoMod?
It wont work on other roms as it is framework dependent.

I have a rooted NS4G...Im currently running the ACS TSM Pool Party rom and I was wondering if there's any good themes to flash and where can I get the Theme Chooser apk file so that I can install it on my ns4g. I know the app is installed on CM7, but i would like to use it on other roms,
Thanks
The theme would have to be made specifically for that ROM. I'm not familiar with any right now
Also, getting Theme Chooser to work isn't as easy as installing the apk. Many many edits have to be made to get it to work properly

I am using CM7 with a beautiful sense theme from this thread:
[CM7 Theme Chooser]NTSense - Sense for CM7!!! (Updated 5/9)
Does anyone know if there is already a HTC-Sense theme for Cyanogenmod 9 available ? I am mainly interested in sense-icons for the status bar. I know I can change icons by using uot-kitchen and modifying framework-res.apk, but this has to be done again and again when installing newer rom builds.
Not until they implement a new theme Chooser into CM9.

this might be a noob question
most of love the different thems that are present in cyanogen mod or aokp
since we do not have a FULLY BUG FREE cyanogen mod or aokp is there a way to run install the cm7 theams without the cyanogen mod
as we know we have a working cm 7 with bugs but the thems work without any problem in it. so is there any chance that the them chooser
integreated into other roms or just make them work without cm7

You cant do that
It is impossible
Because the themes integrate values and pngs in framework
Which will be incompatible on other devices
Theme engine is needed for proper working of themes which can run on supported framework-res.apk and systemui.apk.
For you, Simple answer is NO.
I don know HOW, but, it IS possible.
Not only by installing themechooser.apk and the themes (cyanbread.apk and androidian.apk), but modding a few system files.
CyanogenMod also has the capability ! !

Yes, but it would take a really long time, like six months of development. I guess no one would work on that.
I read somewhere that Theme Chooser is taken based on T-Mobile's rom source and CM team bring it for their source. Not sure if it is correct.

Installed but cannot apply the theme as it does not show in the installed themes on go launcher.
Running jelly bean I believe this is a known problem as I am currently working on my own go launcher theme. Which template did you use I believe if you use a template from the online go theme factory you should be okay and shouldn't have the problem
